[00:01:13]You're sitting together with the perfect mathematical decision to build to build the foundation of our district's academic excellence. We are 19, but we are a community.

[00:01:29]We're going to start right now. We will break for lunch at 11:35.

[00:01:36]We will start the final rounds at 1:00 and at 1:40 we will have the awards before we go home.

[00:01:49]Remember you are making 24. You absorb part of the numbers. You're going to use your basic operations to get to 24. You are always going to start with the answer first.

[00:02:07]You must use all four numbers. Don't put any numbers behind.

[00:02:13]You can only use the numbers one time and you cannot use the same number twice.

[00:02:20]The first tap with one, two, or three fingers, not a whole hand, will be the first to solve. Wait for your table proctor to give you the nod to start because there might be it might be close. Okay, they will either point or look at you and nod you can start to solve.

[00:02:44]Now, you may want to tap quickly, but remember you tap starting within three seconds. You will get a penalty card.

[00:02:56]Penalty cards are in the boxes.

[00:02:59]If you get three penalty cards, you are done for that round. All the points that you have collected to that point will count, but you cannot complete them any further than that. Any questions about that?

[00:03:24]One dot are the easiest parts.

[00:03:28]Two dots a little more challenging.

[00:03:31]The three dots are being reserved for the semifinal.

[00:03:42]We're always together. We're going to remember that. You have to accept the judge final call without arguing with them. The high schoolers are in charge.
