Minimum Wage Hikes: A Short-Sighted Economic Move?

Um if somebody puts minimum wage up and says it doesn't affect other than the people who are getting minimum wage, I find that quite naive because I If I pay somebody I'll be the gift of figures I If I pay somebody £13 an hour and I was paying somebody £10.50 or whatever it is, and I put that £10.50 up to £12.50, the person who's paying £13 pound naturally thinks the differentials are not correct anymore. So, that that sweeps through the whole the the whole ranch of people that you employ. So, So, when people make these statements which are supposed to protect people and and and give people a decent standard of living, all it does is it it in truth, in a lot of cases, people will stop recruiting because they can't afford to recruit because they've had such a hike in the in the salaries. So, stuff Sometimes I find it a little bit short-sighted.
