Kandara Chief Minister Sidra Maya and WCM DK Shiva Kumar landed in Delhi this morning amid [music] intense political buzz. Well viewers that is a big update that is coming in that Sidra Maya has finally landed in Delhi to meet the Congress command which is which includes Rahul [music] Gandhi.

[00:00:29]Now, we are getting to know that he he'll have a one-on-one meeting with Rahul Gandhi at 9:00 a.m. Viewers, you can see on your screens, those are the visuals that Sidra Maya has finally landed in Delhi. [00:00:49]Uh good morning and uh last night uh from Karnataka around 4:30 is when Sidra Maya along with a AIC state in charge Zandep Singh Sujiwala and Yatendra were on the same flight the chartered flight but they were supposed to land in Delhi around 8:00 p.m. but around 7:30 is when due to uh bad weather they had to land in Japur. Now they have landed finally in Delhi and 9:00 a.m. is when there is going to be a one-to-one meeting with Rahul Gandhi at 10 Janpat and this is going to be a big meeting as far as the future course of Sidraaya is concerned because we have to see how the central leadership tried to accommodate Sidraaya because he is one of the tallest leader. We have already seen Sigra Maya saying no to Rajya Sabha birth but our sources have been telling us that Rahul Gandhi is going to insist him to take the Rajya Sabha birth even might offer the floor leader position which right now Malika Jin Kh holds but as far as the Congress party's policy is concerned it is one leader one post and that is why they are willing to perhaps offer the leader of leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha as well. We have to of course see whether Sidraaya will agree to it because we had made it very clear that as far as national politics is concerned he's not interested and want to actively be in the state politics. So apart from that there are also 10 to 12 ministers who are accompanying uh not in the same flight but they are also reaching Delhi because there are also talk about cabinet reshuffle uh that is going to happen. Uh this discussion is going to happen. So we'll get to see who gets what and also uh who or what are the demands for Sidra Maya as far as leaving the chief ministerial post is concerned.

[00:02:37]>> Right now Shireen of course the Congress has finally entered a decisive phase after months of speculation on this. Now both leaders are now in Delhi and lined up for high level meetings with the Congress high command but you know Sidraaya had rejected outrightly the Rajya Sabha uh nomination seat. So what else do you think uh the Congress party can offer him in the state level politics?

[00:03:01]>> Well, we have to of course see because we are not talking about any uh other leader. We're talking about Sithraaya who a mass leader who has been in the Congress party for 20 years and out of those 20 years uh 16 years he was leader of opposition and chief minister of Karnataka. So he has a very good report card as his political career is and accommodating a tall leader. If not nationally then how is he going to be settled in state? Of course Sudraay is going to make multiple demands as of as who all should be in the cabinet. Uh he might ask something for his son also but our sources have been suggesting that so far Sidraaya has not put any demand to the high command. probably in this meeting uh at 9:00 a.m. is when he will be uh revealing what is really in his mind. Uh but uh June 8th is when the last date of nomination for Rajya Sabha elections are up. Uh the Congress high command is hoping that by June 8th Sidra they will be able to make up mind of Sidraaya to come to Rajya Sabha instead of staying back at the at in Karnataka.

[00:04:18]>> The CM has given to the governor's office though governor was not there he has given the resation the next CM will be no pressure at all.

[00:04:26]>> No he already has clarified that whatever he hikama told and he has followed high command directions >> alreadyed that he will be active in politics.

[00:04:34]>> Yeah definitely has said >> not mentioned the CM. Now he has said that see automatically CL and DIC is going to announce the name. So you have to wait for power ongoing non-stop Game of Thrones hopefully Congress party Congress party roads, waterlogged roads, Mahilasaka, law and order is one of the longest serving chief minister of Karnataka across all the three parties Mr. Sidraaya has tended his resignation. It's a very sad day for all of us. We all legislators are with him. But from day one he's been telling the day the high command tells I will resign. So when uh honorable congress president as well as leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Mr. Rahul Gandhi he he also told that uh he has to resign and make way for a new chief minister.

[00:05:58]That's when without batting an eyelid uh even though the governor was unavailable and the governor asked him to come after two days but he ensured he told that no since I've given my word I'm coming and he gave the resignation.

[00:06:13]>> Do you think Mr. Saddamaya is happy with his decision of resigning or do you think that he was forced and nudged by the top brass to do it?

[00:06:24]Definitely you know the after hours and hours of discussion with our leaders like Rahul Gandhi and also Malikar Jinakar gave Ben and Gopal he has reconciled himself that to the position that he has to give up power as promised by him you know the when after the election >> so the I think he's totally from his demeanor I can find out that he acted as a statesman and a gentleman to give up power so that uh he will cooperate for the functioning of the government.

[00:06:56]>> So will there be cooperation? You believe that is the case? Sidraaya, his supporters, all of his loyalists will ensure that DKI Kumar runs the next two years and his government smoothly >> because the the the political and personal stake of stake lies in cooperating with Shukumar. Shukumar is not a stranger. Yes. right from uh uh you know the 19 uh in fact uh 79 he has been in the Congress as an MLA and also as minister for four or five times. So he he he knows the toss of the Congress party and of the legacy of the Congress and he's not taking over as a as a leader but he's taking as a Congress party with all these uh you know the legacy of the Congress party and also the governance.

[00:07:51]So he knows the nuances of the governance and I think I don't think he's a new person to take over and you know he will he will introduce new culture but at at the same time since he is a young person you know he will be in a position to uh contribute a lot of vibrancy and also the bigger in the functioning of the government.

[00:08:13]>> So then where does that leave Mr. Siddraaya? He is not inclined to come up to Delhi to take that Rajya Sabha seat as the Tobras wants him to. So what next for him?

[00:08:24]>> I think he will continue to be in Karnataka politics and uh continue to take interest in know backing up the Congress government. you know having served as a congress party had given him excellent opportunity to make him the leader of the opposition and also the as a chief minister and you know and he it's a you know tone of his uh you know the speeches and the statements particularly after he submitted his resignation and agreed to submit his resignation make it very clear that you know he he you he would like to repay the debt which he owes to the Congress party and he will fully support the government of DK Shukumar and the Congress party.

[00:09:10]>> I want to understand from you now that all of this is a done deal. Is this for the better for the Congress party or do you anticipate that it could still create some problems?

[00:09:22]>> No problem madam. letter for Congress in Karnataka. All Solomon I command and KPCC our leader Sonia Gandhi Rahul Gandhi G and K and al both our leader Sidra G and DCM Shukumar G and in charge our SJala G and Gopal well good handle is going all smooth >> after the resignation Sedaraya did make it clear that he doesn't want to go to Delhi on a Rajya Sabha ticket which means he wants to continue to play a role in state politics that could be tricky isn't So he's good but Sidra's experience and our idea is he wants Karnataka is very important politics in Sidraaya future if he resign future also Sidraaya wants future government and future Congress party >> but do you anticipate that there could be any problems in the way that DK ship Kumar is able to run the next No, no problem madam. All senior is there. Exc president Minister Peshwar is there. Siddama is there and so many senior leader is there. No problem is our DKC also very experienced leader.

[00:10:43]>> We are looking at a new era for Karnataka. one that ends a new one that begins uh with the leadership of DK Shipkumar how do you foresee the state of Karnataka to shape up are you happy I'm very happy because Sid has resigned as per the direction from Rahul Gandhi G he has resigned and new CA chief system DK shumar is coming we will all cooperate and we'll bring the good name for our Congress party madam well we will work together and in all matters we'll No internal friction.

[00:11:24]>> Everybody is happy. Madam in the Congress party always whatever high command says we will reflect and we'll be happy.

Can you hear me? uh Mahadevap Priyankar uh lots of them are asking and eyeing for the deputy chief minister's post you know now demands have started to be made openly >> madam always demand will be there in all the party madam it is their luck and I command will see whether they want to make a deputy CMR not like that they will decide madam everybody may ask I am also asking for cabinet minister 135 members are there everybody's asking include ministry also but they cannot give ministry part for everybody they will select each region wise they will select madam like that if they want to give for DC import they will finalize they will sit together and they will decide madam >> sir are you an aspirant are you an aspirant >> I am aspirant for ministry post madam not DCM post madam I very senior man >> okay so you want to have My mother also MLA.
