The "chemical ash" metaphor is a brilliant pedagogical shortcut that makes thermodynamics instantly intuitive. It’s a rare example of a science short that delivers genuine conceptual clarity without unnecessary fluff.

The Real Reason Fire Can't Destroy Water | Chemistry Facts #facts #shorts #fireAñadido:
Fire destroys almost everything, but why can't you burn water? The answer is mind-blowing. Water is already burned.
To burn something, you need fuel.
Water, H2O, is what you get when you burn hydrogen with oxygen.
Just like wood turns into ashes that won't burn again, water is essentially the chemical ashes of hydrogen.
The bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in water are so stable that they've already released all their energy.
In fact, water is so unburnable that we use it to kill fire by cutting off its oxygen supply and cooling it down.
So, you can't burn what's already been burned. What other science mystery should we solve? Comment below.
