[00:00:00]What does it mean to delight? If I ask you, if I send a mic round, what does it mean to delight in God? Delight thyself in the Lord and he will give you what?

[00:00:10]The desires of the heart. This is what I was saying. Delight yourself in the Lord, he will give you what?

[00:00:17]>> Desires of your heart. So you cannot claim to be delighting in God and you don't have the desires of your heart.

[00:00:26]>> Delight yourself in the Lord, he will give you what? the desires of your heart.

[00:00:30]>> desires of your heart. So whatever it is you are hoping for, whatever dreams you have, God will give it to you when you learn the secret of what? Delighting is the number one key. The other keys, let's run through the keys again. I want to ensure that you are on track. The keys again. Number one, how do I align with God's will? One, >> two, >> three, >> four, >> five, >> delight is number five, but it's actually number one. So, let's put our energy in delight. Let's run through that. It means to call on God.

[00:01:09]Calling on him. Father, I thank you as I go today, go with me continually, not praying the morning religious prayer, talking to God. Lord, as we start this meeting, give me wisdom. Lord, I don't know what to choose in these two, but just help me, guide me on what to choose. In between your daily activities, you are talking to God continually. That's what it means to what? Delight in the Lord.

[00:01:42]Uh-huh. What does it say? Will he always call upon God? Always calling upon God, therefore, is what? delighting. Move for me the second scripture just just to second scripture. They seek me daily.

[00:01:53]They delight to know my way. The last part they take delight in approaching to God. So approaching God is what?

[00:02:03]>> So when you delight in God in your heart, you find yourself wanting to always what? Approaching. But a lot of us only speak to God on Sunday morning.

[00:02:12]A lot of only speak to God in the prayer by the bedside. We don't carry God beyond the bed.

[00:02:20]God is on your bed. You kneel down in the morning, you pray to him. You kneel down in the evening, you pray to him.

[00:02:25]The remaining days, you're just living your life talking. And you don't you don't talk to God in your things as you are doing what you are doing. You are not talking to God. You are standing at the place waiting for a vehicle. You're not talking to God. You are arguing with someone. You are getting angry. You're not talking to God. You are making a choice. You are making a decision.

[00:02:44]You're not talking to God. You are getting confused about some things. You are not talking to God. You only talk to God in church. You only talk to God by your bedside. Those things are wrong.

[00:02:53]You're not building yourself to the place where God can talk back to you. Continuous talking to God.

[00:02:59]Even as you are sitting in the hall, you can talk to God. If you say, "I'm not understanding. Lord, help me to understand." You can you can continue talking to God even without moving your lips. Keep approaching God. Keep talking to him. Commit everything to God and always tell him how you feel.

[00:03:52]Ah, this happened. Or you went home or you went somewhere. You start telling, "I went here. I did this. I saw this.

[00:03:57]Ah, I went to this place. I saw this skyscraper. I saw this thing." You talk, right?

[00:04:04]>> You don't talk to God. You're not building friendship with God. You are building formality with God. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray. Move to us.

[00:08:30]It's affectionate but there's reverence because of the word Lord. All right. So if you had said hi Lord maybe I would have because he said hi Jesus. So there's no reverence.

[00:08:42]Hi Lord is difficult. But even if you say that I will allow because Lord is reverence that means authority is there.

So when you are in a close relationship let's assume come for me this brother is PA to Dangote for instance Dangote says be my friend you are my PA you are a small boy you don't have money I'm a multi-billionaire I'm the richest man in Africa but be my friend okay so when you see him in the morning will you say how will you greet him so you want to greet him he wants you to be free how you going to be free with Dangote he's the richest man in Africa and he's your friend or maybe your father or something. How do you be free with him and maintain the reverence? How do you communicate? What will you say when you see him?

[00:13:46]Don't just talk to him like he helpless like you would talk to your dog. You know, some people talk to their dog to their fish.

[00:13:52]>> Today was good. I don't know what happened, you know. So, talk to him. But don't forget that he is Lord. So, reverence him. Then don't forget that he has all power. So, ask him.

[00:14:06]>> And he he is so gentle is understatement. Meek, >> he tries not to give you what you don't ask. He tries just like we say be a gentle man. He's not gentlemanly to say do you need a car? Do you need money? Do you need It's not gentlemanly like somebody may feel you are insulting me. Why are you I don't need things. Why are you asking me? You know, so a man who is wealthy will sometime refrain himself waiting for you to ask because if he asks to give to you, you may consider he wants something. Maybe he wants an affair with me or maybe he's trying to introduce me to a cult or something. Why does he want to give me all these things? So he rather refrain himself. It's called meekness. So many times God holds back in his meekness waiting for us to ask.

[00:15:38]Deliver us from evil. Uh-huh. And he said unto them, which of you, now Jesus is talking. He speaks in parables, >> but listen.

[00:15:48]Which of you having a friend shall go to him at midnight, 12 midnight, and say to him, "Friend, lend me three loaves of bread." Why? For one of my friends came to me in his journey and I have nothing to give him. You know when you travel for long you'll be so hungry and he from within the one inside. So let's dramatize so they can understand.

[00:16:13]All right. This is the friend that came from outside and this is the friend that visited him. So he has a visitor. He has nothing to give him.

[00:16:35]>> This friend came to him knowing what he doesn't have. Dependency is based on my acknowledgment of my weakness.

[00:16:45]I don't It's not in me. I don't have. So look at what he says. I have nothing to set before him. So he went to his friend, left the guy at home. Stay at home. I'm coming. I have nothing to give you. He went and he's knocking here.

[00:17:03]A friend of mine is come and I have nothing to set before him. What does he ask for? Verse five. What's he asking for?

[00:18:04]The Bible say there's a friend that sits closer than a brother. So friendship is the highest level of relationship.

[00:18:10]>> What you may not tell your brother, your sister, your wife, your husband, you tell your friend. That's why your wife should be your friend. Your husband should be your friend. Are you understanding?

[00:18:18]Now he didn't get off though he was his friend yet because of his importunity. What's important to eat? Answer him again.

[00:19:14]Now I want you to see the concept both I I prayed nothing happened. Look at you >> consistently.

[00:19:35]>> Don't say God is my friend. I am a friend. No God he calls me friend. Look at your life. A lot of things God should do for you is not doing it.

[00:19:46]>> The level you should go, you are not going because you say, "I am a friend of God." God says, "I don't give you things because of your friend. I want you to what? Persist. I want you to ASK ME. I WANT YOU to be bold to me. I want you to hold me to my word. I want you to insist. Lord, YOU SAID IT. I'M GOING to fast till you give it. I'm going to pray all night till you give it. I'm going to start six days of praise until you give it." Do insist. Persist.

[00:20:10]believers just do a little and they say no I just love God I just worship God is enough for me what about that next phase >> Jesus says use importunity >> ask him learn to ask God to push him to do what he wants he loves it was Jesus who taught us he said because of his impunity he will rise and give him as many as he needs therefore I say to you, >> ask, >> ask.

[00:20:42]>> So your father is looking at you. A lot of my children are satisfied with where they are. They don't ask me for more.

[00:20:48]They don't push for nations. They don't push for for big things. They just I love you, Lord.

[00:20:56]>> Son, you are satisfied where you are. I can't force you for more. But I have more and I don't give more until you ask until you pressure me. Hold me to my word.

[00:21:09]>> Lord, why do you wait for us to have importunity? Why do you wait for us to ask you and pressure you and stand on your word? Because without faith is impossible to please God.

The third time the one day I just remember I was in that mood I said please quickly get this thing let me transfer this money to this person and she said I've gotten their thank you sir that was that's the right I beg what was the zone every day no someone who really wants to help you is happy to see your your reminder >> yes sir >> we're not talking about pressure reminder in a very consistent way God says remind me it's an act of faith I believe you are going to do this for me I believe what you said you're going to keep to it I'm going to remind you until you do it.

[00:24:45]God is not training you only to give you things. No, he's training you to know how to insist in life, how to persist in life, how to stand on what you are going to get and get it done.

But there's talking to him, calling on him, calling on him, communicating with him, and then as you are talking to him, learning to talk to him, especially in your thoughts. If you're going to pray 1 hour, use 40 minutes to pray, 20 minutes to be still. The reason you don't hear from God is because you only talked and cut the call.

So when we pray now when I say praying now I want you to focus on what you are praying and when you are true with the praying I'm going to tell you to be silent to be still it becomes easy because you were already controlling your mind this mind is always flying to 1,000 places at once it goes here it goes here it goes there it goes there so you grab it and keep it where you are praying James 5 says he prayed in his prayer that's what the Greek says in James chapter 5 verse 16 that he prayed in his prayer. That means he was involved in his praying. Don't pray with your mouth and your mind is not involved. Involve your mind in your praying. So we're going to do that. Are you ready? Yes sir.

[00:51:05]This is my next level. I see it happening. I decree it. I declare it and I'm praying. I'm speaking in the spirit and I'm looking at the building. I'm not going to look at my neighbor. I'm not going to look at a car. I'm not going to remember what happened yesterday. Those are the indicipline that are affecting the prayer. Yes, sir. So, Satan will want your mind to wander everywhere. You refuse.
