When a parent commits a crime and abandons their children in a public place, they face serious legal consequences including charges for theft, child endangerment, and contributing to the delinquency of minors; law enforcement must verify the parent's identity before releasing children to others, and prior criminal history such as probation can result in immediate jail time rather than just summons.

Woman does a crime 😩 abandoning her kids😜😜😜😜😜😩😩😩😩😩Added:
All right.
>> On June 23rd, 2025, officers were dispatched to Walmart regarding a theft in progress. Employees reported that a woman had been failing to scan items at a selfch checkckout register. When confronted by store security, the woman fled the scene, leaving behind the merchandise and her children.
>> Not leaving a kid, >> I ain't going to lie, that's a good that's a good kind of little hype, you know? Oh, I >> like we in the store and the kids behind us like >> that was six kids you left.
>> No, you wouldn't leave your kids >> to the >> girl. I better left them damn kids and we be out of there.
>> You're a friend. Gotcha.
>> I'm trying to get right now to see how much um come over to watch the kids.
>> Okay. So, did she ask you to watch the kids? She didn't just like >> she pointed to the kids. So I'm assuming that was her watching the kids. I did not hear what she was saying when she >> seems like she has a lot of history based on what we found. So um what's your plan? You going to take back?
>> I'm not I don't have to abandon them.
>> Yeah, we're fine with releasing them to you as long as we can have her verbally say that. So otherwise you're going to have to go with children. You heard her say that?
>> If she verbally say >> you can take them. You can take the kids.
>> I understand that. How did you guys get here?
>> You have everybody.
>> Yes.
>> How did she walk?
>> She's where she went. I don't know.
>> She like, "Uh, these her damn kids."
Look, I just dropped off at the store.
little girl got inside.
>> Me, too.
>> Whatever. She's got warrant. I don't care. I want to make sure.
>> I will do that.
>> Hey, I'm here with the officer. They want verbal consent that I >> And they want you to come get your goddamn kids.
>> All right. Just Just so you My name is Sergeant Police Department. I I only briefly spoke with my officer here.
>> Wait, pause. Let me tell you something.
If I drop your ass up at the stove, go pick you up, you and your nine kids, and uh you try to steal some meat or the biscuit you wanted, and then you run leaving me with your [ __ ] kids. I promise you they going to stay at Walmart. I promise you.
>> They trying to keep my sister.
>> Yeah. I'm sorry. Your mama should make better decision.
>> That's so crazy. You dog, what you'll do if that was your friend uh whoever it was, you drop off at the store and she tried to steal, they try to get her, she run leaving her kids with you. What do you do?
>> I wouldn't need them kids.
Uhuh. I wouldn't leave abandon.
>> THEY NOT THEY GOING OUT WITH THE SYSTEM.
THEY NOT BEING abandoned >> due to actions of their mother. I'm not the social worker. find a uh >> See, that's why you ain't going to never have time to yourself.
You trying to >> No, I try to find a relative or something.
>> The police going to do that? The relative ain't going to do nothing. They say they're not releasing it unless the mother comes back. So, let's see.
>> Like, you just left your kids here uh after you committed a theft and decided to run away. So, what we're going to do is we're going to file warrants for um theft. We're going to file warrants for child endangerment uh for each one of your kids that you decide to abandon here. And then we're going to also charge you with uh contributing to the delinquency of a minor uh for a theft while in the presence of your kid. Um at this point, I appreciate your verbal consent. Um I'm not so sold on it. I I can't verify who you are. I have no information for you. All I have is a name and a phone number. Um so what I'm likely to do is just I'm going to have to take the kids to uh children's services and have uh a legal guardian pick them up from there.
>> My best friend can't take them.
>> Uh no. No. The easiest way for this whole thing to be to have went down is would you have got a piece of paper on a summon and show up to a court date.
Can't see who you are. You abandon your kids like this. Now, I'm not one for favor is willing to leave their kid to believe that these kids are theirs or who they are. So, do you want to show back up and and receive your uh your paperwork and your summons uh I'm fine with that. Otherwise, no. We're children are going to go to children's services.
>> So, I'm just going to get to go to jail.
Yeah, that's the whole plan. You get a summon, you have a court date, we verify who you are and make sure that you are the person that you say. We'll give you a summon for the theft. You'll be on your way.
>> Okay. Well, I'm going to come back when we go then.
>> Okay. That's probably for the best. I really don't want anything bad.
>> That's a good level.
>> I don't want I just don't want to go to jail.
>> That's right.
>> I didn't really tell you anything wrong.
>> Well, you did do something wrong.
>> I understand. We'll talk to her in just a second.
>> Okay.
>> All right.
No, I want to I do want >> because she ain't want our kids to go into jail.
>> I don't if if she shows up in the next reason amount of time. The only thing that prevents her from going to jail and not just being issued charges that >> he's so full of [ __ ] He he he just mad cuz she got away.
>> We have some crazy warrant setters that still >> warrants. I don't believe so.
>> Okay. So that's that's what prevents us.
>> That's what prevents us with thefts like this from issuing some of the summon.
>> Unless there offenders that we just deal with all the time or just consistently do have thefts across the record that we have to keep telling them to stop.
>> He walk out of here with >> Oh, shut up, buddy.
>> I mean, this this would >> Okay. I'm just concerned cuz you know, I do have the kids and they like I was telling him, the one has anxiety. She can't do it.
>> I know.
She does have two possible wars for theft.
>> Beth is she does come down here like those are verified. We will have to make an arrest. But people be saying that verbally see. Okay.
>> She should throw her best friend under but nothing has been verified.
>> She ain't got to criminal activity.
>> Very worst end of this. She has to go to jail and you get the kids because we're able to verify who she is and that she's okay to send the kids with you. speaking to somebody over the phone, not being able to see their face, having no ID on them, not being able to verify like they've seen mom, mom has seen them, like, "Yeah, that's my mom. Yeah, that's my kids." Yeah. How do I just send >> I completely understand?
>> But I just want to be prepared cuz she's going to freak out. And like I said, I have to >> And even if that's the case, >> we don't want to go and traumatize kids, right? So, so I can have you take kids to the car, but let her let her give them hugs, say, "Hey, they're going you're going to stay stay the night with you for a little bit. I have I have to go talk to somebody and not even have them see her get put in handcuffs in the back of a car right now." We can we can deal with all of that. None of that is an issue for us. And that again is on the the far worst side of things.
On the other end, if if the warrants are no good, then they're no good and you all go home and she gets to pay for someone's inside. I'm hoping that's how it >> suspect is now back at Walmart.
>> Yep. Um, you're here.
>> I'm sorry. I shouldn't have ran. I should have just waited for you guys. I just got a little nervous. I don't feel any in trouble for theft before. I'm not going to lie to you. I've been clean all year. You know, I've been out of jail year. I haven't gotten any trouble.
>> So, I just got a little nervous and I didn't know what to do. So, >> you ran going to take off on us. No. If y'all let her get away.
>> So, what we're going to have you do is they'll come out.
>> Will you hold on my phone?
>> If they let her get away, they need a whole new uh >> am I going to be arrested?
>> Girl, run.
>> They trying to highlight.
>> They highlight her outfit.
Yeah, I should have had anyone.
>> We're going to have to check. Um, have you ever missed a court date before for this stuff?
>> She must probation. I'll be honest with you, but I know you pull up my name. It says it has a red mark by it. It says check docket for processing a payment.
>> What's your what's your probation for?
Is it also for theft?
>> Yeah.
>> There's no way that we can cut this that you won't go to jail at least for tonight. Even if you these warrants come back because of your fires, because you're on probation, I can't just release you with the summon.
>> If she run right back, >> we'll take over run that way.
>> No, she if she probation and push the basket in front of >> and I understand that, but again, it sort of comes with the territory, right?
You're an adult, made an adult decision.
>> There's not a whole lot more that I can do for you there. Okay. You know the one I should use except for this one probation by I mean it's becoming more than one isn't it?
>> I don't know how this is going to work.
>> You should have never came back to worry about them kids.
>> I'm not Yeah. I'll let you make any phone calls that you want. But >> I'm going to be there for a long time.
Can I write your phone number?
>> They best friends this.
>> All she got to do is take her cell phone.
>> Maybe she got her at the moment.
No, they let you take your phone with you.
>> Stand the night with her.
>> Yeah. Some of them let you take your phone to the jail.
>> Yeah. To get numbers out.
>> So, I'm going to give you a moment.
>> They don't let you keep it, but they'll let you get the numbers kids or anything. We We want them to come out and see mom as normal. Um, so take a moment.
>> Hey, girl. Soon as you see the kids, say, "Kids, they're taking mom to jail."
>> Okay. Can you call my mom and your phone? My phone's in case I tell them I'm going to jail.
All this over them I lie them for >> them be good from Delaware County but it's been transferred here how it works.
>> I mean I honestly wasn't trying so I I I was waiting for them like I even offered to pay for it. I mean I know probably cuz I'm really there's probably way you want to take me to jail.
>> Mom. Mom, >> I'm going to jail >> because I was feeling honestly forgot to stand up because THE KIDS WERE DISTRACTING ME AND they got me.
>> Look, she blamed it on the kids.
>> Call me down.
>> He said sorry.
>> GIRL, CALM DOWN.
MOMMY. MOMMY. MOMMY.
>> MOMMY.
>> GIRL. MOMMY. I need you right now.
>> So, mommy what we can do for you. I can take mom's phone number. You can give her a call. Mommy coming right.
What's going on? Give me your >> Wait, I got to pause. She doing a lot.
>> A lot. She went her ass in that store with all 12 of her kids and and and trying to get the them biscuits be good though.
>> Me? What biscuits?
>> That's what she was stealing the little cinnamon rolls.
>> What cinnamon roll?
>> You know, a regular pack of >> the >> Yeah. No, not the grands. The cinnamon roll. Do they have grand cinnamon rolls?
>> Yeah, the one I put in the oven.
>> Oh, I don't know. Well, the cinnamon rolls. They are good.
>> Meaning that I see why people be trying to take them. boy.
>> So she she scanned the meat and all other stuff, but them cinnamon rolls, you know, that's a delicious treat.
>> Help me. Okay.
>> All right.
I >> She took this girl. Okay.
>> The egg is up.
>> I love you, too.
>> I love you, Mom. Thanks for >> finish my phone call real QUICK BY CHANCE. IS my boyfriend. HE'S HE'S IN PRISON.
TELL HIM WHAT he does.
>> In prison, you can make a call.
>> I can't call him. He's in prison.
>> Yeah. Can I just tell him goodbye? I love him, but please.
>> She act like she act like she Wait. I can't.
>> That girl act like she going away forever. Like she didn't did the high school.
Let her take >> and she saying, "Oh my god, mom. Mom, I need your mom. OH MY GOD, THIS IS SO HARD. THEN SHE GO, "ALL RIGHT, love you.
Bye-bye." Then she said, "Can I call my boyfriend?"
>> You know, he just in the prison up the street. We We going to pass him.
>> I need to say goodbye to the kids. Do you think Do you think it'll look good on me that I'm in pro in rehab still and everything and that might come give me a second chance? All right. I love you.
>> All right. Why not?
>> Somebody else.
>> I'm so mad at myself.
>> You should be whatever.
>> I'm not going to be in there long. I hope you promise. I don't know if I did.
As long as you are going to be okay.
>> GIRL, GIRL LIKE, "BITCH, YOU THE ONE STEALING OUT HERE. YOU TOLD US SO YOU CAME." THAT girl said, "Uh, baby, I'm hot. I want pop."
That's what you should have stolen us a popsicle. [ __ ] >> Cuz she looking at them like her mama like, "Girl, look how she looking at >> y'all got to take you home with her." Okay.
>> She's just got to go talk to somebody and that's it. And then she'll be back out back to see you again. So, >> now if not like she's going anywhere super far.
>> I love you guys. this video. It's It's going to be all right. I'm not >> ran with Nike slides, dog.
>> So, this just turn around behind. We're going to use several sets of >> Oh my god. I can't make this up.
>> I probably won't be booked until like whatever.
>> This is Call my mom and let her know.
>> All right. It's called >> we're going to do it over here.
>> My mind is I'm just I'm upset with myself. Like >> I cannot take this.
>> Y'all, that's a ramp.
