>> [laughter] >> I don't know. He He runs the corporation.
>> Okay, this is the dude.
>> [laughter] >> Close to about 80° this afternoon.
>> [gasps] >> Uh as your kids are Jace's your girls are off. We've got another round of kids. This is the last day of school.
Here's your last bus stop planner of the school year.
Uh close to about 80° by the time you get home. There will be a chance for a few thunderstorms. In fact, a chance of storms both today and tomorrow. With those storms, potentially some larger hail, lightning, some gusty winds. We do have some better pool though this weekend. Fewer storms, uh lower risk of severe weather on Saturday, and then even more sunshine on Sunday. Right now, you can see some of the clouds that have been rolling in here along I-25. Showers down over parts of southeastern Colorado. It was nice to get a little bit of rain, a bit of a light show last night as those storms rolled through.
And now, we're in the 50s and 60s with some lingering cloud cover. Winds have been at around 10 to 15 mph. So, it's a mild start to the morning. We'll see a few clouds early on, and then it looks like right around about 12:00, a few storms starting to pop up in through the mountains. So, a little bit of lightning possible by midday. Down town, it's going to be closer to about 2:00 to 3:00 that we'll see a few of those storms pop up. And you know how it happens here this time of year. We can go from pretty quiet conditions to a thunderstorm just like that here along I-25 by about 3:00.
And then, that'll continue chance through around 5:00 6:00, and then most of it's going to push off to the northeast. And that's likely where we're going to see a bigger risk for a little severe weather. Overnight, skies will be clear. Sunshine early tomorrow morning.
A beautiful start to our Saturday morning. 50s early on. And then, we'll hit highs tomorrow again in the mid to upper 70s. And you're going to find again a chance for an afternoon storm or two. Today's risk of severe weather just clips the northeastern edge of the metro area and northern front range. Mainly up to the north and east. And then, tomorrow's risk of severe weather really just up closer to spots like Akron, Sterling, stretching up into Nebraska.
So, that's where we'll see some of the stronger storms on Saturday. Sunday, more sunshine, drier conditions, we'll hit highs right around about 80° Sunday with a few more afternoon storms early next week, but actually very seasonal Jason for this time of year. Quiet in the morning, a few afternoon storms, and highs right around about 80°.
