Goldin’s raw portrayal of intimacy serves as a necessary antidote to the emotional sterility of modern life. Her work forces us to confront the shared human vulnerability we often choose to ignore.

Nan Goldin - This Will Not End Well #️⃣2️⃣ A chacun sa propre expérience本站添加:
One of the first [music] things that Nan said when we started working is that I want a village where there is a square and where the people meet and like a social kind of environment.
>> [music] >> So it's very much up to the visitor to build their own like experience from this exhibition.
What I think is unique or like special about Nan's work is sort of the deep dedication [music] that she has to her subject matter. She has that sort of core ability [music] of touching us because she touches the foundation of who we are. But also showing us something that I think we've almost forgotten in today's society and that is empathy. [music]
