Sound turns sand into perfect patterns 🤯

[00:00:00]So, in this experiment, I have here a uh a a plate of brass on which uh I will put some sand.

[00:00:18]Of course, people who are cleaning this room are going to hate me, but that's life.

[00:00:25]All right. So, I'm putting some sand on that plate of brass.

[00:00:31]And uh I I'm sorry already. This might be painful a bit. But, if I take a violin bow here, and I play on the side of this plate with the bow, now this better work.

[00:00:50]You'll see that the sand will go and take some form on the plate. I did not place the sand in any peculiar way a priori. I just, you know, put a bit of it anywhere.

[00:01:17]It will try to form different shapes that can be more or less complicated depending on where it is that um on where it is that I I play.
