When Can You Start Exercise After Bariatric Surgery?Hinzugefügt:
So, a lot of patients come to us and ask us when can they start exercise after surgery? What would be the right answer for this? I would say about 6 weeks or whenever we think that you are fit to do so. Studies show that patients who work out after surgery would lose more weight than patients who don't. So, light walking and moving can be started immediately post surgery. I would suggest you walk at least [music] 5,000 to 10,000 steps a day 1 week after surgery and you can start working out with weight training and cardio 6 [music] weeks post surgery. This is a very good tool and you should use it to the best.
