Camp Nou Construction Update | Roof Structure Rising & Massive ProgressAdded:
Welcome back to the camp no vision. The stadium construction [music] has been progressing at an incredible pace with major structural developments, expanding exterior framework, and visible improvements across multiple sections that clearly show how this project is shaping into a worldclass arena.
Alongside this massive [music] construction journey, FC Barcelona has also delivered a historic moment by securing the La Liga title, making this period even more special for the fans.
In this video, we will be covering the latest construction [music] updates from the stadium and also highlighting the atmosphere and excitement around Barcelona's title winning achievement.
[music] The third tier is now extremely close to completion and the scale of the structure looks [music] more impressive than ever.
New pre-fabricated seating slabs continue to be installed around the curved corner sections, especially between the south goal and the lateral stand. Most of the concrete work across the upper areas is already finished, leaving only a few remaining sections around the structural cores. From the highest rows, the panoramic views across the city and inside the stadium already look spectacular, showing just how massive the final stadium experience will be. Work on the compression ring is moving at an incredible pace. More temporary support towers and radial beam sections are now visible across multiple sides of the stadium as crews continue preparing new lifting zones. Today, another giant steel box was successfully installed into position, adding another key section to the future roof support structure. Workers spent hours securing the connections and tightening the massive bolts as the ring slowly continues [music] closing around the stadium. The size of these steel pieces is truly enormous, and the roof structure [music] is finally starting to become visible. South goal is showing steady structural [music] progress with a clear increase in installed anchoring points across both lower and upper fixing zones [music] compared to the last visit. Multiple crews are actively working in different areas, focusing on preparation for upcoming installation stages.
A large number of anchors and support points have already been completed, although some sections, [music] especially toward the left side, are still pending final adjustments.
Vertical support frames remain in position along the main structure while connection elements between them [music] are still not fully installed. The ceramic facade installation is progressing quickly across the lateral side of the stadium. More blue and maroon ceramic slats were installed [music] throughout the day, connecting multiple completed sections into one massive continuous [music] facade. The color reflections change depending on the viewing angle in sunlight, giving the exterior a very dynamic appearance.
Several upper sections around the superpillars have also been completed, and the facade now looks increasingly close to its final form. Even without the future lighting system installed yet, the ceramic exterior already looks absolutely stunning. Inside the second tier and VIP ring, construction activity remains very intense.
Workers continue building partition walls, service areas, hospitality zones, and internal circulation spaces across multiple levels. The curtain wall systems and aluminum framing are already installed in many sections. While crews focus on interior finishing and technical installations behind them, the VIP ring is starting to feel much more like a finished premium hospitality area rather than a construction zone.
Waterproofing, structural finishing, and preparation for future interior installations are also continuing [music] steadily throughout the second tier. In the lateral side corner area, louver installation has not started yet, but significant preparation work is actively underway. Workers are focusing on preparing and aligning the anchoring points that [music] will support the future louver system in this section.
These anchors are being carefully positioned and fixed to ensure correct structural alignment before installation begins. Multiple crews are operating in this corner zone, carrying out drilling, measurement, and fixing tasks to complete the base framework. Although no louvers are installed yet, the area is clearly in a preparation phase, indicating [music] that installation work will likely start once the anchoring system is fully completed and finalized. Inside the lateral mobility core, work is still actively progressing. Vertical structural elements remain in place, but sandwich panel installation is still incomplete in several internal sections. Workers are continuing with alignment checks, surface preparation, and internal finishing tasks.
No major new panel installations have started here yet, but the area is clearly being prepared for the next stage of enclosure work. Movement of workers inside the core indicates ongoing internal finishing and system integration work for future elevator and circulation infrastructure. The north goal area is currently in a full preparation and structural readiness phase. Multiple teams are actively drilling into vertical pillars to create fixing [music] points for future louver supports. These drilling operations are precisely aligned with existing guide systems, confirming that this area is entering the next installation stage.
Alongside drilling, workers are applying protective anti-corrosion coatings on bolts and connection points. Some sections still require painting and surface [music] finishing before structural panels can be installed.
Inside the mobility cores, scaffolding is active and workers are performing detailed alignment and surface [music] preparation tasks.
However, no louver installation has started yet in this zone, indicating it is still in the pre-installation [music] phase. The Tribuna section is currently showing moderate but continuous activity.
Several workers are operating on scaffolding platforms inside the stand, carrying out finishing adjustments and structural corrections.
Internal mobility cores here are partially covered with sandwich panels, but full enclosure is still pending.
Some vertical support structures remain without final connecting elements, meaning the false ceiling system is not yet complete in this area. At the upper [music] structural level, minor finishing works continue. While no major new structural lifts [music] or installations are currently taking place, this area is clearly moving slowly but steadily toward completion.
The corner area between Tribuna and Gaul sections is in an active transition phase. Here, vertical supports are already installed, but horizontal connecting elements are still missing in several points. This indicates that the framework is ready, but not yet fully assembled into the final louver structure. Material staging is visible at upper levels, suggesting preparation for upcoming installation works. Workers are also performing alignment checks and measurements to ensure proper integration between adjacent structural zones. No louver installation has started in this corner yet, but the preparation level shows that this section will likely be one of the next to progress into panel installation.
In the transition area between Tribuna and goal sections, internal construction activity continues steadily. Inside the mobility cores, partial installation of panels is visible, but full enclosure is not yet complete. Workers are still engaged in internal finishing, structural adjustments, and system alignment tasks.
External structural [music] supports remain exposed in several areas with final connection elements still pending installation. This zone continues to function as an active construction interface between [music] completed and incomplete sections of the stadium. FC Barcelona secured a powerful victory in the match, defeating their eternal rivals with a strong performance and clinical finishing, winning the game with a convincing score line and sealing another historic La Liga triumph in front of their home fans. The players delivered when it mattered most and the stadium exploded in celebration as the final whistle confirmed both the victory and the title, making this night unforgettable for everyone present inside the ground and watching around the world. The stadium [music] is progressing in multiple zones at the same time. With the lateral side now largely unified through completed louver connections, giving it a near final exterior look, the north area remains in drilling, anchoring, [music] and preparation stage. focusing on creating fixing points for upcoming [music] installations.
The Tribuna section continues internal finishing and structural adjustments while both corner and transition zones are actively handling material staging and alignment work to prepare for the next phase of construction. That's it for today's update. See you in the next one.
