The city is pretty busy but you can see the behind the car behind us. How beautiful and how exciting is this city. Very futuristic. Lots of highrises and very organized city in general. But as it's a mountain city, there are lots of surprises in this place. And one of them going to be this experience arriving to the car elevator.

[00:06:41]>> We just take the supposedly normal road.

So, we've built a complete uh loop tunnel under the city center and all of these different exits and entrances are connecting to all these major parking garages as well as these like office building, shopping malls and hotel buildings.

[00:07:54]>> But many locals don't know about this or they feel too intimidated to drive around knowing these places cuz you don't have GPS. GPS is completely messy in here.

[00:08:06]>> No. because GPS shows the the ground floor uh but doesn't show what's going on underground and maybe some roads actually interfere with each other on top of each other >> so navigation gets confused where you are.

[00:08:27]>> It's only uh for some smart people like us. We do it >> and I do it because you are here. I would never get myself into this space for driving especially when there's no text in English knowing where you are going and then navigation doesn't work on top of that. So imagine being here for inner and driving in this tunnel like 30 40 m deep underground the city which is very very impressive. I think this is a idea is very similar to what Elon Musk is trying to do >> with the Boring Company. Yeah, it was the boring company that the tunnels the cars can travel much easier and faster without the traffic and uh was a certain speed which is impressive.

We entered the parking space, traveled underground in the city, and then came out from a different parking um garage. And now we are out in the city. That was fascinating. It's so interesting. And uh now you can see the rest of the city.

[00:11:06]There's a little shopping mall here and highrises as you can see. City is busy but at the same time very organized and very beautiful. So that was really cool experience. It was uh very interesting to experience how the locals travel in day-to-day life underground and above the ground where they park which is absolutely fascinating.

All these buildings. You have to literally break your neck to look to the top of the buildings. That's how high they are.

[00:12:07]And you just lose the feeling of being in a mountain city. We are in a mountain city and uh still this city is so organized, so beautiful and uh you can find anything and every corner of it is so exciting. So we are looking for a hotel called Aspera which should be in front of us somewhere on the left side.

[00:12:33]We will find that very soon. But seems like this street is very exciting.

[00:12:39]There are like this traditional buildings on the left and you have got a like a modern highrises. We have got a miso shop right there which is a from it's like a toy shop from China.

[00:12:54]And yeah, I love this place man. It's really cool and just having the local with you to show you around like going underground parking places and underground tunnels that as a foreigner you would never take that risk and you would never manage it yourself anyway.

[00:13:16]So it makes it quite exciting and very interesting place to travel especially when you have a local with you showing you around. I think uh my hotel going to be probably somewhere nearby here. So let me figure it out and then I will show you where we stay, how our room looks like. Should be very exciting actually. So, we will go through one by one. This is the entrance point. We have got a huge mirror right here. There's a space to hang your clothes. We have got a space here for the shower. Pretty big shower actually. Look at this. Looks very nice.

[00:16:05]There's even space to sit or whatever you want to do there. We have got a nice looking mirror here to get ready right in the morning or in the afternoon. They have led us all this nice things. This hotel is called Aspera Hotel. So in case you want to find them, uh you can easily do on trip.com. I got the deal only for $100 which is actually amazing. So we have got a hair dryer here, all the towels which is all the basics basically. There's nothing too special.

[00:16:39]And I want to show you the toilet. I think we have got a smart toilet here.

[00:16:43]This is the type of toilet I see for the first time. Then you just open this and then you have got all the buttons here to warm up, dry yourself up, wash yourself up and things like this, which is pretty nice. Interesting toilet. So, I have stayed multiple hotels right now and all of them had this type of smart toilet. Um, which is pretty cool. I cannot say I don't enjoy it. It's pretty nice to have those toilets available. I have no idea what is this. This might be like a music station. I think it's a speaker or something like that. I'm not sure why is it shaped like this though.

[00:17:24]They have gave us like a QR code where you can scan and I think have a music for you during the day and uh I'm not sure what is that. Ah it's a light.

[00:17:35]That's interesting light system. Just press this and then you can switch it the direction you want and then if you want you can actually read during the night. That's nice. So we have got a queensiz bed right here in the middle guys. We have all the buttons here. I wouldn't be surprised if we can actually turn off that. We can actually we can do the curtains off from here. As you can see, right now the curtains are closing, but that's not what we want. So, we're just going to open open them right now.

[00:18:11]And seems like there's a you see that this wall is completely empty because there's a projector on that corner. And uh I think you can actually you can do like screen on and we will see if it will actually work out. Maybe it will take a while for it to be on. I'm not sure how does it work exactly. But um we have got all these buttons here for different things. We have got a coffee machine on this corner. Let's see if there's any little mini bar maybe. All right. Oh wow. We have got a mini bar here. Some cookies. Some drinks. This is a Pepsi. This is a Seven Up. some water available and more water available which is good. And then these are the coffee capsules uh they come with which is very nice. I like it. And of course about the views.

[00:19:09]Wow. This city is just incredible and it's just getting better and better as experience for me. when you look down like we are, I think at the 27th floor right now. So, pretty high. And then this is one of the main bridges uh to cross to the other side. That looks pretty exciting. And then on this side, if you pay attention right here, you can actually see the another bridge in the distance. We have got all these residential buildings on the right side.

[00:19:40]It's very exciting. The views are actually quite incredible. I really like it. And uh these windows of course they don't I think they don't open too much.

[00:19:51]I'm not sure how far they open. I think this is the maximum we can open them. So let me put you outside with my camera.

[00:20:15]Pretty nice views, right? Wonderful views. And uh also there's a space here like for the sofa and a little table in case you want to work. And uh I cannot forget that there's also literally tub right here in front of the window. I would definitely not take a bath right here when the windows are open. uh because almost all the buildings are in the same level as you. So, everyone can see you very easily. So, but it's here in case you want to spice up things and if you want to be a little bit more romantic, then you have got the little tub here right in the middle of the bedroom, which is nice. All right, this is all about the room, guys. I think it's pretty interesting. Uh, not necessarily my favorite color combination for a bedroom, like like very strong blue and there's like a pink, but the room itself looks pretty interesting and nice and organized. I think I will have everything I need. Also, there's like a little curve curvature here going to the window that gives a interesting shape to the room. It looks like a spaceship kind of a ambiance. But I think what is exactly we are paying for are this views. And in general in China, you can get really affordable prices for hotels.

[00:21:40]You can stay in place for $30, $40. If you want to do something premium like here, then you pay $100. And $100 is actually nothing if you compare it with other countries where $100 gets you almost nothing. Like in European countries, if you go in the Middle East, if you go some of the Asian countries, like $100 gets you just average room.

[00:22:02]But here in China, $100 gets you really premium rooms with a high-rise and build high-rise buildings and panoramic views to the city, which is very exciting. And I'm going to spend few nights here just enjoying this wonderful ambiance, guys.

And one of the coolest places I wanted to visit is this cold war bomb shelter, which right now turned into hot pot restaurant. And it might be the longest restaurant in the world. We're going to go inside. We're going to have a early dinner experience here and uh we're going to see how everything goes.

[00:22:57]It's going to be very exciting. So real bomb shelter which turned into hot pot restaurant. How cool and how exciting is this? So this is uh going to be our entrance and uh as you can see we are entering through the tunnel.

[00:23:14]How long uh how long is the tunnels?

[00:23:16]>> It's 900 m half a mile away.

[00:23:20]>> Wow that's crazy. 900 m tunnels and there are three tunnels like this.

[00:23:26]>> Yeah, like two main ones that are as big as this.

[00:23:29]>> And you see that a little bit of uh glass >> flooring down there. You're going to see a little miniature of the of the tunnel shape >> of the tunnels. Very nice. Wow. So, I guess >> I guess we need to sign up here >> for two people.

And then as you enter, there are these little tables here which you can take a sit at and enjoy the dinner experience. It's going to be pretty cool. Guys, do you know how many tables are there?

[00:25:04]Like everyone is dining in. And uh this this uh this restaurant is so long that they actually deliver the food by you know little motorcycles or little cars or whatever is that robots too. So they use robots they use like a little motorcycles and they carry the food.

[00:25:28]Hopefully we will see that in a bit. But uh we have got a different style tables here for bigger families and then little families. You have got a corner corner stalls here like this is uh for like two three people and then you can get also bigger. And this is literally the inside the shelter.

[00:28:57]So, super exciting. Hot. Hot. It's experience in a cold war bomb shelter, right? And you said it never been used.

[00:29:07]>> It was never been used uh thankfully cuz there was no major war broke out after the cold war, right? But what about the during the when the Japanese were were bombing Chongqing? Was this was this ready?

[00:29:31]>> So, they constructed these uh more modern bigger tunnels. But the World War II ones, they're much shorter. They can barely fit like two people walking side by side.
