Childhood fears, such as irrational fears of natural disasters like tornadoes or quicksand, often persist into adulthood and can be influenced by environmental factors and media consumption. These fears can manifest as anxiety about everyday situations like bridges or tunnels, and may be shaped by personal experiences, family influences, and exposure to disaster-related media content.

H.A.G.S. | Delusional Diaries PodcastAdded:
Hi guys, welcome back to Delusional Diaries podcast. I'm Hie >> and I'm Jazz and today we have a heavy announcement.
Don't look so happy. No, I'm kidding guys. The podcast is ending.
>> We're taking a summer break. Um, we both have obviously so much going on and we keep this podcast very relevant to our current lives and like what's going on like every week. We talk about like Red Flats Queen and all of the things.
>> Yeah, it's very in the- moment to what's currently happening >> and it's really hard when we both have different schedules for you have a bunch of weddings this summer. I'm obviously getting married, going on a honeymoon, all the things. Um, so it doesn't make a lot of sense for us to batch record like three episodes at a time because the first episode's great and then by the second or third episode we're like >> we're really off base.
>> We're actually talking about literally nothing at this point. Like we need to separate them by week. Um, so it's just really hard to batch record things. And we've also never taken a break from this podcast for the four years that we've had it. So, >> which I think is like kind of crazy.
>> Um, but we haven't missed we haven't missed a Thursday and so I'm looking forward to this break because we're we're redoing a few things and switching some things up. So, it'll come back for the better, but I think in order to continue longterm, we need to take a little break.
>> Yeah, definitely for >> Yeah, but we we'll still obviously be everywhere else. So, you'll get to see us and hang out with us. But just no pod. Still newsletter though, every single week and maybe some Patreon things. Who knows?
>> Period.
>> But anyways, >> what's been going on with you?
>> Oh my goodness. Well, nothing. Like, what actually has been going on with me? Um, life is pretty like eh right now.
>> Oh, >> I don't have anything really interesting happening. I think I've been so used to being on the go and all the travel that I've had. Now that I'm I am taking a beat and I don't have any workrelated travel coming up, I'm just like I'm finding my new routine and like all that good stuff which has been >> I love it. I've never been happier than to be home. Like I love traveling and I'm obviously so grateful. But I think after doing two new country, two, sorry, two new continents across the world like this past whatever. That was a lot of backto-back really big international travel. I definitely feel like really glad to be home. That being said, I obviously had such an amazing time and I'm so glad for those experiences that I'm definitely excited to not have any insane trips coming up. Yeah, I think it's just an adjustment of me. Like I didn't have my routine was unpacking and repacking. And now I'm finding my new routine of being home, which is just like an adjustment for me because I was again so on the go. But it'll be good once I get like into the routine, but finding it is like taking me a second to like find my groove, I guess.
>> See, I feel like I have like the most strict routine like always when I'm home. And when I get out of it, that's when I get like really messed up where I'm like, [ __ ] like whatever. And I like to just dive right back into it.
So, I always feel like grounded and good when I'm home in my routine.
>> Okay. Yeah.
>> Um, but yeah, I feel like I've been just going back and forth from the city to the Hamptons because my house is finally done. Like we obviously I bought it in October and then we basically haven't been there like one time since. Um, and then it's obviously just got finished in May and now we've been there. We're like really like time crunch kind of trying to get some stuff together. I'm trying to like have a balance because I don't want to just fill my house with like stupid furniture I find. But at the same time because I like to like slowly curate and like find something at a random antique shop and be like that'd be perfect for this space of my house cuz I just think that's how you find the best stuff and put stuff together.
>> Make a house a home.
>> Like that's how I feel like I really like how my apartment is and I feel like it's because we took so long to actually decorate it. But at the same time, we're obviously getting married and having our party at our house. Not that really anybody's going to be inside, but I'm like it can't be like this bare ass like whatever. So, we've definitely been trying to like happy medium finish it.
Um, and it's been it's been really good.
We've everything's still been under a little bit of construction. Um, I'm turning my you heard it here first. Um, cuz I I made a video a while ago if you guys remember. I have like a little sounds weird, but a shed. It's like a she shed in the back of my house, but it's like a fully finished um like kind of shed with electricity. And we actually redid the tile and stuff. And I didn't know what I was going to turn it into. I was like, maybe I'll do a Pilates studio, but I'm like I need to like be embarrassed in a public class, you know what I'm saying? And like have to work out. Like I'm not going to use a Pilates studio at home.
>> It sounds great in theory, but it's like >> Yeah. Um, and so I was kind of debating on what I was going to do, but we ended up um, just deciding because obviously we're getting and having a party in our backyard. We're turning it into a bar cuz let's be real, all our friends like to drink. That's what we like to do.
That's like the most practical and most useful scenario. So, and also we're going to obviously have like bartenders and stuff for the party and that'll be like where all the bar and alcohol and everything is. I think it'll be like a really cute element of the party as well. So yeah, my contractor has been like finishing the tile in there and like building stuff and it'll be done this week. So I'm very excited about that.
>> This week? This weekend it'll be done.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, yay.
>> Yeah, we can use it. Um yeah, it'll be done Wednesday. Um and then >> for my first drink from that bar.
>> Same.
>> Are you going to like name the bar? Like every like home bar needs a name.
>> I think Reed Reed wanted it to be dog themed and call it Bar Dog.
>> Oh, that makes a lot of sense.
>> Um but I don't know. We'll see. But yeah, so I think that's cute. And I'm very excited for that to be done. And then what else? Yeah, just been like decorating and getting everything together.
>> Yeah, we're also getting the boat out this weekend. Hopefully we get some nice weather.
>> I know.
>> I'm not feeling super confident.
>> It's Memorial Day also.
>> I don't know when this episode's coming out.
>> Comes out after.
>> Yeah, afterwards. But hopefully we had a fantastic weekend. Hopefully it was gorgeous.
>> I'm looking forward to that experience because we really bought that boat on a whim last year. I feel like >> Yeah. But it's been very useful. So, >> I love the boat. I had a great time on it.
>> Yeah. Um I did my hair trial this morning for >> the summer. Obviously, like it's not looking the best right now. We did um >> Did you do two hairstyles?
>> Well, yeah. She also put extin extensions into my hair. So, obviously like um we were styling it based off of that and like everything. It was just more of like a test of like she was literally just kind of like holding the bun up. wasn't legit doing it, if that makes sense, cuz we were just getting an idea. And I was like, I feel like she's very used to doing like very, very like classic bridal looks, just because that's what obviously a lot of people go for. And it was funny cuz I was literally like, "No, no, no. Like, I want it to be so messy." Like, I want it to like look kind of like [ __ ] if that makes sense. And she was just like laughing cuz like I'm sure she's used to doing like everyone wants like the perfect like sculpted wave or something.
And I was, no, I wanted to like kind of look horrible, but in the best way possible. Not horrible, but you know what I'm saying? Like so messy. Um, and so we were just like playing around with that. But I'm excited. I also just like don't really care that much. I'm like I'll just like figure it out the day of kind of. I'll be like, eh, we can do this.
>> I think you know your vibe. That's kind of all you need to know.
>> Just like messy hair. Um, like I was like I hate slick backs. I hate clean hair. Like I hate like that look. Um, like I hate like a perfect blowout. It just like doesn't look good on me. I don't know. But I like when it's just like >> But I feel like it's good that you know what looks good on you. I think a lot of people go into like bridal like hair trials and like bridal things in general without knowing what their like actual like style or like looks are and like you're very sure of like what looks good.
>> I feel like I always that's all I do is go in and say what I hate when like I get my makeup done too. I'm like I hate cool tones. Like I look horrible with like a purple on my eye. I don't want that. I want warm tones. I like to be bronzy. I like to like whatever. I always just go in with the things I don't like and then I'm like okay that can narrow down like you know what they can do. I also don't love to just be like do this because I feel like every person is different in their like talent. So I'm almost like do what you think is best because they obviously hired you for a reason.
>> XYZ.
>> Yeah. Like like I give them like some guidelines but I'm kind of like do what you think is best and what you do best because like if I'm trying to get you to do this completely different style of makeup or hair that you don't do >> it might not be that good. You know what I'm saying?
>> I think also too it's different like when you're on social media and like things that we've had to do cuz we get our makeup done pretty often. And same thing with her hair. So you kind of like feel things out and know your vibe. Like even now if I were to like re get married, I would do my makeup and hair probably differently than I do.
>> I didn't get that far yet.
>> Okay.
>> But I'm just saying I feel like I've learned more of like what I like with certain like areas of like makeup on my face of like snatching and like not sn like certain things I've just like learned through >> getting trial and error. Yeah. Getting it done so many times where I whereas like prior to the wedding I I don't think I make it done a few times.
>> Yeah. I think your hair was good. I think >> No, same. I I like it. I'm just saying there's a few like little things that probably no one else would notice that I would notice on myself that I would probably adjust now because I've had more trial and error.
>> Okay.
>> But >> yeah, I don't know. I'm just like whatever. I'll [ __ ] figure it out.
Like I I don't know. I'm also like I can just like [ __ ] fix it. Worst case.
Not that I'm there's going to be a worst case or I'm going to have to fix it.
>> Yeah. It's going to be totally >> It's going to be good.
>> Perfect. And fine.
>> Um guys, Bertha, my bug. She had to get a new battery. So Kevin literally had to push her to the mechanic this weekend because it did die in the middle of the road. But she's getting a new battery and will be all fixed up. Thank goodness. And I look forward to my summer with Bertha. I just actually ordered a bunch of new CDs.
>> I love that.
>> Mhm.
>> So excited for you.
>> Did you ever used to burn CDs or like were you too young for that?
>> No. I I remember my parents talking about it, but I never personally did it.
>> Um like I feel like they would do that, but I I I didn't. You can like put whatever songs you want on the CD, right? Yeah.
>> Yeah. I don't know.
>> Do you even like have CDs yourself or No. Um, probably like my parents were using them and I was like >> car.
>> Yeah. Like I'm sure, but like I don't physically have any like memories of like doing like having CDs and putting them into something.
>> You didn't like go ask for a CD or buy a CD or something?
>> No. Okay.
>> No, not to my knowledge.
>> Okay. Period.
>> Um, oh, Jacob Oli, Kendall Jenner, >> Timothy and Timothy in a car together.
Like I've never been more jealous of somebody >> I just >> vibe in my life.
>> I just don't understand how every single attractive like popular person Kendall has been with.
>> I do because she's actually one of the most perfect people I've ever seen in my entire life.
>> Well, I'm just like how is she how have none of them like been her how's she not worked out with any of them? Like that's what I'm curious about.
>> It's like Pete Davidson like he's dated every beautiful model there ever has been like like just gorgeous girl. He's dating everyone from Kim Kardashian like um a lot Maline Klein. So many people.
>> Yeah, I guess >> he pulls. No, >> I'm not saying obviously she pulls. I'm like does she just like want to be like single forever? Like what's her vibe? I wanted I'm curious to know like has she wanted to be with any of them like long term and like I would love to know the ins and outs. Like I'm never getting that off. Maybe they're like I'm very curious like what that looks like. I feel like when you're just that hot, you're just like, "Yeah, Jacob Lord already like let's like date for 9 months and like be hot together and then like, you know, I don't know if we're like really meant for each other long term, but like let's just vibe."
>> But I just want to know has there been anyone where she's like, "I want to be with you."
>> Evan Booker. I really felt something about them.
>> Yeah, cuz they like they like came back around quite a few times.
>> So like I am curious there like >> But yeah, I that is so [ __ ] iconic.
Also, like it's really weird to conceptualize. Timothy and Kylie seem like such a new couple to me, but they've been together for like four years at this point. Like really long.
Um >> I would love to see like him in one of her Tik Toks cuz she like posts on TikTok pretty actively. Like I'd love to see like him there like not just break the internet.
>> Yeah. Like I'm very curious like watch their dynamic in like one of those kinds of videos just like at home casual chill.
>> I know. I know. I mean Yeah. They're and they're like pretty they're very public now.
>> Yeah. They do like every single like carpet and award show and stuff together, but like I want to see them like in their own element. Like >> I wonder are they going to get engaged?
Like I could see that happening.
>> Yeah. They've been together for like almost four years now, I think.
>> Yeah, I think so. Um like that. I would love to know if him and um Travis Scott communicate like >> Yeah. Like are they cool?
>> Like I I would die to see Travis and Timothy combo >> to be a fly on the wall >> and then like Yeah. Like seeing him with her kids like how does that go? Like how many does she have? Two.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Right.
>> Stormy and Air. Yeah.
>> Okay. I think so. Um I wonder if they would ever have a kid.
>> My god. I wonder if she wants more kids.
>> I could see her having another. She's still very young. She's like 27. Maybe.
>> I think she's Her birthday's in August.
I think she's a year same. She's 28.
>> Google it. Maybe.
>> I think that we're not that far apart in age.
>> She's 28. Yeah. Be 29 in August.
>> Um like I could see it. Yeah, I guess I'm going be shocked, but she pregnancy was like tough.
>> What?
>> On Jake Chain's podcast, she was saying >> it was harder. I thought she just said she gained weight.
>> She like had really bad back pain and was like not doing well and stuff.
>> Yeah, I saw Jake >> that I watched a clip, not the entire podcast. So, like take that with a grain of salt.
>> I like her just she's such a good podcast. She should have a podcast.
>> No, I think I think she I think she's going to start what?
>> I think she's soft launching it.
>> I think she is too. Like I see that for her >> on Jake Shane's thing. It was like she just like their dynamic was really great. like it was just I mean he has a good dynamic with everybody but I feel like especially them like everything they they would talk about the most mundane thing would somehow make it like >> um I again I only watched the clips but still >> I loved the clips but I just love how for her like it's like her truth is her being like Christmas birkin birthday another birkin like me and my mom's love language is like birkin birkin birkin like that's >> I I think that it's that was the right platform cuz I could see some people being this is out of touch but it's just like of course they are out of >> touch that that's her reality.
>> Yeah. It's just like that is some people's reality and I think like I don't know whatever I I don't I don't really know but I think that that was like the right platform where I feel like people found it really funny and it was like good like it wasn't like taken like wow.
>> No 100%. I think she's that she's just like been in the public eye for so long and she's just like genuinely like just like herself >> which I appreciate and like honestly I just like love watching some rich people like I love watching like a reality that's not not mine. Like the fact that she's saying certain things like that is so far from my reality but I enjoy watching it cuz it's like I'm not there to like watch it from someone else's perspective.
>> Definitely.
>> I have not had a block of the week in quite some time.
>> I think I might have blocked all my haters.
>> Okay, period.
>> I think I might have got rid of all of them. Okay. Um, yeah, I don't really have I don't Again, I just don't talk.
>> No one's read me the wrong way recently.
>> I haven't gotten actually too much hate for the most part. Um, >> life has been like peaceful.
>> I can't think of it. Yeah. The only like stupid thing like this is like seriously not a big deal, but I was getting some like flak in my DMs for um my ring.
People were like cuz I took a photo of it on my Instagram story and it was like uh I I I said one time that I lost one of the small diamonds in the um band and like I'm just really rough on stuff but whatever. I lost one of them. And then I posted a photo and I have, if you don't know, like a white diamond and champagne diamond alternating on my band that's underneath the marquee diamond. And I guess in the lighting I I could see where it looks like it a little bit, but it kind of looked like almost the hole was hollow because the champagne diamond was photographing really dark in that lighting. And then people like, "Wow, you lost another diamond." Like really cheap. Like cheap cheap cheap. like all these people are saying stuff of like oh my god like it's literally not lost it's just the [ __ ] lighting and like I just it was really crazy and that that annoyed me just cuz it was stupid and not true but it's really not a big deal >> like little things which just kind of like irked you a little bit.
>> Okay, thanks. Um >> what was your biggest fear as a child?
>> Quicksand >> just like irrationally like you weren't going to be in quicksand.
>> Well, I kind of thought I was going to be at some point. I thought I was going to come across that like and be in a serious trouble. I get that. I think mine was not to call yours rational, but mine was um tornadoes because I lived in >> uh I lived in Illinois and we get a lot of tornadoes there. And I was so scared in my house did not have a basement. So the safest place of the house is like technically supposed to be um any room in the towards the middle of the house with no windows. And that was our bathroom that was like it was like a half bath that was in the middle of our house that had no windows. So, I literally remember like whenever it would get stormy and just like really rainy anytime that my mom hated anytime there was gloom or rain or thunder because I would be like hiding in the powdered room downstairs because I was just so scared and I literally always thought that we were going to get like and my mom would always tell me I remember one time my mom told me like oh like tornadoes only come like this season and this season cuz there's like tornado seasons that when a lot of tornadoes happen. Um, and like typically you don't get any tornadoes in the winter for the most part, but this one like January we had this freak tornado and I was at school and we got a tornado like warning or whatever and we all had to go like hide under our desks and I remember literally being like scream crying in like my classroom and on my first day of second grade actually like I had this irrational fear of tornadoes but on my first day of second grade my we weirdly had not weirdly I guess it was kind of tornado season. We had a tornado and the sky was like legit green and I my mom would always try if she knew there was a tornado warning, my mom was like a stay at home mom. So my mom would if there was any like kind of anything going on with the tornado, my mom would just come pick me up from school cuz she's like the teachers deal with that. But this one came on very suddenly and my mom like they wouldn't allow any pickups. They were like sorry we're locking the kids all in like the school or whatever. And I we had to stay way past we had to stay for like 3 or 4 hours past like school time. Like school ended at like 3:00 or 4:00 and we weren't allowed to leave. We had to stay till like 7:00 p.m. I was just scream crying the whole time. Imagine this teacher. It's your first day. You've never met this kid and she's just like >> [ __ ] It's me. It's been a long year.
>> Literally scream crying. And then we finally got to go home and I remember just being like so traumatized. Like tornadoes were my biggest op. um still lowkey are like we don't really get them any but >> what >> do we get those?
>> No, not really. I mean I maybe like I honestly wonder if like in the Hamptons you would or something. I don't really think so. They're not very common out here. Um we maybe get a warning every once in a while, but it's very it's usually in very very very flat places like um Illinois, like Oklahoma, places like that where it's just flat for [ __ ] days.
>> But yeah, that was like oh my god, >> I got really stressed out during earthquake. We got bad at earthquakes.
>> I would be I would be terrified of that.
>> Um but like that's like like now I'm like whatever. But like >> did you have a lot where you like felt them?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They're like serious there.
>> But would they like bring down like some stuff in your house like or like would they like damage your house?
>> Um I don't there was a really big one.
Um Ray I think when I was like 19 I had moved from Alaska. I was in Arizona. My mom was in Alaska and it was like really bad.
>> Um >> and a lot of people's house like [ __ ] up.
>> Yeah. But >> yeah, I just like don't do well with like natural disasters.
>> No. Yeah, we had one earthquake in Virginia, which is like very weird. Like we don't get those. And um I remember I was at the pool and like the water was like literally splashing out of the pool and like but nobody had ever prepared for an earthquake or knew that that would like everyone was like legitimately so confused on what was happening and we thought bombs were going off at Quantico because I live right by the military base and we were all just like beyond confused like why is this happening? Um, and then we realized everyone was kind of like talking and everyone's like looking at their phones like, "Oh my god, that was an earthquake." And we were like, "Whatever." And I remember this girl was running around the pool and she's like little. She's like, "Wait, brace for the aftershock." And she just kept yelling that and running around. I'm like, "Girl, this was like not that serious of an earthquake." Like whatever. It was so funny. But also like I was a little bit scared. But that's actually why the Washington Monument in DC, I believe, is still either closed or like whatever because it got really damaged during the earthquake.
>> Oh, interesting.
>> Um, yeah. So, it's like not safe to go up in or whatever. Do you even know what the Washington Monument is?
>> Really?
>> No, it's like the white pencil.
>> Oh, yeah. It's an Olivia. It's like Olivia.
>> I was going to say I feel like it's got to be in your shows. Like the white pencil.
>> I will say one of my shows I had to stop watching. It's called 911 and it's basically like they make the craziest like disasters happen. And this is like firemen like saving people and stuff like most like crazy [ __ ] you ever seen in your entire life. But it >> almost made every single scenario that was kind of possibly similar in real life stress me out. Like I can't really do escalators anymore because an episode of this TV show like this guy got stuck in an escalator proposing to his wife and like >> died cuz he like bled out. Um so like there's just certain things that give me anxiety. So I've kind of had to like pull back on a few things. But the more like stable I get, the more unstable I get about like worrying about stuff, which is like not great.
>> Okay.
>> So, I I think I have a lot more fears now. Like even being in the car, like passing by a semi-truck gives me so much anxiety. Like I have to like speed past a semi-truck every time.
>> Yeah. I think a lot of people do that.
Like I I don't like that either. Like just cuz I'm like I'm going to [ __ ] like swerve and hit >> bridges for example. Bridges I have to roll the window down.
>> Yeah. I don't like I feel like my mom had a lot of fears of like elevators and stuff and she made me feel like really like like because of her anxiety it like gave me anxiety about it and I don't know if I would have really ever thought that heavily about it. I I don't know.
But yeah, I'm not like obsessed with the bridge. I'm not like I really don't love a tunnel. Like I'll go in them, but I'm just like the whole time I'm like I really would love to get out of this.
>> Um like a traffic in a tunnel.
>> Traffic on a bridge. I'm like literally sweating just thinking about it. Like it actually gives me so much anxiety. Like it's my worst nightmare. a bridge. I don't know why the tunnel to me seems like if that collapses, we're done. Like we're under the [ __ ] water, there's [ __ ] on top of us. Like we're done. I don't know why a bridge, not that I feel good about it, but in some ways I'm like maybe depends on how high the bridge is, but I'm like maybe like if this started I I'll just [ __ ] roll down the window and jump out or something. Like even though like it's a lot it's probably not really rational that like I think I could survive it, but I just I don't feel as bad about it.
>> Yeah. I didn't really get the whole tunnel thing until recently and now it's like kind of kicked off >> like tunnel it feels to me like you're on >> but I feel like at least a tunnel like you'd be out quick right like >> I don't know I feel like it's this >> I feel like you're kind of giving like slow drowning death on a boat >> I think you're doing the same with the tunnel >> really I think I just get crushed >> I don't it depends what if the water just starts slow leaking in your stomach >> okay um >> I'm going to survive whatever it is it's no big deal it's totally fine >> 91% of dog parents say their pup isn't important member of the family and 40% would even save their dog over a human stranger. Guys, I really love having a beverage and right now I've been obsessed with the real tea. They have new Jolly Rancher flavors that are so good. They have green apple and blue raspberry, but I think blue raspberry is my favorite.
It's such a fun flavor and it tastes just like a Jolly Rancher. And that's what's so crazy is that it tastes like candy, but it's actually a zero sugar iced tea. Like it has zero sugar, zero calories, and it's still full of flavor.

>> What is the worst anxiety you've ever had?
>> When I cracked my chin open, >> okay, >> by far. If you guys are new here, um, at Danielle Carolyn's birthday party, what was this like four years ago? Three and a half years ago.
>> Almost. Yeah. Four. Four in the fall.
Yeah, it was obviously I had open bar. I'm having my drinks. I'm chilling.
Not really sure how the end night ended, but I did fall somewhere. Did crack my chin open. Did have to get stitches. Um, didn't feel great the next day.
>> The thing is though, this is the thing.
Although I understand why you would have the worst anxiety about it, looking back now, there's really no harm or anything that happened because the only person you embarrassed yourself in front of was me.
>> And it's like so true.
>> So it's just like >> and that guy >> it's well yeah but he's who cares? He's like he's not relevant in your life.
>> I'm just saying at that point in time like I was like oh my god. But it's like to me like now like that I honestly think like I mean this not bad.
>> You've done way worse. That's actually messier and worse that you like like you know what I'm saying where it's like that's probably like a worse objective.
>> That one just stuck with me for like literally >> I would feel that way too. Don't get me wrong. It's just like >> the really like you just didn't embarrass yourself in front of anybody besides me and we're obviously friends and I would never judge or think anything of that. I think it's funny. So it's just like >> like it's funny now. Like I at a point in time I was like I'm never sharing I definitely now it's like funny but um I will say bright side I was able to go straight through that scar through my chin lipo so did work out I think second anxiety to that like lowkey >> like fourth of July.
>> Okay that one yeah I like you didn't do anything really bad but I get it.
>> I think anytime I probably ever do something bad I probably don't remember it to be honest. You know what I'm saying? Like what if you like full think about this like what would you think is my worst one?
>> I don't know.
>> I don't think you ever like sometimes you like >> I would like FaceTime people but like >> the only thing I can think of >> I just thought of >> what >> you say go.
>> The only thing I could think of but I don't even think this is bad but sometimes like if you're drunk or like I just am thinking of like this one thing I can't even remember who you were talking to but I remember I was really not that drunk. I don't know if I was sick or like why, but you were talking to somebody and you were really drunk.
You were visibly more drunk than that person and you you're being so kind, but you're like not picking up on social cues cuz you're drunk. It was Yeah, I think you were like, "Just use my like you you kept offering for her engagement party." You're like, "Just use my apartment." And she's like clearly like, "I don't want to use your apartment."
Where she's like, "Oh, you're so sweet.
Thank you." You're like, "No, seriously, I'm going to clear it out. Do it this day. Use it." And she's like, "That's so sweet, but I'm going to have to check with my family. Thank you." You're like, "No, no, no. It's done. You're using like you just like >> I just >> It was so kind. It was just like one of those things where it's like she doesn't want to use it and you just are >> I was there at the party like >> That's not even bad. It's not like anybody would judge you for that.
>> I was just being really nice.
>> No, you were.
>> I was going to say Barcelona.
>> Oh, like when you peed on the street and got in trouble with the cop.
He's like, "You should not be out here."
You're like, "Why? Why? I'm sorry.
>> I don't think that was that again. Like I mean I don't think you've ever done anything where I'm like wo.
>> Yeah.
>> Um to cuz I was also probably right there with you if you were doing something that was wo.
>> So true.
>> Oh my god. We our 4year anniversary of meeting I was just looking at my phone cuz I wanted to check was literally we just passed it.
>> We missed him.
>> Yeah. Because it was this day. It was May 12th.
>> Wow.
>> And it was it's May 18th right now. So that's insane.
>> Your gift.
>> Funny. We're all respectfully Steve Madden. Every shoe is bad. Yours are the best.
>> It was the vibe at the time. Like I'm sorry. Like okay Renee like >> they're all platforms.
Like this picture is actually scary.
>> Yeah. Your boot your boots are the best but that dress is crazy.
>> Also like your height.
>> I know. No, I was literally in like a seven in. I mean honestly though I'm making fun of those shoes as if I didn't get engaged in this similar platform.
>> Yeah. Like that was just like a crazy it was a crazy time. Like >> and I remember thinking this dress I was like I'm [ __ ] eating. It was I imgia.
I was like I look amazing. Um I did not.
But act everyone's outfit wasn't great.
>> Um but it was the vibe at the time.
>> It was When do we hang out next?
>> I don't know.
>> Go in your camera roll.
>> Um >> you already know. This is I have so many random photos with random influencers like me and Bot Cheva.
Like haven't seen that girl probably since this photo, but period. I'm just kidding. Um I went to Vegas with Serena right after this.
>> Oh yeah, your bag >> and Harry Hill and I like um and I got my first Louis Vuitton bag. Yep. And I thought it was everything and then Serena also bought the bag. I've just always been an influencer.
>> I'm just kidding.
>> You're always just doing your part.
That's that's that's your that's your thing. Like when was the Frank night compared to that day?
>> Um I don't know. I I I'd have to find it in my camera roll. We should >> What year is that?
>> It's 2022 >> and that was May.
>> Yeah, >> it's like actually crazy to think about.
>> Face used to so big.
>> No, this is actually I'm like all my outfits during this time actually.
>> Horrible >> cuz we had Carly's birthday party right after.
>> Mhm. It >> was almost her birthday. Happy birthday, Carly.
>> Oh yeah.
>> Like your birthday is like what? May 28th, >> I think. So, >> 27th. 28th.
>> I don't know.
>> No, 28th. Cuz it was her golden birthday last year, I feel like.
>> Okay, >> that's what I'm going to go with cuz we went to like Alice and Lydia prom together.
>> Yes, that was the next time.
>> And like that's was like the prom queen in fiddle sticks.
>> Every outfit was from Revolve and I'm wearing the same shoes. I'm wearing the same boots.
>> Like guys, you do understand like this was such a time like I guess you guys like this is the thing you're on Snapchat still.
>> Oh yeah. Is that like I I was like trying to be cool and be on Snapchat as other people were. But I still hated it.
>> And we ran into Kit at Pedal Stick and she's like, "Why are you guys here?"
>> Oh my god. She was so blonde. So >> Ricky, >> stop. I miss him.
>> We used to We just used to be really outside and like >> that was just such an era of time. Like it's just crazy to think about. Like look at us now.
>> What is your favorite holiday?
>> Um I don't really think I [ __ ] with that many holidays.
>> I like Halloween because there's no presents attached. It's not actually serious. No one's like dead ass like celebrating. You don't have to go home to see your family and you get to just get really drunk and everyone wants to party. Even people that don't like to party come out of the woodworks for Halloween.
>> Yeah.
>> I like everything about that.
>> That's a good one. I feel like Memorial Day low key.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz it was my wedding and now it's my anniversary and like it's always like it's always a long weekend so everyone's like happy and like vibing and I get to hang with my friends. Like yeah, >> it's a good it's a good holiday for me.
>> Okay. I think it just depends. A lot of our friends are out of town this year, which I know that is kind of, >> but um I do I do I mean I like Yeah, Labor Day and Memorial Day. Memorial Day is nice cuz it's a kickoff to the summer. Labor Day is kind of sad because it's like the end of summer.
>> Um but they're both great in the Hamptons.
>> Um but yeah, I think Halloween cuz I just like a holiday I I actually hate respectfully I hate a holiday where everybody has to go home because I'm just like all my friends are leaving.
>> Yeah, that is >> everyone's traveling like I don't know.
I just like a holiday where everyone wants to stay in the city. I would love if everyone would just want to stay in like the city for Christmas and we could all just have Christmas together. It'd be like my ideal.
>> We can do that.
>> I know. But every who I mean everyone's like >> I was here for Christmas.
>> Yeah. But you're you're built different.
Like I feel like and you did go to Kevin's. Um >> I'm built different.
>> Like I feel like you're just like oh like your family will be like oh it's fine. Like I feel like a lot of other people's families would be like you you absolutely have to go.
>> Yeah. I'm not very loved.
>> I just mean like you're like you'll fly out on like the 26th and just be like it's fine.
>> I didn't even go this year. I know you didn't last year, >> but you went to Kevin's families on the Christmas Eve.
>> Yeah, cuz that's not giving chill.
>> What?
>> Like it's giving like we have to go.
>> Yeah.
>> Love you, by the way.
>> Love you. I'm so glad to go.
>> I'm just like I would rather just be at my house.
>> No, for sure.
>> Like we'll be at we'll be doing Christmas at our house this year.

>> This guy named Slade in my kindergarten class.
>> Oh, I meant like a celebrity, but also that >> kid if you're still out there. What's up, kid? So short.
>> I remember my crushes were I'll tell them now. Hey, um Ian, you know who you are, Ian. Um and Nick.
>> Okay. They were like the really cute guys of my middle school or like elementary school. Okay. Like they were like the guys they had like the Justin Bieber haircuts and everyone was like they were so cute.
>> Um >> I I had many of crushes.
>> Those were the two like whatever.
>> Yeah. I hope they're both doing well. Um but like they were Yeah.
>> Who was you like your first crush like TV wise? Like like do you remember?
>> I actually like really don't know. I feel me. I feel like I wasn't that like everyone cuz like I see all these repost of like these like people from like [ __ ] bridge to terribly like this was my this was my crush or something. I don't even know what the movies are.
>> I just don't think I was I think I was so focused on the material like like that I like genuinely like not pick me.
>> I don't really know if I was ever like ooh he's so cute like having a crush.
>> Like I was focused on the movie and like what the movie was about I was I was locked in. I like genuinely don't know who like my first crush was or like oh my god like I I actually have no idea.
>> I think like I just I wasn't it wasn't clocking to me.
>> And I even feel like I remember I would put up all these One Direction posters and um uh like Justin Bieber posters all over my room. And I think I was just doing it cuz I thought I was it was cool because I wasn't everyone was doing it.
I just wasn't even the biggest fan of like I genuinely wasn't like a believer or like a directioner in the way some people were where they knew everything about their life. They were reading fanfic like they were obsessed. I like loosely listened to the music and like knew their names and like I guess I guess I would think if I had to pick somebody I think it was probably like Nile but I don't even know how I much I really had a crush on him versus I just wanted to be cool if that makes sense.
>> Yeah. I think genuinely like I was just outside as a kid. Like I was I didn't even know who One Direction was until like 5 years ago. I'm so serious. Unfort >> One Direction very late in life. Like I just like think I was like an outdoor like I wasn't doing okay.
>> I wasn't I didn't get like f I didn't have social media like until like an older age. I just wasn't >> talking to me.
>> Yeah. Um I'm trying to think. Also remember I guess my first like real boyfriend that I had a crush on, his name was Christian. I like the way I want I keep want to say first and last names, but I remember he was >> he's actually linked in the description below.
>> Yeah. Hi, Christian. Um he was like he asked me out for like a day like he was like he's like do you have a crush on anybody on Facebook Messenger or whatever and I was like a little and then he's like he's like who? And I was like I can't tell you. And then he's like is is it >> this was literally every single middle school conversation.
>> It was like he's like whatever. And we went back. Yeah. And then I he I was like, "Okay, you a little." And then he was like, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" And I was like, "Yeah." And then he we started texting and then he made his banner on his phone where you could like, you know, it would be like your signature. It was like whatever. So every text he sent it would say like dash whatever. And he made it like dash I love halie. So every single time that he texted somebody, it said like dash I love hali. And I remember he text me and it came up as that and I was like, "Oh my god, >> we're moving way. we are moving way too fast. And I was like literally panicked and I remember I like didn't text him back for a day and then I just go I had to break up with him and I didn't know how like this is like literally most mecore thing ever. I'm like I'm so sorry my dad says I'm not allowed to be in a relationship so we have to break up. My dad couldn't have given less less of a [ __ ] Um like my dad couldn't care less.
And I'm like yeah my dad says I can't be in a relationship. I'm so sorry. Like I I didn't want to hurt his feelings. cuz I like didn't I needed to come up with a lie that was like not going to like let him down and whatever even though he probably didn't care cuz he probably had eight other girlfriends like you know what I'm saying and I was just like I'm so sorry and I felt so bad about it like and I was like I can't believe I just broke up with that. It lasted like >> was he like really sad >> maybe 5 days now he moved on to my best friend 2 days later.
>> Okay. Then it said like blah blah at the bottom.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I will say I was like I found my like an old hard drive at my mom's house recently and I plugged it in to look at it and there are unfortunately screenshots of like my middle school relationships like text conversations.
I'm like this is actually so physically painful to have to read. Like it it it's physically hurt.
>> I think I would pay though if I could get back into my old kick and do you have kick?
>> It was like a messaging app.
>> I think so. It was like it was but like I don't know why it was remember like we would all message on kick and we didn't use text group chat like on iPhone until like really late. Like it was like >> was like green and blue.
>> Yeah. Or green and black I think. Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> But I I would pay so much money to get into my kick and see what messages were sent. I would actually die to read them.
I think they'd be the funniest thing in the entire >> I did not find any of these funny. I found them so cringy. I was I was physically like repulsed.
>> I'm crying. No, I I would think they're really funny. Um but that is yeah I I definitely get that >> like it was like it was not giving what I wanted to give. Um but at the time I was like wow this is like eating really doing something here.
>> What is your let's wrap this on a summer note. What's your summer non-negotiable or necessity?
What's something you have to do this summer?
>> Spend time with my friends.
>> Oh, that's sweet.
>> No, I'm so serious. Like I really want to like be very present in the moment with my friends and like make a lot of memories.
>> Um yeah. I think I think yeah, spend as much time in the Hamptons and like have just like the best summer ever. Um I guess get married. Um and like I actually I want to stay as grounded as possible and try to like travel not terribly an insane amount. Like maybe if if an amazing opportunity comes up, I'm definitely going to take it cuz I love to travel and like do cool things, but also at the same time, I like really hope to be able to just like see my friends a lot and just like hang out and have like so much fun every single weekend.
>> Yeah. I really hate when it gets to a point where it's like you're trying to make plans with people and it's just not working out cuz everyone's so busy. So like I just look forward to like schedules aligning, being present, like being quality time with like people I care about.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So >> that's a good note to end it on.
>> Yeah, it is. And we look forward to seeing you guys after our summer break.
