The standard model of cosmology (lambda-CDM), which has been the best framework for understanding the universe for a century, is showing signs of fundamental problems at the largest scales. Multiple independent anomalies have been discovered: the Cold Spot on the cosmic microwave background (a region 1.8 billion light-years across that shouldn't exist statistically), the Eridanus Supervoid (a billion-light-year empty region that shouldn't be possible), the Boötes Void (a 330 million light-year region with only 60 galaxies instead of 2,000), the Great Attractor and Shapley Supercluster pulling our galaxy at 1.4 million miles per hour, Dark Flow suggesting something beyond the observable universe is pulling on us, the Axis of Evil (alignment of cosmic background patterns with our solar system), early galaxies found by James Webb that shouldn't exist at that age, and the Hubble Tension (9% discrepancy between two methods of measuring the universe's expansion rate). While none of these anomalies alone would be fatal, together they suggest the model may be fundamentally incomplete.
