[00:01:36]Like I have to get either a room for rent or an apartment and then I have to get a job or state assistance and I have to take clean UAS. I just finished a mommy and me program. But because they're not letting me see him right now, I relapsed.

And when that happens, you just got to think quick and try to make sure your life is like you don't die. Make sure your life is saved.

[00:08:54]Um, now that I got a phone, I'm pretty much just dealing with regulars, but like jumping in and out of cars like I'm doing today. Um, it's scary and sometimes they treat you really nice and sometimes they treat you like straight garbage and they'll talk to you like you're a piece of dirt on the ground.

[00:11:40]Honestly, like they're trying to clean it up as like they're trying, but every time you take an attic off the street or you take a dealer off the street, 10 more come out.

[00:18:52]>> The drugs um pretty much food, clothes, and then a place to stay at night if I can find a place to stay that night.

[00:22:45]>> I found out my son was having seizures and pretty much like I just mentally couldn't handle it and they said something about my son and I just flipped.

[00:23:21]>> Damn. They're putting xylene fetti. They put what? Whatever's in the dope, they pretty much are put in the crack, too, which is sad. And um >> that's why I only like will buy off certain blocks.

[00:24:51]Um, pretty much like whenever my high starts wearing down and like if I can't like get a date or if I can't like get my high and I start getting real tired, like I'll just pay somebody to sleep.

[00:25:11]>> Yeah.

[00:25:12]>> Were you ever like stuck out here on the streets or No.

[00:25:14]>> Um, the two really really cold nights that we had >> Mhm.

[00:25:17]>> I think it was like below 7 or something like that. Um, I actually was outside, but it was before I started doing dates again.

[00:25:26]>> I started doing dates again.

[00:25:28]>> Oh, man. So, you really had it hard, huh?

[00:25:32]>> It's what made me turn back to it.

[00:25:34]>> Oh, man. The cold, huh? Just being out here stuck in the cold?

[00:25:39]>> Sheesh. And um, how were you surviving?

[00:25:42]Like, you just making it or >> just I'm just living.

[00:25:46]>> What did it Did you feel Did you feel any pain?

[00:25:51]feel pain every day.

[00:25:52]>> Okay. Okay. No, cuz some people say >> emotionally and mentally is the worst.

[00:25:58]The physical pain, it comes and goes.

[00:26:02]>> The mental and the emotional pain.

[00:26:04]That's the hardest.

[00:26:07]>> Um, did you did you have any medication for your mental health?

[00:26:10]>> I take meds every day.

[00:26:12]>> Take what?

[00:26:12]>> I take my meds every day.

[00:26:14]>> What are they? That's good. I'm glad you do.

[00:26:16]>> I take Cerakquil.

[00:26:19]Um, I take a anti-depressant. I forgot what the name was. Starts with a Z. And then, um, I used to be on Suboxin. I don't take that no more.

[00:26:32]>> And then, um, Trazone.

[00:26:35]>> And And what do you take these medications for? What type of disorders?

[00:26:38]>> Pretty much like Cerakol is pretty much just like I take it every morning, but it's mainly for like a PRN for my anger.

[00:26:45]>> It's for what? I'm sorry.

[00:26:47]>> It's a PRN for my anger. You're angry.

[00:26:52]>> You You really have your temper tantrums, don't you?

[00:26:55]>> I don't blame you. You You have it rough. Are you ever religious at all?

[00:27:00]>> Yeah, I believe in God.

[00:27:01]>> Believe in God. That's good. That's good. That's good. You got to have some type of faith out here, you know. Lord, see it. Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he'll get you up out of here. I can't believe it. They got shoes up here. It's crazy. It's really the hood.

[00:27:16]>> Yeah. Is it like that where you from?

[00:27:18]Vermont?

[00:27:19]>> No, Vermont is kind of country.

[00:27:21]>> It's country.

[00:27:22]>> Yeah, but it's like I lived in Harlem and South Carolina before. So, Philly is kind of a mix of all three places, but not the South though.

[00:27:35]>> Yeah. What was South Carolina like?

[00:27:37]>> I loved it.

[00:27:38]>> You loved it out there.

[00:27:39]>> Southern hospitality, the way men treated women. Like, >> it's a great place. Did you have any sobriety out there? Were you sober?

[00:27:47]>> I was sober the whole time I was out there.

[00:27:50]>> That's dope.

[00:27:51]>> I was raising my kids.

[00:27:53]>> You was raising your kids out there?

[00:27:55]>> I was sober for 9 and a half years.

[00:27:57]>> What made you come back out here then?

[00:27:59]>> Uh, this is my first time actually out here, >> huh?

[00:28:02]>> This is this is my first time out here.

[00:28:05]>> Oh. And and how long?

[00:28:07]>> I left and went back home to Vermont.

[00:28:16]>> Yeah, your kids are back home or >> I'm sorry.

[00:28:20]>> I have too many warrants.

[00:28:27]>> Um, you don't got no charges out here or nothing?

[00:28:30]>> Um, I've I went to jail out here for 8 months.

[00:28:34]>> And And uh Connecticut didn't come pick you up?

[00:28:37]>> No.

[00:28:38]>> Oh, jeez. No, but um >> So you must have had some like light charges back home, man. You can't do that.

[00:28:44]>> That's 31 penny charges.

[00:28:46]>> 31.

[00:28:48]>> Cuz of back when I was on dope, I used to steal cars.

[00:28:53]>> Yeah, I feel you. I feel you. Dang.

[00:28:55]Yeah, you got a lot lot over your head.

[00:28:57]You know, you got to you got to make a decision. I say you just take that shot at rehab out here again cuz um I'm taking a lot of >> You had some success. You said 2 months.

[00:29:06]That's a long time.

[00:29:08]>> It's a long time. And that was before it was cold. So, how long ago was that?

[00:29:13]>> No. Um, I actually went into rehab right before I um right after I gave birth.

[00:29:18]>> Right after you gave birth. Okay.

[00:29:19]>> Yeah. So, I was in rehab by December 18th. I gave birth. December 11th.

[00:29:23]>> Oh, you just came back out here. You real fresh.

[00:29:27]>> Yeah.

[00:29:27]>> It's time to get up and get up out of here. You see what's happening to people, right?

[00:29:34]>> They dropping dead.

[00:29:35]>> Yeah.

[00:29:38]>> I'm glad I'm not on dope no more.

[00:29:40]>> Yeah, getting off the dope is good, but you know the crack is a little tainted.

[00:29:45]I know you say you got your right suppliers and stuff.

Could have bumped into her. But anyways, uh hopefully just like Mary, you know, you have a story where you flip it around.
