It's time to figure out what happened to Matt because The Punisher and Daredevil have just disappeared from this crime scene and now we got to figure out what they're doing. My prediction is they are becoming best friends.

Go ahead, try find an arch nemesis. Get an arch nemesis first. Then invite them out for pancakes. They will no longer be your arch nemesis.

[00:04:58]>> You have to kind of either rely on your visual ability to assess somebody to determine how dangerous things are or somebody's ability to tell you how dangerous something is for them. But like, what if somebody has internal bleeding? You don't know. Oh, what if somebody's not honest about what happened to them?

[00:14:03]>> ADA Elliot James took the fall after Reyes mishandled informants in the Teller case about a year ago. Chris Davidson. Did you ever meet him? Fired after the state supreme court disqualified her entire office from the Pel case due to widespread misconduct.

[00:14:19]But not everyone got fired to see Reyes walked out in one piece. She's good at throwing people to the wolves.

[00:14:26]>> Yeah, she can take down Nelson. Murdoch this month, but how long before you are getting pulled into the [ __ ] with the rest of us?

[00:14:33]>> You trying to scare me?

[00:14:35]>> No, your boss clearly is. and Reyes are not on the same team.

[00:14:40]>> Where would you even find this [ __ ] >> I want protection for Nelson and Murdoch. We're small. We can't survive getting thrown to the wolves. Not without your help.

[00:14:51]>> You have information on the Punisher?

[00:14:53]>> Do I look like I'm going to post it on YouTube?

[00:14:55]>> How will the Punisher files, assuming they even exist, help you stop that from happening?

[00:15:04]So, you expect me to implicate the DA on purpose? And you cannot come into my office asking me to betray my boss. So, I'm going downstairs to get security and you will not contact me again. No emails, no phone calls, nothing, Miss Paige.

[00:18:17]>> This is really stretching him morally to a place I wasn't expecting them to go. I mean, this is >> and our mutual friend I wish things could have been different between us. He's a very complicated man.

[00:18:29]Maybe the city needs him.

[00:18:32]>> Matt made a mistake when he let you go.

[00:18:35]>> What makes you think he did?

[00:18:38]>> Oh, I love Claire.

[00:18:40]>> Shut up.

[00:18:43]>> Killing him is not going to bring anybody back.

[00:18:45]>> No, but it will keep him from HURTING ANYBODY ELSE.

[00:18:52]>> TAKE THE SHOT, RED. TAKE THE SHOT. NO, YOU DON'T DO IT. HIS DEATH'S ON YOU.

[00:18:58]>> The kind I'm going to make right now.

[00:19:14]>> Help me.

[00:19:20]>> Punisher. I'm going to get you out of here. He doesn't think anyone can be saved or be redeemed.

[00:19:36]>> Why didn't you stop him?

[00:19:48]>> Oh gosh. All your bikes.

[00:20:00]THOSE ARE cookies in the corner. Cookies or muffins?

[00:20:29]>> What is going to happen if Matt does not >> let him shoot them when they're down there? They're they're just going to come up and start hurting everybody.

[00:20:39]>> They're coming for you. Only way you get out of this is if you grow wings.

[00:20:48]Gosh, Karen is just throwing herself into this.

[00:20:54]This has got to have a toll on you constantly looking at these types of photos or like seeing these kinds of crime scenes.

[00:21:03]You're carrying him out. Can't you hide in somebody's apartment? Go to Betty.

[00:21:07]Betty's apartment. 2B. Was that where she was?

[00:21:12]You're taking the elevator.

[00:21:21]What the hell?

[00:21:26]>> You okay, sir?

[00:21:31]>> I'm good.

[00:21:32]>> Matt saving that man. Oh, he still has a >> He still has his hand all taped up.

[00:21:46]Oh, I really like the way they've lit this. They do such great things with the lighting in this show.

[00:22:09]Gosh, doing this fight scene on these stairs must make it so much more challenging.

[00:22:51]He must be exhausted.

[00:22:59]Great.

[00:23:03]Be so much easier if you could just shoot him.

[00:23:08]Damn.

[00:23:15]>> Hope these guys never need a lawyer.

[00:23:28]How did that catch on fire?

[00:23:31]My god.

[00:23:45]Great episode. Seeing Matt and the Punisher go up against each other on the rooftop, not physically, but just from their different moral perspectives was really fascinating. In the first season, we got to see pretty extensively how Matt views the world. And in this episode, we got to see how the Punisher views the world in comparison to Matt's perspective. It it is sad that he doesn't believe that people are redeemable or he doesn't really have a lot of hope in people. And I'm glad that Matt hasn't lost that despite all of the terrible things he's seen. Then again, the Punisher is basically saying, I've seen worse. You know, I've been through hell. I have good reasons to think that these people aren't going to change. And you know, based off of his experiences, he might be very valid in that perspective. Maybe throughout the rest of the season, his perspective will become more nuanced. Maybe. I think that would be nice. Um, and uh maybe Matt I wonder if Matt's perspective will ever change or or if he'll eventually get to a point where he either has killed somebody or his perspective changes about life and death. I'm excited to see more of Matt's interactions with the Punisher. I guess they're not going to become best friends forever. You know what? It's just not that kind of fairy tale story. And that's okay.
