How TSM Is Found After AA Stops Working

[00:00:00]I think I literally just Google searched alternatives to AA. I'd actually tried an alternative before I went into AA called like I think it was called SMART program or something like that.

[00:00:16]And I didn't like it. You know, they gave me a big workbook and it was all science-based.

[00:00:21]And that seemed great, but the person running the meetings was like an overworked nurse who kept running out of the room to give methadone to heroin addicts in her clinic.

[00:00:32]And I'm sitting next to a sex addict and I'm sitting across from some heroin addict that thinks he's better than me because he quit heroin.

[00:00:40]And I've got this nurse who, you know, she knows a lot of science, but she doesn't really know how to run this meeting and so it was I was like this isn't going to work and I ended up in AA.
