Um, so here's a GoPro and then this is one of the little caps that goes over the battery and it it opens and then you can like plug a charger in while the GoPro's here, but it's not the waterproof one.

I don't know what the heck I'm doing, right? So, um so yeah. So, this is the actual this is the one you want. It's the waterproof one. So, uh but it's all good.

[00:03:59]So, uh and I was able to check some of the footage. I checked some of the footage and the good news is it it it died. But but the good news is you can see, right? I put it in and you can see and and then it died and then the water got inside. So I think it's really going to work. I I reviewed some footage. So um yeah. So I think I think it's going to work, you guys. So let's do this.

I stuffed it in the bag of rice. And the good news is the the water didn't get like totally inside. It was just like maybe just the battery connections or something. And then so everything everything's good.

[00:05:14]And then uh and then came drove all the way back up the hill because I'm on this side of town. It's like uh uh uh you know I I wanted to search south, I want to search north, but today is this side of town. So today is this. Today is Rose Canyon Lake. Welcome back to Rose Canyon Lake, you guys. And uh we're going to search Rose Canyon Lake. We're going to do exactly what we did earlier. We're going to hit this whole area and then going to hike all the way around the lake and I'm going to hit that side over there, too. So, um so let's do this. We don't much time. GoPro battery only lasts an hour and uh exploring with gym battery 24 hours.

We're going to do the GoPro search of Rose Canyon Lake. You know, I came all the way over here to do this and I just don't have there's just there's just I just there there's no word in me. Somebody said, uh, why don't you quit? And I says, uh, uh, I never heard that word before. What does that mean, quit? What does it mean quit? I never heard that before.

[00:08:08]It's literally I got to fill up my car literally three times with gas. Each is $100. So, literally just getting here is $300.

There's and I've searched several of them. This is like you could leave the house, drive maybe I don't know 20 minutes to get to the base of this road, drive up this road and this is the first deep water lake. So that's the uh that's the purpose that's the reason for the season. Okay.

[00:31:20]I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure that if there's anything at all from way over there, we dropped in each spot all along here in the deepest part of the lake. You can only go as far as here because there's a locked gate.

[00:31:58]And I'm going to I plan to go on the other side of the gate. I'm going to uh put all my equipment together and I'm going have to walk all the way around the whole lake and then get over to there and I'm going to repeat this process over on the other side. So, and then that way, you know, I know I've searched Rose Canyon Lake just as good as I can.

[00:32:22]And then hopefully hopefully the footage shows up and if there's something here, we can uh call law enforcement.

[00:32:35]I'll get out the I have a uh magnet of an underwater high power.

[00:32:52]And if all else fails, I have a scuba license. I going to go rent scuba tanks and do my own scuba diving. So, uh yeah, that's what it takes. If that's what it takes, we'll do it. They give me a ticket for it. scuba diving to find Nancy Guthrie. I don't think they'll give me a ticket. Uh if there's actually something down there. So, we'll definitely take a look. So, let's see.

You know, the other side is interesting because this lake is closed during the winter time. NY's kidnapped in what is it?

[00:34:16]February? Yeah, February 1st, January 31st. I don't even know all the dates, but uh you can't get through that. You can't get through that gate. And I think you would hike up from uh I think a person I think there's a trail that comes up from over here. So this side might actually be more accessible in the winter time. So uh so I definitely want to search both sides. This side would be the easiest to get to when there's actually when the gates open, but the side over there uh may be the one that someone would go to in the middle of winter because like I say, the gate is closed.

[00:34:52]So that's uh that's what's going on you guys. Yeah, 7,000 feet up here. A little short of breath. Gez, not short of breath, but you can definitely feel the elevation gain up here. So, let's see.

And it's $100 at McDonald's and some other places. It's $1,000 a trip. But I don't mind because, you know, I don't know.
