Atlanta’s World Cup Stadium Has a Camera-Shutter Roof

[00:00:00]Welcome to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the only camera lens opening stadium in the world or one of the few, I think, and it hosts FIFA World Cup for Atlanta, Georgia. And then it actually was designed by the company I worked at I worked before, Buro Happold, British firm. This is only camera lens stadium design and it was made to open up.

[00:00:27]And the Atlanta Falcons play here, but many games are going to be played here for the World Cup.

[00:00:35]So, this should be exciting, state-of-the-art, and yeah, one of the more expensively designed stadiums out there. It's truly one of a kind of its architecture. And as you can see, this is the back of Martin Luther King. This city was made big thanks to the civil rights movements and what Dr. King has has done and accomplished.
