The video commodifies a child's developmental vulnerability for digital engagement, prioritizing vlog sentimentality over the child's long-term privacy. It reduces the complex, repetitive labor of speech therapy to a mere consumable highlight.

3 Year Old Toddler Has A FeverAdded:
What's this one, Leon?
Where is it on here?
>> Yes, good job. Firefighter.
Let's go, guys.
You picking flowers?
>> I'm I'm looking for a fourleaf clover.
>> A fourleaf clover. Well, good luck, buddy. Do you want to look when we get back from therapy?
Let's go to therapy. We can look when we get back. Okay. I won't cut grass yet.
We can look. Okay. Come on. Leon's ready. Aren't you, Bob? All right. Let's get you in here.
Hello. Hello, guys. We are at therapy getting ready to walk in with both of the boys. We have all the therapies today. Leon's speech, Leon's PT, Leon's OT, and Theo's speech. Well, I guess not all because there's Theo's other therapy services, but it's not at this facility.
It's a different facility. But all the stuff at this facility is today. So, that does not always happen. Sometimes it's like different days of the week.
Sometimes it's different days.
>> Yeah, we've been trying to get a better therapy schedule that works for us. And it's hard because like they're fully booked, you know? So, you have to kind of It's a waiting process. But anyways, um I think we're getting ready to go inside. Therapy's in 7 minutes. So, I forgot to charge Leon's tablet. I do that all of the time. I like set it on the TV stand where it goes to be plugged in and then John like thinks it's plugged in and I think it's plugged in and it doesn't actually get plugged in.
But it should be okay. It's 26%.
However, the battery is like really good on this thing. I added Okay, under places, we added a bunch more places to it. And then I added professions with like a bunch of professions as well. And we have all of these on like little flashcards so we can like practice picking the right one with like the little flash card. What is it?
>> Professions.
>> Professions.
Look, professions is like >> dentist.
>> Dentist, chef, barber, farmer, astronaut, teacher, >> astronaut.
>> Astronaut. That's what you want to be when you grow up, huh?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Theo wants to be an astronaut delivery man, right, Theo? Is that still what you want to be?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Okay, >> that's the >> You ready to go inside?
>> Yes.
>> Mommy, get me first.
>> Get you first.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, I was like, where's my wallet? It's under my camera. Can you lock the door?
Thank you. Now look both ways. Do we see cars? Okay, let's go.
There goes Leone.
Hi. Did you have fun in therapy?
No.
Okay. Why not?
I think you had fun. You got a sticker and everything. I went back with him and he definitely had fun. I don't know why he's being silly. So silly.
Leon also had fun. And you guys did a good job, huh? I also got a little sticker. or the boys gave it to me, but they did really good in therapy. We worked a lot on the word leash for Theo for his speech therapy. I noticed when he was playing Minecraft the other day, he was saying leash a lot. So, by the end of the session today, he was saying leash. And I was like, that's amazing.
So proud of him. I am doing school pickup now, though. I'm just waiting in the line. And once that's done, I think I'm going to go to Walmart. My sister is having this little cookout thing tomorrow and we're gonna bring macaroni salad, but I don't have anything to make macaroni salad. So, I need to go get all of the all the macaroni salad ingredients and then of course like milk bread, things like that, too. So, I don't know if I'm going to do that like this evening with no kids or now with kids.
Ting tang wala wala bing banging w.
>> You guys still got stamps all over you, don't you? The kids found a stamp back there. They stamped all over themselves.
Leon's got stamp on him, too.
>> Yeah. I got a stamp on his stick.
>> Yeah. In his forehead. In his hand. In his arm. Yep.
>> Everything. Yep. Decided to go ahead and come to Walmart because it's like right here and I don't want to have to come back out tonight. So, I only need a few things. Like I said, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. The O saying UFO is >> You like UFOs?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. You like aliens?
>> No.
>> Oh. One day, one day in the night that I saw I saw UFO flying past me.
>> Did you?
>> Yeah.
>> I think it was airplane.
>> No. No, it was not this red. It was going white, red, yellow. That's a pattern. And it keeps repeating.
That should be everything we need to make the macaroni salad. So, we have a bunch of the ingredients at home because I just made macaroni salad for Easter dinner. So, this is just stuff that we ran out of. And we didn't use don mustard last time like you're supposed to and it wasn't as good. So, I'm going to try it out this time. Hopefully, it's a little bit better. I mean, it was good last time, don't get me wrong, but like that little kick, that little extra, you know? You boys ready?
>> Yeah.
>> Now, if you watch Alchemist, don't uh watch Brotherhood first.
>> You got to get the barcode. There you go. Put it in there. I think it goes the other way. You got to put it in like this. Oh, >> there you go. Put it in there. Got our groceries. I've got a coffee somewhere right here. Here's my coffee.
This is my favorite coffee. Like storebought coffee.
Hi guys. What are you doing?
>> I'm playing with me.
>> You're playing with Leon.
Okay. These are the flashcards we have that correspond with the new folders I made. One of them's professions.
So >> doctor one.
>> A doctor >> and that was a doctor one.
>> Okay. Yeah. Go ahead. Show Leon. Where's doctor?
>> Show him.
>> Doctor one.
>> Okay. Press it.
>> Veterinarian.
>> Oh.
>> Oh.
>> Nurse.
>> Okay.
>> Yes. A doctor.
>> Okay.
>> So, I'm going to put it right here.
>> All right. What's this one, Leon?
>> Where is it on here?
>> Fire.
>> Yes. Good job. Firefighter. Give him another one. Odessa.
>> This one? Yeah, that's fine.
>> What is that?
>> It's a potion.
>> A potion?
>> Yes.
>> Yeah, it's a scientist.
>> Scientist.
>> Where's scientist? On there.
>> There it is. Scientist.
>> Yes.
>> You see it, Leone?
>> I see it, too.
>> Yeah. I think Leon likes a firefighter.
>> I press it.
>> Okay. Thank you for helping him.
Who's that? Magician.
>> Yes.
>> Yes. So, I'm going to press it.
>> Yep.
>> Let me see.
>> It says 101.4.
>> I love that.
>> You love it?
>> Yeah.
>> I don't.
>> Says you're sick and sick.
>> She said I love that.
>> She's so sick.
>> No, we don't love being sick. What happened? How'd you get sick?
>> Because >> Because >> Yeah. Oh, I just gave her some Tylenol.
She threw up in the bath. So, >> no, in the shower.
>> Yeah, in the shower.
>> Not in the bath. In the shower.
>> She was in the shower. She threw up.
>> You feeling okay?
>> Yeah.
>> Are you sure?
>> In the shower.
>> Isn't it more comfortable?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Okay.
Does your throat hurt?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Does your belly hurt?
>> Yeah. Yeah. Does your big toe hurt?
>> Yeah.
>> Does your hair hurt?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Okay. All right. Well, we're not going to figure out what's wrong, but she's obviously sick.
>> There's a tin pain and it's everywhere.
>> Right. Right. All right. That Tylenol should help you, baby. Okay. I'm so sorry. John said there was like a little girl at the bus stop or something that was sick.
>> I think the moms were sick.
>> Oh, okay. Yeah.
All right. I'm sorry. She does not She's miserable.
>> Yeah, >> she does not feel good.
>> I'm looking at something.
>> You're looking at something?
>> Those super titties?
>> Super kitties?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. This is what she's talking about.
These are from a birthday party.
>> Yeah, those are mine.
>> Oh, they're yours?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> So, something funny about Adessa was yesterday she like saw like a napkin from the birthday party and was like, "I found something beautiful."
>> Yeah. I found all those.
>> Oh, wow.
>> Fountain.
>> It's a napkin.
>> She carried that napkin around for hours.
>> Yes, she did.
>> And you protect those.
>> I'll protect them. Yes.
>> Protect them from Leon.
>> From Leon.
>> Leon. Cuz Leon will rip them up.
>> Okay.
>> Will rip them up.
>> I know. Yeah.
>> Absolutely.
>> And I will be so sad.
>> Me, too.
>> Did those help you feel better?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Good. All right. Right. They make me happy, too.
>> Okay. All right. You going to lay here with daddy and feel better?
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> I can feel better any minute.
>> Oh, she's so cute. Any minute.
>> Okay. Watch TV.
>> You want to watch TV >> on that computer?
>> Okay.
>> Oh, she wants to use my computer to watch TV.
>> All right.
>> Watch on it.
>> Unicorns.
>> Oh my god. torch is my favorite.
>> My little pony, >> her little personality like I love you, Adessa. I hope you feel better, baby.
