You're going to want to come back to it and find out what tools work for you.
Number one, lengthen your exhalation. I recommend inhaling for four, exhaling for six. Do this three times, 10 times, 30 times. I practice this daily.
Two, feel your feet on the floor. Push your feet in the floor and feel yourself grounded. This helps you get out of your head and into your body.
Move the stress out. Walk, stretch, shake, dance, get the energy out.
Four, use your senses. Look around. What do you see? What do you hear?
What do you feel? Feel your pants, feel your hair, feel your shoulders.
Five, put your hand on your heart and one hand on your belly and breathe. I do this for several minutes morning, noon, and night.
Six, reduce overstimulation.
You want less noise, less screen time.
Don't have TVs on in the background.
Intense music stimulates the nervous system and you want to relax yourself and calm yourself.
Silence, light music, calm spaces.
Five, use rhythm. Humming, chanting, tapping on your high heart, or doing EFT or the emotional freedom technique, which is a tapping technique through various acupressure points.
Number eight, eat regularly and stay hydrated. Blood sugar spikes can cause you to feel anxiety, ungrounded.
Also a tip, eat protein for breakfast and eat breakfast very soon in your morning so that you can feel that grounded feeling.
Nine, be with safe people.
We regulate through relationship.
And number 10, stop overthinking.
It doesn't help. When you feel like you're in your head, I want you to get into your body. Move, dance, shake. Feel your body release with your breath and let go of the mind wheel.
