This footage offers a visceral masterclass in hydrological volatility, demonstrating how rapidly rising water tables can render traditional property defenses obsolete in hours. It is a sobering reminder that environmental shifts often outpace our infrastructure's capacity for resilience.

Part 2- Imminent Danger as the Water has Raised another 2 Feet Overnight!Añadido:
Well, today it's underwater continuing to be on the rise.
Got a couple sandbags down.
Massive destruction.
All right, guys. I would not normally be coming to you from the flooded north, but hey, mother nature has a way of saying uh where you're going to be at.
Um cyclone giveaway. We are waiting for the lawyer to get back to us uh with the winner. So, it is in their hands. Um we expect that they're going to reach out to us in the next couple days and we will have that for you. In the meantime, there's a lot of fresh merch dropped on the website. Get over to siktomag.com, grab like this hoodie. It's a limited edition deal. So, we've got some limited edition stuff coming out. You can go grab that stuff off the website and hey, I'll take you to the flooded north.
All right, guys. What a difference a day makes. Um the wall, which is here had about 6 in or so to go yesterday before it would be underwater.
Well, today it's underwater.
Uh neighbor's got some sandbags. I just picked up some sandbags I'm going to put around low part of the cottage, but you can see where this is now. Um, over by the dam. I mean, I'm trying to see if there's any signs of it like dropping. I mean, I guess I'll be able to watch this area right here. They said they have the dam cleared out, but this area right here, I mean, I would say that you got about an inch before it starts going over there. Um, obviously their patio and everything over here is underwater.
Uh, or patio, their deck underwater. All of that it's creeping up in between the cottages here.
Um, yesterday, yesterday I could walk down here and film all this. Um, can't today. I got boots on that me go a little bit further, but it's definitely continuing to be on the rise. Um, I'll show you right now is my well pump. It's in a pit and um, I'm going to have to pump that out at some point. And I might have to pull the well if it continues to continues to fill. But yeah, definitely uh still rising. And just to think of the amount of water that's coming here because as the lake keeps getting higher, it takes more and more water to cover this cover the amount of ground.
And uh man, just keeps coming and just coming from Pine Creek or Pine River, whatever you want to call it. Um just hope that that dam stays flowing and that spillway works to try and keep up with uh what's going on here. But um got a couple sandbags down.
So picked up a like I said a load of them.
Just uh this part of the this part of the cottage is lower than the other part. So we'll see. Not that it may do any good, but I'll put some around here.
All right, new contention point is that the water table is obviously getting high that our well is it's an above ground well, but it's submersed into the ground. Um, and it's a sand bottom to it. So water normally if there's any water whatever that gets in there like from disconnecting pipes or anything it just drains straight down in while the water is coming up through the ground which tells you where the water table's at in the area that we're literally getting close that I actually have the pump turned off right now and I'm going to take the shop back and I mean just I don't don't know that I can keep up with it because that's the water table. I just want to suck some of the water out of there and see see if it does anything. At some point, I'm just going to have to pull the pull the pump out of there um before it goes bad. But it'll be uh that'll be the end of uh having running water for sure.
Completely underwater. Completely underwater. You can see a dock section or a swing floating out there.
I mean in these cottages have probably been here for hundred years. Never flooded.
Just horrible.
All right, here's another spot was yesterday. and um how much higher it is up on the first floor of this cottage down here.
So, you can see it through there. I mean, the first floor is completely I'd say 3/4 underwater. More debris in there. And I mean, the second floor is above, but I mean, more than likely they're more than likely utilities and stuff are in the basement or in the first floor. So yeah, I don't can't say crazy enough, but I mean just horrible.
All right, here's where I was yesterday and I believe I mean this guy was outside and yeah, I think I parked over here somewhere.
And now, I mean, his house obviously is flooded. Looks like his secondary garage or whatever right there is okay as of right now, but I mean it's just man, there's generators underwater back there.
I mean, that house, that garage over there, I'll try and go around to the other side. There was the garage over there had the VW in it. Um, but I mean these houses are just flat underwater.
Um, and I mean it goes I mean it's probably I'm probably standing on the road in 10 in of water right now. So, I just can't imagine once the once the water goes down too, like I mean, what's the wash out going to be like when the water goes down? But I noticed when I was pulling up too, like that right around right around these trees, then this house is underwater.
I mean, look at this. I mean, look at their you know how deep it is by looking at their air conditioner um compressor or whatever right there. But the garage is okay, but the house is just completely underwater.
I mean, just look at that all the way back there. And I mean, yeah, you're probably talking they got at least a foot or so of water inside that house right now.
the other side of that house there that I mean just disaster. I mean and crazy. So, yeah, that's that area that went to. Um, I guess I'll go take a look at the creek, kind of revisit the areas that um that was at yesterday. So, you can just see the change in just 24 hours on how everything looks now. Cuz I mean, this was easily drive-thru, but you can see that mailbox right there. Probably 3T tall. Maybe it's a foot out of the water. So, I mean, my truck could probably go through there, but I don't want to be the idiot and get stuck in there either.
All right, guys. The Pine River was here yesterday. This is what dumps in there.
And I I actually am going to say that I think this is a positive sign. I think this is lower than yesterday. So, you kind of see water marks. You can kind of see watermarks on the trees.
And I kind of feel like I kind of feel like this is down.
I definitely feel like this is down from what was yesterday what it looked like here. And it seems like it's flowing slower.
um could be a figment. But yeah, I think yesterday the water was up above and it was all inside those trees and maybe I mean that that leaf line on that um on the bank right there might be a sign of that's how high it was because those leaves are washed away.
So, I take that as another positive that maybe maybe we've hit the peak and it's going to uh and it is starting to uh starting to recede.
All right. Now, this I I would hope is maybe a good sign because it actually looks like the water may have been over the road and now it's not.
So, I mean, does that mean it's going down?
I mean, that's cuz it definitely looks like at one point it was over top of the road. The fact it's going looks like it's going down. I mean, that would be a a positive sign, but I mean, there's obviously still a lot of water backlog that way. You actually have I mean, once again, lake over there and house on this side.
also on this side with their barn flooded back there.
I mean, this must be some sort of creek or something that runs through here, but all right, here's another area that did not exist yesterday. Um, as far as the water coming up and over the road, um, currently it looks like that house is safe. Um, but I mean, here's this just a lot of debris and everything from the water. I mean, this is the same thing that we're dealing with at the dam is that all this stuff makes its way down to the dam because it's stuff that normally would not normally would not be in the lake.
And so they got to keep the dam clean so that the water can flow out of it. But I mean it's just a a new spot.
All right. So this is an area that wasn't even flooded yesterday. But if you can see there's a house back there that I mean that's all underwater. I mean this part of the road wasn't flooded. You can see this house garage underwater.
House underwater.
You got the ducks swimming over here.
They're pumping. I think there's a problem with the water mane or something that they're pumping down there. But I mean like this one you can see they've got you see they have steps going up to their house and the water you can't tell that there's any steps. I mean, it's just literally right up to the door.
Just massive, massive destruction.
And and almost and talk to some of the people too, like I mean, we weren't required to have flood insurance cuz this isn't a flood area. Like I mean, this is high enough up a damn controlled lake um wouldn't flood. So you see here that their house is up a little bit. So they got water around it, but it's okay. But next to it, I mean, this house is This house is underwater up to the door there. That one looks like it's on a taller foundation. So currently okay. Um what we haven't seen is the water's not currently coming up, but um but it's also not going down right now. By the dam could see some places where it looks like it had been going down, but here like I mean there's one spot on my patio that I could look at. It's the same. And we're supposed to get more rain tonight. So, the goal would be that it goes down so that if it comes up tonight with the rain that it wouldn't be too high, but just crazy all the water.
And I mean, who knows what's in everybody's pole barn. And I mean, you can see it all the way back there that that stuff's all flooded and going to go down the road further, which is where we were yesterday, um, where the road had started to flood and some of the houses were underneath.
So, this is just on the other side of that puddle where I was and didn't realize that the house is on the other side of the road. Lakes over there and obviously we have all those. This is the other side of the street and everything flooded. You got a guy mucking it back to his barn back there.
I mean, there's just crazy. This road here's flooded out and Yeah.
Same thing. Looks like they have a basement down there. They obviously have some sandbags there. Oh, that's a door for like the walk-in. I mean, boat house is gone. But I guess the only positive is you can see a water line that's up above where everything's at right now.
So, let's just hope that that continues to drain.
All right. So, yesterday when I was here, it was about a foot from going over the spillway. Now, you can see it's full bar over the spillway. They've obviously brought in equipment to try and keep the dam clear. Um I mean basically it looks like the one side is whether it's going under like if that I don't know if that dam's closed or and barely going under but uh the one guy one guy that's here said that it was 2 foot up higher um just came down and I guess you can see a little bit of water line here but I mean you can see some fish actually trying to go up it but Yeah, the hope is that the creek here stays lower than the lake line and then obviously the lake will keep draining.
But you can see sheds and boat houses and everything underwater over there.
So a lot higher than it was yesterday.
This house was completely dry and everything was down a lot lower than it.
Obviously, that's now all underwater.
It would have made it up to your house.
Now, this is you, right?
>> That's me. And it hadn't gotten inside yet.
>> Okay.
>> And now that we got the dam going full bore there again. You can see where it's starting to recede on my barn.
>> Oh, yeah. It looks like about an inch down.
>> Yeah. You can see, look at the doors and stuff around where it's starting to recede.
I got a Corvette in the garage >> in this one. This one?
>> No. And I just have a little Super Mustang that I had in this one. I'm glad I got rid of it.
>> Right. Dang.
>> Well, hopefully it continues to go down now. Would be the >> Oh, God. I'm praying.
Yeah, you can see like he said, if you look at the line, it looks like it's dropped about an inch. Um, so hopefully we've reached the hopefully we've reached the summit and it'll go down, but they are calling for rain tonight and tomorrow night. Um, he had mentioned about the dam finally getting cleared and opened up where we just were. Uh, obviously that spillway hopefully keeps flowing faster than it's coming in would be the goal.
All right, guys. to now Osabo. So basically same place yesterday. I mean it really looks like it's probably flowing about the same about the same as yesterday. Height looks height looks the same. I mean I don't know if could see the I mean I feel like maybe the water was even higher. So I mean maybe we've gone down a little bit.
Obviously, that whole thing's still flooded over there. Um, over on the other side of the street, you have that uh the store, which is where you take go tubing and take your tubes out. Um, I noticed when I was getting out of the truck that that definitely looks like it is still underwater, unfortunately, but same thing. Looks like maybe it's uh looks like it's possibly a little lower on the building than it was.
um than it was yesterday, but for the most part, I mean, the flood rate flood rate looks the same. Um but all right, so that'll be a wrap on today's video. I actually have the drone, so tomorrow I'm going to get the drone out. We'll see what the situation is with how everything looks in the morning. I'm really hoping the water goes down and I'm going to show you some uh receding shoreline, but time will tell.
