Crossing Indian Ocean to Madagascar in Corsair A330-900 CockpitAdded:
Hello, I'm Christian. Today we fly to Antaro. Uh the flight time will be 1 hour 15 minutes, the cruising altitude at 38,000 ft with a nice weather. We thank you for choosing Corsair.
>> Hello, my name is Frank. Uh I'm the first officer on this flight to Madagascar and I'll be the pilot flying for this first leg. So expect push back tell uh to the uh southeast and then taxi with Charlie.
We take up cross runway 14 then runway one two backtrack after on the uh pad on the turning pad and then departure full length on it's a flex takeoff with the uh APU bleed in case of engine failure it's straight ahead at 1.7 from view site golf it's a left term heading 0 6 0 and in case of a return on The secondary flatland we have uh landing runway the 14 Yankee and uh if we need more time we have a old pattern uh also insert it.
>> Yeah. Okay. Engine one start 74 via Charlie enter backtrack and line up runway uh one two. I call you back with your departing clearance.
>> So Charlie next to the right. Yeah.
Enter the runway. It's clear. Right.
774. Would you accept visual departure right and turn after 12,000 ft? Uh you know what? Disregard the 774. After takeoff, left turn to intercept and follow radial 3 one correction 303 S delta G 3,000 ft initially 1017.
>> Okay. Uh so the left 27 radial 30 from Delta Golf 3,000 ft. Corsair 774.
>> Uh you want the taxi checklist. Uh take up briefing confirmation first. Any failures before V1, you go stop or go after V1, it's go. In case of engine failure, no action below 400 ft except for gear up.
>> Not yet.
So you have on your side on my side.
Okay.
And I can offer you the taxi checklist.
Taxi checklist, please.

774 once established climb level 3.4.
All right. So, as you could see here on the map, we uh pushed back for stand number four and uh then we entered the uh runway via this taxi way here, Charlie. Then we made a left turn. We backtrack the runway one, two, that is our runway for departure. We uh made a right to left Uturn to align ourselves. Then we took off. We had the quite uh unusual departure clearance today. Uh this is because on the um re island they don't have any radar. So uh because of some conflicting traffic we had to do some basic IFR uh flying.
And then we uh made Yeah. If I go this is our route.
So pretty much straight ahead towards uh Tana. We've just reached our final uh altitude which is uh 30,000 ft and uh we estimate our descent in about 20 minutes towards Tana.
So we're about to start our descent. So these are the performances of the landing in IATO.
Um it's quite a high altitude airfield.
Uh we are almost 4,000 ft performances wise. Um so the runway is 3,100 m long. We're going to perform a landing with the full flaps auto break uh low and we'll try to uh do a idle reverse.
This is to uh save some uh life on the engines.
So the computer uh just did its calculation.
The actual landing distance will be uh 2,4 uh well 87 m and uh we have a 1.15 uh% increment and we call that the uh factor landing distance. This is for safety reasons.
And you can see here the uh that's the calculated factor landing distance and the margin uh with the end of the uh runaway 240 m.
And if we go there is the uh actual uh runway. So we'll be landing on that direction runway 11.
And uh regarding the performances, we expect to uh save some uh braking and some reverses and uh slowly get to uh the end of the runway. There is a turning pad here. We'll make a U-turn as we did on departure in Lareno and then uh backtrack the runway again, exit via this taxi way echo probably depends on the uh ATC control and uh then we will probably be this is a taxi way and we'll be uh probably parked uh around one of these uh gates over here.

So hello everyone. We are here in uh Tana before our departure. So I'm going to proceed with a walk around which is basically checking every part of the aircraft that are essential to safety and make sure making sure everything is uh up to par.
So we start with the uh AOA probe over there. So we just check that uh nothing has been uh damaged. We check the tires for any uh damage or scratch, anything like that and uh everything seems all right. We check that the wings are clear of damages or dents of any sort. We check the engine intake. Same thing inside the the engine. Just here it's quite windy, so the fan is uh already spooling.
There's no damage to any of the blades.
Now we check the uh integrity of the of the tail plane.
And as you can see, you can see again this little static dischargers. Same thing as for the wing tip. We check that they're all here.
It's Christian again. So now we are prepared a flight back to Larong from Antana. So the flight time will be 1 hour and 5 minutes. Okay, captain. So I've seen that you've inserted the uh Pipri one echo departure from runway 11.
The minimum safe altitude is 8,000 with no uh altitude clearance for the >> 77 tower. Push back start facing west for push one echo taxi way to taxi via echo runway 11 one at corair 75 after the 180 will be ready for departure.

So uh we are now uh in cruise at flight level 39. So 39,000 ft inbound Linian Islands. So departing from what we had, we were on a stand 2 tree.
We did a push back. Then we taxi via echo which is here. Then we did a back track for runway 11 one. So right then left turn. Departure was P32 echo. So it's a climbing directly to flight level 39. Zo. We are now on route uh for Lenon. Uh we expect in Lenon an IS approach for the runway 14.
So the minima inserted with a 330 um and then uh upon arrival so we'll land on that runway runway 14 and we expect to vacate the runway via alpha.
Then we will park here somewhere.

>> Yeah, sure. I'm just showing him my fist. I don't think he can see it.
>> So, here we are, guys. We just arrived back in the Renon Island. I hope you enjoyed the flight and uh I hope to see you soon. Thanks a lot.
