Off Duty Police Officer Caught Attacking Homeless Man

[00:00:00]On July 28th, 2023, the 911 dispatch at the Key West City Police Department received a call from a taxi driver saying that an individual was banging on his door and asking him to call 911 because he had just been attacked by two men. Soon the story would unravel and the truth would come out.

Mardle was placed on paid administrative leave pending the investigation. The victim passed away the following October due to unrelated causes.
