[00:02:05]The Arvar is a master of the night, but today  its luck has run out. Emerging in broad daylight, it fell right into the path of a hungry  lion pride. This rare footage captures a unique moment. Lionesses using this catch  as a live training session for their cubs.

However, this is no easy prey. With massive, razor sharp  claws and a body size that rivals the jaguar itself, the defender stands its ground.  Recognizing the risk of a fatal injury, the jaguar chooses to retreat. Two continents, two  different outcomes. That is the law of the wild.
