So FBI obtained Proton Mail payment data through a mutual legal assistance treaty through the Swiss authorities. And that's you know again we go back to they will comply with all Swiss orders because they're a Swiss company. But the problem is EMLAT, the mutual legal assistance treaty they have with the FBI that just says we'll give you whatever you want. So all it takes is for the FBI to say, "Hey, Swiss authorities, we want this data from Proton." And they say, "Hey, Proton, we want this information."

So, you know, 2024, they got in all that information from the Swiss, the Swiss authorities got the bank card identifier, the name, flight records, arrest Atlanta, they everything that they needed to actually go and arrest this person who was an activist in the stop cop city protest movement.
