A Communist Helmet from the Spanish Civil War that Shouldn't Exist

[00:00:00]Hi everyone, and welcome back to the shop here. Uh wanted to go over another helmet that came in. This is spectacular.

[00:00:07]This has nothing to do with World War II, but instead the Spanish Civil War.

[00:00:12]So, this helmet would have been used by the Republicans against Francisco Franco, the fascist who actually won the war and governed for, I don't know, 40 years afterwards.

[00:00:24]But, this helmet is a Spanish helmet.

[00:00:28]You can see that it's kind of beat up there, but what makes it interesting, it has the communist symbol right there on the front.

[00:00:36]If you can see that, that was because the communist helped the Republican against Francisco Franco.

[00:00:45]And these are very rare to find like this cuz they would have all been destroyed. It was a terrible bloody war.

[00:00:50]You know, they killed each other like nothing else.

[00:00:53]Um but just a very beautiful, rare helmet with the communist logo still on it.

[00:01:00]Everything is complete on the inside that you can see.
