Data center development often involves the abuse of eminent domain and corporate influence to acquire private property at below-market values, displacing long-term residents and communities while creating significant environmental and utility cost burdens for local populations.

DATA CENTERS AND THE THEFT OF PRIVATE PROPERTYAdded:
Hello America, Dave Hodges is your host of the Common Sense Show. We are the show freeing America one enslaved mind at a time.
I want to talk to you about a company where there's a great investment opportunity. I want to say this off the top and up front.
What they're doing is an honest use of land.
They pay what they should be paying and they perform and do what they say they're going to do.
And I'm talking about the good people at Kirkstone.
And ladies and gentlemen, this what's going on right now with data centers is ridiculous. This company is the antithesis of the misuse of that land and we're so glad to be able to bring this to you. And let me bring up the graphic here.
Kirkstone Metals. And what they're looking at here is uranium, which is high-tech military application.
It's absolutely needed for society. You like your cell phone? Okay, well, you're going to like this.
And right now you got a ground floor opportunity.
Uh, they are a $10 million company playing in a $250 million uh business.
The average company, but they're in early. They have two 100% owned Athabasca Basin uranium projects. The government is throwing money in this like crazy. $2.7 billion allocated earlier this year and we have a 98% deficit in uranium.
We only produce 2%. Well, they're about to change that. And so this is absolutely fantastic what's going on with this and you're in on the ground floor and because it's a smaller company, it's an easier in. This is a great investment. But don't take my word for it. I want you to go watch a free video. Go to ksm-presentation.com/thecommonsenseshow.
The words the Common Sense Show in that URL have dashes between each word.
That's ksm-presentation.com/thecommonsenseshow with dashes with the commonsense show.
Hey, look at this. Give it serious consideration.
Okay, we're going to take a look here in this segment at data centers and the theft of property rights. And I do mean it's theft. You go in, you grease some county commissioners, the mayor, whoever, and guess what happens? Boom!
You are out of your home.
A home that you may have owned for your family for over 200 years.
In Coweta County, Georgia, the data center called Project Sale committed eminent domain against 330 properties.
These [snorts] people are fighting with a lawsuit, but if they grease the county commissioners, they're going to grease the judge.
They're not going to win.
I'm lucky I didn't have my property rights dispute in this day and age, and I'm glad it started 23 years ago.
Cuz had it not, it'd been today, I'd be out of my home.
Maybe I'd be in a detention center camp in Utah or homeless.
The loss of property rights. Okay, listen to this. Project Sale, a $17 billion data mining center, poised on 370 acres, stealing the land below market value for 330 properties.
Lake Tahoe.
These people are going to lose their homes in great numbers.
It's a de facto move, and I got to tell you, Blackstone, BlackRock, and all the other private equities that are waiting to gobble up homes so they can turn them into rentals, they're just licking their chops on this. I told you about Lake Tahoe, and I'm going to give you a little more detail on this.
49 to 50,000 people in Lake Tahoe have been told by NV Energy that as of May 2027 you're going to experience a 75% power cut. Now, hold on. I looked into the bylaws on this.
These people don't have a choice on where they get power.
And the NV Energy is going to maintain 25% of the allocation for the power.
Are they They They've been told they got to get alternative sources, but if they're prevented from doing it and because the company is still providing a measure of service how many people are going to lose their homes? Well, you would say what's 25% of 50,000?
Right?
That's de facto, we're going to kick you out of your home kind of stuff. This is called the catch-22 of data centers. This is absolutely amazing that this would go on. And And where's the governor of Nevada?
Where are the politicians protecting people? Lake Tahoe's colder than hell. I know, cuz I got married in November there.
Uh and we we did Well, we did our honeymoon there.
Pretty amazing, isn't it?
Pretty amazing.
You know, we were actually talking about uh when we get to our 40th we go back and um do us like a second honeymoon there.
Well, yeah. We're not getting any power.
And you know what the 25% is going to go for? I'm going to tell you right now.
What's it going to go for? And I'll give you a clue. When you watch an NBA game, if you do that what's the commercial you see?
DraftKings. More betting. More betting.
More betting. More betting. You know what they should show in those DraftKings commercials? Not people having fun betting.
People that lose their spouse, their family, their house, their job because of their gambling addiction. Anyway, I digress. Let's go back to the who's going to get the 25%?
I don't know for sure, but common sense tells me the casinos that are there. Oh, yes, they have a lot of casinos in Lake Tahoe.
They're the ones who are going to get the power.
The 49,000 residents are in trouble, big trouble. Okay, the third group is in Utah.
Oh my goodness.
I used to think Kevin O'Leary was an interesting guy. Shark Tank, here's someone with a good idea, let's see if he'll fund it, take people from rags to riches, promote the idea, and that what a cool idea. I thought it was great. And I thought he was actually a pretty good guy trying to share his expertise by helping the average person. Kind of like paying a debt to society that made him rich.
>> [snorts] >> No, this billionaire wants to become a trillionaire. This is so disgusting what he is doing.
And it's disgusting on a professional level that I'll talk about here in a second with property rights and what's going to happen to the resources, but it's also disgusting on what he's doing to people who are arguing against him.
And how the con network controlled opposition network, uh otherwise aka called Fox News Kool-Aid drinkers. Yeah, this uh few Okay, let me get right to it. Kevin O'Leary, he's been deeded and a lot of people have lost their property, and I don't have an exact amount, but you know a lot [clears throat] of people lost property.
Listen to this.
His data center is going to be the size of DC.
62 square miles.
But wait, that's not the end of it.
They also need another 62 acres to supply the power.
That's 124 square miles. That's twice the size of DC.
It's the largest in the US right now. I guarantee it won't stay that way.
Okay, now here's what's happened.
There is two gals, they're liberals, they promote Democratic causes. So it's okay, but I find them hilarious. So I actually went to their channel and watched them. They're funny. You girls are entertaining.
I mean, you'd be fun to have lunch with even if we don't agree politically, we'd be laughing a lot.
Uh they came out in opposition to this for good reason.
And they're pulling out the stops, exposing the chicanery about stealing property rights. Oh, excuse me, paying below market value. Let me be more accurate. Uh basically uh abusing the taxpayer by you pay for our electricity, you pay for our water, and we'll leave you with less water than we started, and the pollution levels are off the charts with this. And so they're exposing all this.
Kevin O'Leary in his suit goes on Fox News in his sandals. Kind of hard to take a guy seriously that's doing that. But anyway, he's there and he's calling these two gals, and I would say they're probably early 30s, and they're Caucasian females.
He was calling them Chinese spies designed to undermine the grid of the United States.
And they're working in conjunction with the Chinese government.
Um gals, why don't you do a GoFundMe and raise the money and sue the crap out of this guy for defamation?
Kevin O'Leary is disgusting.
He's not any different than any other technocrats. I mean, he can't tell you what a price of eggs cost.
He probably doesn't know what the present price of a gallon of gasoline is because he doesn't live in our world.
And the fact that he's getting away with slander and defamation against these ladies is for opposing this. This is ridiculous.
But he I'll put it to you bluntly. In my opinion, he's greasing all the politicians and he's going to get his way.
Can you believe that? 62 acres for the facility and another 62 to supply the energy that the people of Utah are going to pay for. Now, there's more. There's more weight.
The facility is going to produce nine gigs of power. It's going to use nine gigs of power.
All of Utah, where it's located, only uses four gigs.
So, they're using 225% more power than the entire state of Utah.
What do you think's going to happen to your utility bills? Let Let's just do the math.
If they're using that much new utility electricity, well, my goodness, you're going to have to charge 225% more.
So, you people in Utah, you know, hold on to your wallets cuz there goes your money flying right out for Kevin O'Leary.
Uh they produce, according to the EPA report, 35 tons of estimated carbon emission, making it the most polluted place in the country.
So, I guess we're not concerned about climate change anymore. Why don't we just close the EPA and save a couple billion dollars?
And [snorts] by the way, the energy source they're going to use the other 62 square miles are floating solar panels.
The Great Salt Lake. I'm not I couldn't make this up. I thought they were kidding when I when I found this.
It's just absolutely phenomenal. Well, anyway, to sum up here, uh we've got the loss of property rights in Coweta County, Georgia, Lake Tahoe, and of course uh Utah.
Uh power usage is off the charts, pollution's off the charts, and um the land use is negative, the utility bills in Utah are going to skyrocket as a result.
And so, is this just Dave Hodges ranting? I don't know. Well, let's see what the Bible has to say about this, okay? Relevant scripture, Micah 2 -2.
They covet fields and seize them and houses and take them.
They defraud people of their homes. They rob them of their inheritance.
I'd say that's a really accurate description for Coweta County, Georgia, Lake Tahoe, and Utah, and other places around the country I didn't have time to cover.
There's one more biblical phrase here that I think applies, Proverbs 22:28.
Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.
Remember what I said about Georgia, some of those homes in the families for 200 years plus? Yeah. That's pretty upsetting, isn't it? Really upsetting.
Okay, application of the scripture.
Eminent domain used primarily for corporate benefit rather than true public good raises serious justice concerns. God cares about protecting people's homes and inheritance. Okay, so these people in the data centers, they're working against what the Bible teaches.
Leaders are supposed to be servants.
Remember the parable, not parable, the story where at the Last Supper, Jesus washed the feet of the disciples.
That's servant mentality.
These people view you as slaves, and they will take everything from you they they to get what they want.
It's not biblical, it's evil, it's satanic. I'm Dave Hodges, this is the Common Sense Show.
