[00:00:46]Just something a little bigger. These are I'm kind of trying things out, so whatever. Uh, put that on. Um, we got something else.

[00:00:54]Let's open the box real quick or I'll just show you what it is and we don't have to worry about it. We don't even see the box being opened. Let me just show it to you. It is our headlights. I I'm blowing my own mind by buying headlights for McNugget.

[00:01:11]Spending money that um you know I could use for other stuff cuz I have some stock headlights. I mean they look like crap but I have them. But I don't know.

[00:01:25]I'm going for a whole there's a whole like vibe thing that I'm going for with McNugget and uh I just I I can't do the stock headlight thing or I got to have the smoked headlights. How about that?

[00:01:40]I mean, yeah, these, you know, whatever.

[00:01:42]Look all right. I like them better than stock. I don't really mind the one piece. I know some people ah one piece I hate that one piece, but eh, they don't bother me. I think they look okay. So, all right. That's it. That's what we got in the mail. So, uh, see you guys in the next clip.

[00:02:18]So, We're going to clean this up to where I'd like to say factory fresh, but I don't want to brag. But, um, yeah.

[00:02:39]And for anyone that's curious, this is how we do every single one of them. For every cylinder head that's been put on these cars, you're looking at the process. This right here, garbage.

[00:02:54]I tell pirate this all the time. Don't overthink it. Don't overthink stuff. You just make it complicated.

[00:03:38]Now, we'll I mean, we'll bolt this junk together and we'll change the oil, you know, we'll start it up and then we'll run it for a tiny bit, then we'll change the oil and put a new filter on it and we'll be good to go. I don't know what the big deal is.

[00:03:58]This thing's been sitting in a piece of crap Mustang in the yard with an intake laying on it.

[00:04:12]This little bit of stuff that we're doing ain't going to hurt a damn thing.

[00:04:25]Not so much this cylinder. This cylinder some good. Still got good plenty of crosshatch in it. That one does. This one does. Shoot. This thing's going to run.

[00:04:39]I got a lot of confidence in McNugget this time.

[00:04:46]All right. Uh maybe we'll look at doing the oil pan now. Also, while we're here, let's go ahead. I already cleaned the uh already cleaned the hole out.

[00:05:03]This isn't like really required, I don't guess, but I put it in anyway.

[00:05:12]It's a form of gasket, non-h hardener.

[00:05:22]Boom.

[00:05:24]And just like that, sealed that [ __ ] up like a anthrax envelope.

[00:05:33]So, here's the dealio.

[00:05:35]Without the rail, the bolts are too long. And we can't put a rail on the one side because the kick out on the oil pan, we have to go through. So, I can put factory bolts all the way around and use a rail. And then on the other side, I have to have different bolts for this end, these two, and then the ones that run up the uh five that run up through here. It actually doesn't put a bolt in every hole. So, and we'll put some RTV and all that stuff on it, too. But I need to find some bolts that are a little bit shorter. Let me go inside and rustle through the bolt pile. We dug through the bolt pile. These are all brand new bolts. I'm pretty sure like Jake got me some a bunch of bolts for Christmas one year. And this just happened to be the ones that I found in our one of our mini bolt buckets that we're going to use. We put a little RTV on the uh end pieces.

[00:06:42]And just for good measure, I know this I don't need to do this, but I can't help myself.

[00:06:51]Put a little bit on pan.

[00:06:57]Now I don't need to do this.

[00:07:15]Okay.

[00:07:17]Slide a rail on.

[00:07:21]See if we can get the This thing was actually missing one of the 1/2 inch bolts.

[00:07:39]uh from the timing cover.

[00:07:44]I got to get a 7/16.

[00:08:00]All right, I'm going to finish putting these bolts in. Then I have to spin the I have to flip the motor over and run these bolts up through the top. That's how the pros do a skid mark. And we put us a little extra RTV. We're leak free at this point. I also threw a bolt in the uh for the oil dipstick tube because we'll be using the one in the pan and we won't be using that one. All right, let's talk about what happened. We got the oil pan on and we had a bolt drop in the pan from the side. We had to They're stainless so it don't matter m couldn't get it out. So, I take the freaking pan back off. I can't find my camera to see anything. I have no idea where it is. I have no idea. I've tore the shop apart looking for it. I am at this moment completely infuriated with McNugget and the dirty pickle.

[00:08:54]Completely infuriated with both of these things. I am so mad. So, what are we going to do?

[00:09:01]Well, we got to put the effing oil pan back on. This time I'm going to put I've got a some studs. I'm going to put some studs in that side and then run the nuts on.

[00:09:12]God, I'm pissed. I am pissed.

[00:09:16]Cars. Got our studs in. Now we throw the pan on and bolt this garbage back together, I guess. Roll it over.

[00:09:27]Nuts on.

[00:09:30]man. Oh wow. What's up, tree frog?

[00:09:34]Damn it. Okay, we got the oil pan on.

[00:09:36]That went way smoother than the uh first attempt. I mean, I I can't remember. I'm pretty sure I've always used studs cuz I've done this four or five times now with these oil pans. And uh anyway, I will never do it without studs again.

[00:09:54]That's a fact. I just ain't going to do it like it's just so much easier. Um so anyway, we got it. We got it on and and that's what frustrates me, the easy stuff. That should have been super easy, but it turned into a complete pain in the rear nightmare type deal.

[00:10:09]I just don't need that aggravation. So, um but if if Nugs didn't fight me a little bit, I I I would think he'd gone soft, and we know that hadn't happened.

[00:10:19]So, anyway, um that's it. Tomorrow, we'll try and put the heads in, maybe put the lifters in, put the heads on, maybe do some other stuff. So, anyway, thanks for commenting, thanks for subscribing.
