Taking out my Birth ControlAdded:
Y'all, right now me and V is at one of my doctor's appointment. I came for just a checkup and to tell them that I wanted to start trying for a baby, thinking that we'd have to schedule an appointment to come back and do it, but uh they said we can get my birth control out today. So, y'all, today is the day.
I'm going to get my birth control taken out.
>> It's been 30 days, no birth control.
>> Hold on. I was looking so [ __ ] weird out.
>> Oh, [ __ ] >> Quick little update y'all. It's been a little over two months since I done got my birth control taken out and I never finished a video. So, first of all, in this 2 and 1/2 months, and listen carefully, in this two and a half months since my birth control been off, I have gained 11 lbs. I have had five periods.
Five in two and a half months. Five periods. And I didn't realize before getting off birth control, I've been on birth control since I was 17. Mind you, I'm 30 years old now. I never had period symptoms leading into my cycle come on.
I would get a little cramp right beforehand. Within an hour, my cycle on is on for 3 days and I'm good to go. As of now, my cycles are full 5 days. I have had enlarged breasts. I have had back cramps. I have had cramps just in general. I have had the mood swings and I've had an increase in appetite. I've gained 11 pounds since the birth control came out.
Also, the other day, this actually made me happy. We all know my lips are questionable, but my skin is perfection.
I don't break out. I got this little bump, which freaked me out cuz I thought bumps in the chin area mean you stressed. I don't allow stress in my life, so there's no reason I should have stress bumps on my face. I went and Googled it again. This is considered a jawline breakout, which means hormonal changes are happening, which makes me feel good because I feel like my body just been trying to regulate and my doctor told me give it six months for my body to regulate because again, I also was not educated on the fact that I had a hormonal birth control. I specifically went IUD at the age that I did because I thought it was hormonal free and I didn't want to have nothing all that up in my body. I found out upon getting it removed that my birth control contained the same medicine that they use in Plan B. And I have had that in my body for almost 10 years. I had no idea. But I'm happy today because of this breakout.
That's a sign of hormonal changes. And I just feel like that's a good sign that my body finally regular and on track.
And my cycle was supposed to come on 3 days ago. It did not. So that kind of makes me feel good because I'm feeling like it's not every two weeks cuz my cycle been coming on every two weeks. I feel like I'm actually have a regular cycle this time which means my chances of conceiving has increased. And these is what I've been taking cuz I never explain my vitamins to y'all. I take prenatal folic acid, B12, and a everyday multivitamin and an iron supplement. That's the vitamins that I've been taking. I've been taking them since I got the birth control taken out. And I don't know, still my body's still adjusting to everything. But that's just a little update, y'all. My birth control has been out for two and a half months. Soccer came on five times, gained 11 pounds, and I now have chin acne.
