[00:00:00]So Lakewood might be getting a second chance to make something out of one of its most unique community spaces. I'm Josh with the Daily Drop and here's what's going on. So the Fieldhouse at Studio West 1117, you know, this big, beautiful building behind me, it was an LGBTQ inclusive venue that closed at the end of last year, but it's now officially heading to auction in June.

[00:00:20]When it opened in 2022, stud tried to be more than just a bar or restaurant. It had a rooftop patio, sports leagues, drag shows, yoga classes. They even have this gymnasium here. It was pretty much known for all kind of events. But now, the 25,000t property is being sold through a court-ordered auction process, and somebody might be getting this for a bit of a discount. The building reportedly had more than $10 million invested into it, but the minimum bid is listed at just $1 million. Now, the receiver overseeing the sale says he expects someone new to take over the property and turn it into another destination spot for the community.
