[00:00:13]But first we let's have a look on the highlights of upcoming 7 days weather forecast, particularly active monsoon conditions that is likely over North Western and North East India during next 4 to 5 days. Also possibility of isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with isolated extremely heavy falls likely over Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh during on 20th and the 21st of July over Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam and Meghalaya during next 24 hours, that is today on 20th of July.

[00:00:43]Apart from that, subdued rainfall activity likely to continue over West Central and South Peninsular India during next 7 days. If we talk about the past 24 hours, we realized weather isolated extremely heavy rainfall, that is rainfall more than 20 cm or more than that observed isolated pockets of Meghalaya as well as Uttarakhand. Heavy to very heavy rainfall, that is rainfall in the range of 7 to 20 cm has observed at isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura and Mizoram, South Interior Karnataka.

[00:01:19]Also heavy rainfall observed isolated pockets of Jammu Kashmir, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, North Interior Karnataka. If we talk about the weather system, monsoon trough at mean sea level to the passes through Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak, Hardoi, Varanasi, Daltonganj, Punjab, Tiga, then South Eastward towards North East Bay of Bengal and extend up to 0.9 km above mean sea level. Apart from that, there are several cyclonic circulation trough in different parts of the country. Due to this weather system, we are anticipating heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with isolated extremely heavy falls likely over Western Himalayan region, that is Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, also over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Meghalaya and so red alert has been issued for these pockets. Looking at the impact particularly over Meghalaya with possibility of very heavy rainfall activity, red alert has been issued.

[00:02:11]Also there is possibility of very heavy rainfall activity over northern parts of Haryana, Punjab, also Jharkhand and sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim as well as Gujarat region. So, orange alert has been issued. Possibility of heavy rainfall over parts of central India particularly Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, also adjoining parts of Rajasthan as well as Arunachal Pradesh and southern peninsula if you look at particularly Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh as well as Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra. So, yellow alert has been issued for these sub-pockets. Strong surface wind likely to continue over some parts of northern peninsula particularly over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for next 5 days. The interior Karnataka also 3 to 4 days. So, yellow alert has been issued on day two that is 21st of July. The extremely heavy rainfall likely to continue over parts of Jammu Kashmir as well as Himachal Pradesh. So, red alert has been issued. However, very heavy rainfall activity possibility is there over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, eastern Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand. Also over Konkan as well as Madhya Maharashtra, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura and Mizoram. So, orange alert has been issued for these subdivisions due to possibility of heavy rainfall activity over Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand. Yellow alert has been issued for these subdivisions and strong surface wind continue over Karnataka as well as some parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. If you talk about the day three, 22nd of July, heavy to very heavy rainfall activity possibility is there over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh. So, orange alert has been issued for these subdivisions.

[00:03:55]Also Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra likely to experience very heavy rainfall activity. Orange alert issued for this subdivision. Heavy rainfall possibility over the Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh as well as Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya as well as Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura. So, yellow alert has been issued. Day four, that is 23rd of July, looking at the possibility of very heavy rainfall activity, orange alert has been issued for Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy rainfall possibility is there over Madhya Pradesh, also Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya as well as Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra. So, yellow alert has been issued for this subdivision. On day five, that is 24th of July, heavy rainfall possibility is there over particularly Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh as well as Rajasthan, some parts of like Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya as well as like Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura and Konkan as well as Madhya Maharashtra. So, yellow alert has been issued for these subdivisions. On day six, heavy rainfall possibility is there over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, also Uttar Pradesh as well as East Rajasthan, Gujarat, also Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan and Chhattisgarh. So, yellow alert has been issued for Northeastern state, particularly Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh likely to experience isolated heavy rainfall activity. On day seven, heavy rainfall possibility over Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh. So, yellow alert has been issued.
