Wow.
>> [laughter] [music] >> I'm mesmerized with the snow right now.
Like Like what is that? I'm really under this trench coat and trees.
>> [music] >> And like the leaves are fire. I'm so Look how magical this is. It's that [music] kind of calm where you can hear the soft rustling of bamboo and your own footsteps. I was so peaceful and tranquil.
I'm in support of what I thought to see snow for the first time.
Oh my god.
Oh my god, it's snowing.
Wow.
Wow.
>> [laughter] >> Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
It's like >> [music] >> It's like fairy floss.
Oh my god.
It's cold.
Oh, what the That's what snow feel like?
Wow.
Yes.
This is so cool.
I'm going to lie, ice is pretty cold.
And we made our way [music] to Arashiyama getting to the bamboo forest around 9:00 a.m. It was so peaceful and tranquil. It's that kind of calm [music] where you can hear the soft rustling of bamboo and your own footsteps. I could have spent hours here, but by 10:00 it started filling up pretty fast, so getting there early is definitely worth it. Next we headed to Tenryu-ji Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it was even more beautiful than I expected. This temple opens up into these incredible gardens that are centered around a large pond, and it's just one of those places where everything feels [music] so intentional and balanced, but still completely natural. I absolutely loved every second of it. We also got really lucky with the weather, which I [music] think made everything feel even more surreal.
Before we headed to our next destination, which was the Golden Pavilion. This temple is completely covered in gold leaf [music] on the top two floors. It just almost doesn't look real. We walked around the temple, explored the grounds a bit, picked up some fortunes, and we got some soft serve afterwards. Then we ended the day in Gion. We decided to watch the sunset there and stop [music] into a few more shops since it was our last day in Kyoto.
>> We're at the Golden Temple now. It is so pretty. Oh my gosh, wow. Today's been so good. Beautiful.
So good.
Everywhere you look.
I'm currently in Japan next to Tokyo Skytree. [music] And if you want these views for free, follow me. Find this mall under the Tokyo Skytree. Go inside, turn left, [music] and go straight here.
Look for these elevators on the first floor.
Come out of the elevator, transfer to this elevator, come out of the elevator, turn right, and look out the window to see Tokyo's best free activity.
There's a reason they call it the endless city, and I think this is proof why. The highlights of the view for me were those train tracks and this park.
A bonus tip is go to floor 30, come out of the elevator, walk straight ahead, and you will find [music] the Tokyo Skytree.
I'm nervous and emotional right now.
Like Like what is like I'm wearing [music] on this chain walking shoes.
And like the leaves are falling and it's so emotional.
If you have ever considered visiting Mount Fuji, let this be your sign.
[music] I swear today was genuinely one of the best days of my entire life. So, come along with me as we go on a little day trip to Mount [music] Fuji. Now, this is not something you have to book ahead of time. We woke up this morning, saw that it was a beautiful day, and decided, "Hey, [music] let's go see Mount Fuji." So, we booked our bus tickets there and back. I think it was about $40 each. And this bus ride was so pleasant. The seats [music] were so nice and spacious, and the views were incredible on the way out. Of course, when we arrived, we had [music] to take some photos at the famous Lawson's convenience store. Now, one thing I didn't realize was how far away the Chureito [music] Pagoda walk was from where we got off the bus. You can actually catch a train, or you can hire bikes, which is probably [music] an easier way to do it, but we decided to actually walk. It was about an hour 15 from where we got off the bus to this walk. And once we got there, there were so many steps. This was genuinely like such a good workout. But we love walking, and honestly, no one was doing this. It was so much [music] fun just to experience the streets near Mount Fuji.
And guys, this view was absolutely breathtaking. Obviously, it was super busy, but we actually got some really good photos. And genuinely, I just could not stop pinching myself. Like, it is such a surreal moment seeing this view for the first time. Michael obviously got some fresh apple juice made from Fuji apples, and [music] he was obsessed. I'm in awe of this whole day.
Okay, bye. I'm in Tokyo, and I really wanted to go see Mount Fuji, but it's only visible 80 days out of the year.
But [music] I risked it and got on a train, and boom, there it was, staring right at me. I was so shocked. Normally, I [music] don't have the best luck when it comes to things like this. So, the first location on the itinerary was to go to the viral Lawson's. You know, where everyone gets [music] that iconic IG pic. Well, I tried to get one, but then the clouds started to come in, the Fuji was disappearing, there was buses everywhere, cars, people. For the main event of today, which [music] is climbing up to this viewpoint. I had a mochi first for energy. I was nearly feeling like I was going to have an asthma attack. [music] Boom, we made it.
Looks like something straight out of the postcard. Not going to show you guys the swarm of people in front of us waiting to get the same photo. Having to stand up for [music] 2 hours straight back home because we didn't reserve a seat.
But you know what? It was all worth it for today. Well, I may be frozen, but look how magical this is.
Yuki >> I can't say what I get you though.
You say Kyoto You may not have So she said Sakura When you get So no What she said You don't You get to what I don't I don't know what you I don't know what I don't know You get to You get to get You get to You get to So no I got you I can't say I don't You got You got to You got to So no So no You got You got to You got to You got to You got You got You got to You got to You got You got to You got to You got to
