[00:00:01]I bought a new oven this past year and I specifically got a white enamelled oven because that's the products that I work on and I'm like this steel could have come out of the Mon Valley that's like 30 minutes away. So that's pretty cool.

[00:00:18]Here at the research center we have many engineers that are working on new grades of steel for new applications. I don't think that people realize the variety of steel that exists that we make, but we're making steels that range from an appliance through a car. If your car gets into a crash, you want the steel to be able to absorb that impact. Everyone that you work with kind of knows about something that you don't know about.

[00:00:42]Whenever there's a problem, people from all over the organization will come together and provide their expertise to help find solutions. We were having some issues processing some of our advanced high strength steels just because they're so strong. So I was part of a broader team to implement some process changes and batch kneeling to help with getting those coils through our entire process so that our customers could get them.
