The Monk & The PhilosopherHinzugefügt:
In 1977, someone proposed was here a proposal to do a book of dialogue with my father. I thought he would never accept as being a agnostic French philosopher in a dialogue with a Buddhist monk, even that was his son.
But [music] somehow he said yes, so I thought I was in big trouble. So I say you know, having played soccer in my youth, I say okay, he comes here, I play on my home turf.
So we'd spend 10 days in the mountains [music] and the monk and philosopher was published.
And it was the beginning of my trouble or beginning of [music] an opportunity.
So then it sort of rolled on for 25 years of milestone [music] and then some books came out. I don't know if they are useful, but I did something. And then we started with the royalties of my book 100% I gave all the way. We started the Karuna session and as today we help about 500,000 people every year in India, Nepal and some in Tibet.
