WHY AM I BLUSHING ?! | OFF CAMPUS S1 EPISODES 1 & 2 REACTIONAdded:
Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Or if you've never seen me before, then hi, welcome. So, in today's video, I'm going to be reacting to the first two episodes of the Off-Campus series. Now, I have not read The Deal. I just want to start off by saying that, let alone the entire Interconnected Standalone series. And usually, I'm one to like read the book first and then watch the show if I haven't read the book already. But, I just didn't have the time. And honestly, I was like, why not just do it differently this time? Why not do it the other way around? I did post a poll on the community space, I guess that's how it's called, on my channel. Most of you guys voted for me reacting to the show without having read the books. Some of you like voted to read the books first, but the majority wanted me to react to the show. Now, I am still going to read the books since the first season is only based on the deal, the first book. I've decided to only read that book, not the entire Interconnected Standless series, at least not until the second season comes out. and I will then do it how I usually do it, which is reading the book first and then watching the show or in this case the season. But yeah, now if you guys really want me to film a reading vlog, please let me know in the comments. But I have heard about this book series. I mean, I think everyone has and I just never got around to reading it, I guess. But even though I've heard about it many times, the only thing I know about it is that it's um it's a hockey series, but that's it.
That's really it. Like I don't really know anything else. I'm just like every time I talk about it, I'm referring to like the whole interconnected standalone series. But yeah, just talking about the first book, The Deal. Like I don't even know the name of the main characters.
Well, hold on. Wait, that's a lie. I think the female main character is called Hannah and the male main character is called Garant or Graham.
One of those two is his first name. The other is his last name. I don't know. I just that just came to mind, like those two names, cuz obviously now that the show has come out, I've been hearing even more about it. So, but yeah, I don't have anything else to say. So, let's just get into it. I'm actually so excited because like everyone has been saying amazing things about this show.
Like TV is so back and I'm so obsessed.
So, I guess it's definitely what's the word? Like um like I've got high expectations. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say. I guess so. Graham is his last name.
She's so pretty. And he's What does that mean?
Don't tell me she's going to walk in on him showering while he's showering. Oh my gosh.
>> What do you keep standing there? Hello.
>> Sorry.
Oh my gosh.
>> Perfect. Another good >> you.
>> Do you mind?
>> Only you get to look at things you shouldn't.
Okay. Did she do it? Did she talk to Justin Cole?
>> She's too busy pining wisfully from afar.
>> I've said maybe two words to the guy and they weren't even good words. You love his music and you've been crushing on him for weeks.
>> Hey, Mona.
>> Who's Mona?
>> I think you.
>> It is an M though, right?
>> Not even close. So, uh, I failed that paper.
>> He wants her to tutor him.
>> Question.
>> I don't get her to question. No.
>> Go. I'll see you at dinner.
>> Bye, Mona.
>> I need your help.
>> Where did he get the name Mona?
>> Could you, pretty please, with sugar on top. Help me study so I don't fail spectacularly.
>> Better. But no.
>> Well, I have to ace the oral presentation or I can't play.
>> Believe it or not, I have my own priorities that have nothing to do with fire hockey. Find another tutor, dude.
>> It's giving. It's giving Nathan and Haley. Okay. Wait.
>> Except it's hockey instead of basketball. But honestly, like the athlete and smart shy girl trope will always eat. Like I love it. I love it so much.
It's your scholarship. It's not happening this year. Budget cuts. We'll get you an appointment with the financial aid office.
>> No, they're just going to give me another work study job. I I can barely do all my school work as it is.
>> I I could write pop. First place comes with a scholarship. I wrote an outstanding piece on pop harmonies in your music theory class freshman year.
>> Not many people can write so eloquently about the harmonic vocal identities and the work of One Direction.
>> Tumbly pop.
>> One Direction.
>> Mentioning One Direction. Okay, I'm hooked. I'm invested. Come on. Like just two words. That's all you needed. Two words. One direction.
>> How hard can it be? Really >> famous last words cuz the competition it's it's pretty steep.
>> No, I can do this.
>> Maybe one guess.
>> I love his hair.
>> Wait, I need to know who that is. And if we're getting a book where he's the main character. Have they mentioned his um his name? Is it John? Yeah, it's John.
Let me see. The second book is about um John. John and Grace. Okay, I love it.
Okay, that means in the second season he'll be more of a main character, right? I just love his hair.
>> Brought your refill.
>> One's my max before.
>> So strict. Are you also strict about non-alcoholic kinds of fun?
>> Okay. I actually love the rock version of that song. I'm like loving it.
>> The way she's looking at him though.
>> Are we feeling folklores or may feel like I'm more of a Taylor than a girl?
>> And they mention Taylor Swift. You never have crushes. The fact that you are down bad for Justin Paul is totally a sign that he's special. Be Taylor and do something about it.
>> What are you afraid of?
>> I mean, >> maybe I Okay, I have an idea. Literally, everyone's going to party tomorrow, including Justin, probably. When's an easier time to talk to a guy than a party? Well, I I don't like parties. No, I need to work on my showcase song.
That's an excuse. And you know, no, it's not. We're not letting you out this time. If you want to be in Taylor, about to take a risk.
How long is this going to go on?
>> Oh, I like that shot. What are these books really spicy? Um, okay.
>> I missed you.
>> I've been busy. They practiced.
>> The whole team has practiced. Okay. They still have lives.
>> Well, none of them were drafted by the Bruins. I can't lose focus. Like I said before, all I can offer is casual.
>> I don't want that anymore. Okay. I want to be your girlfriend. Why? Why? I mean, like, what I mean? What's my favorite band? How do I like my coffee? What's my mother's name? Look, I don't know any of those answers about you either, so maybe you deserve better.
>> Okay, so that was my question. The whole time throughout that scene, I was thinking like, okay, so they've been together already. They're not a couple.
That much is obvious, right? But they've been together. Okay. So, like, yeah, it was just like casual between them, but um definitely she he wanted it to be more than that, but then what he said about like, well, yeah, if they've kept it casual this whole time, like they haven't gotten to know each other, so she's not going to know anything about you or like hasn't tried to get to know you, but she wants to, right? That's what she was saying. But like he just wants to focus on hockey. That's his priority. He uh he doesn't have time for a girlfriend. Okay. So yeah, it's giving like every like the most popular guy at school who's like also an athlete or a jock and is a jerk to girls until he meets the right one, which in this case is Hannah.
>> Is your dad >> and he has daddy issues? Yeah, it's giving Nathan.
>> All he cares about is hockey.
>> Your dad is great. Everybody knows it.
But no one is expecting you to be him.
>> He is.
>> All our parents have expectations, G.
We're not doing this for them. We're doing this cuz we love him.
>> Why do I kind of like love John more than Garrett already?
I have a melody. No lyrics, though. Have you ever written a pop song before?
>> Not since high school.
>> What if I can't? Oh, and I fail a pop showcase and I can't afford my tuition next semester. What did you write about in high school?
>> That's dumb. Something will come to you.
Just give it time. You were supposed to open today, right?
>> Is she always late to everything?
>> Picking up a takeaway order. Justin Co.
>> Yeah. No, I I I know who you are. I work here so I've heard you.
>> They get uniform >> carried watermelon.
>> What?
>> Dirty dancing.
>> Oh, >> look. I'm kind of in a rush. Can I >> Oh my god.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
>> He's just He's just holding his >> Did anyone ever tell you that your references are dated?
>> It's a classic.
>> I can't. You know, you shouldn't fawn over him. That guy. You're too available.
>> Like the girls throwing themselves at you over there.
>> I don't do girlfriends. They know that.
>> Congratulations, Kasanova. But I don't need your help.
>> What if I paid you to tutored me, nerd?
I need the butt. Why would you get off on beating people up? Hockey is the only non-combat sport that doesn't eject its players for fighting. Celebrates it.
Sure, you're not a bad guy. I just don't like hockey.
>> Okay. Has she had like a really horrible experience with hockey related to hockey or like the sport or like Well, obviously that's all the same thing, but like does she have some kind of trauma with like that sport or something? I don't know. That flashback like maybe that has something to do with it.
>> Just talk to me. You'll be all right.
Great hit of McManus last week.
>> Tucker, you're looking good out there.
Looking handsome as ever.
>> Saw that you made captain. About time.
Cindy and I are getting married. You've been dating for like 2 seconds. 6 months.
>> I don't have any time for this. We have a game today. Told me your news.
Congratulations. I'll see you at the wedding.
>> Wow. But he literally like to everyone who came up, every guy, every one of his friends, he like said amazing things to them, hyped them up or whatever. And then his own son came up to him and then just wow. Okay. switched up on like the attitude, I guess. I don't know. Like, he made captain and then he said about time. Wow. Like, yeah, it's definitely giving Dan and Nathan. I keep comparing the two, but I doubt I'll love him more than Nathan. That's my man. But, you know, I'm just uh seeing the similarities. I think he has a potential Odyssey to have a bigger impact than Phil ever had.
>> But yeah, again, keep comparing them two with like Dan and Nathan, but it's like the same thing. Like Dan Yeah, he played basketball, too. And like like well, he didn't win the state championship, but like he he was really good at basketball and like Inry Hill High School like was um was known and just he was also very I don't know. I don't know how to explain it, but like he didn't go to like the um the NBA, but he was a star high school basketball player and then he had an injury in college. The point is, yeah, it's like um having high expectations for his son and pressuring him into getting to the place where he couldn't get to, you know what I mean? Or in this case, like his dad did make it into the NHL and then he retired. I think that just makes it even worse. Like the flashback scene we just saw, like that was the title in an article that was framed on the wall. So yeah, I think that just makes it worse, right? It's like the expectations are even higher and it's like you've got a a legacy to follow or like but it's not like in a good way. I guess it's like um I don't know how to explain it. I guess just people will always be comparing him to his dad. You know >> physicality was brutal.
Was it that abusive? Physically abused her? Must have mentally abused her as well, but like it seemed like he physically abused her. Oh my gosh.
What?
>> Wait. And it's giving even more Haley cuz like Haley, she's a singer. She loves music.
Harry Styles. What did that poster say?
Harry Styles December 3 Brier You Arena Door 7 p.m. and a Harry Styles mention.
Okay. Okay. I mean, yeah. Like the book wasn't written. When was that book written? But the show's got to be based Oh, Noah Khan. Yeah. Yeah. It's got to be based like not based but like set like like set in the year 2026 or 2025 whatever but like now oh the book was written 2015. Yeah. What I'm trying to say is like it's not even though the book was written or was released in 2015 it's not set in 2015.
>> Oh, that's cute. Like he's smiling and like he's laughing just like looking at her dancing and singing.
Now he's in a better mood.
She's watching Dirty Dancing. Oh my gosh. And she's making a Spotify playlist. I love her.
>> What are you doing?
>> Watching a movie.
>> We talked about this. You promise she's coming.
>> Justin called us out.
>> And he's there alone, which means Hannah's going to slide right in.
>> Don't look now. But Justin is right.
Just said don't look now.
>> Put on your big girl pants and go.
>> I think there's more shots of the girl.
here and his friend in high school.
>> Oh, her friend got ruied and her reaction like does that also have to do something with like the flashbacks we've been getting? I don't know. And who was that guy? Like she saw his face and then she just had a panic attack. Um, but I I love her. Ally, she's a good friend.
Seems that way as of now.
>> Fine, but can we dance?
>> Right. Like I just I just got here. Give me a break.
>> I love him.
>> The waitress from the lounge. What's her name?
>> It's Hannah. What? Thank you very much.
>> Oh my god.
>> Looking her up on Instagram and everything. Stalking her page.
>> Hello.
>> All yours, princess.
>> Wait, wait. Why is she looking at him like that? Hold on. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. They're the main characters of book three, Ally and Dean. So, she's definitely not going to be staying, you know, staying with uh with Shawn. I was like because the way like they're looking at each other, like there's something there. So, guess I'll wait until season 3. Or I mean I don't know.
They could kind of still I don't know. I don't know what they're going to do, but uh they're the main characters of the score. That's book three. Still looking at her page. Oh my god.
Stop. That's so cute.
>> Give me a coat.
>> Of course.
>> You okay?
>> I think we got off on our own foot earlier. I'm a musician, too. Writer, not a performer.
>> Sick. Yeah. What kind of stuff do you add?
>> Passible. asleep.
>> Yeah, classical.
>> Good.
>> Babe, I am always telling you to wear your jacket. You never know.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> No way.
>> I'm Iwood today.
>> You're a hockey fan?
>> Uh yeah, my uh my dad plays. Nice to meet you. S.
>> Who the hell was that? How do you suddenly know my name?
>> Don't worry about it. And you're welcome >> for >> now. Jacob knows who you are.
>> Justin.
>> Whatever.
>> Jacob.
>> It worked, didn't it?
You're a music major, right? I saw your Instagram.
>> Oh, he's admitting to it. You >> sort of disappear when you play. You love it. I can tell.
>> Don't you love hockey like that?
>> I don't know. It's just something I've always done to impress my dad.
>> And does it?
>> Nothing impresses him.
>> What about your mom?
>> She died. Cancer.
>> Oh, that's so sad.
>> I don't want to pass this class because somebody handed me the grade. I want to earn it. Pretty sure you're the only one who can help me do that.
>> So what? I help you study for the midterm and you play my fake boyfriend to get Justin's attention.
>> Something like that.
>> Wait, I swear. In my mind, I was like, something like that. I swear. Like, what was going to be his response? I was like, something like that. But I didn't say it out loud, but I swear. And that's what he said. Oh my gosh. Okay.
Deal.
>> Don't forget your girlfriend.
>> This is my dance space. This is your dance space.
He's telling her, "Oh my god, he's telling her dancing >> I mean dirty dancing quotes."
>> So this arrangement is mutually beneficial.
>> Transactional.
>> Sure. Deal.
>> Deal.
>> Okay. Well, um, see, I didn't even know it was going to be like the fake dating trope. I should have guessed. Well, honestly, I don't have a lot to say cuz it's like the first episode. Um, they were kind of just, you know, obviously introducing the characters. I'm like getting to know them. So, and they now have let us know basically what the plot is going to be. That last scene kind of got me like, you know, like really excited. Like I'm like, "Okay, let's watch episode 2."
>> 5:00 p.m. Tuesday >> rehearsal. 7:00 a.m. Tuesday >> practice.
>> See, this is why I told you I can't help you. You're busy. I'm busy.
>> Come here, F. All right. 9:00 p.m. the night. I've heard the sounds of wind and fog. Is that a class or a haiku?
>> It's a class. I want to be a film composer.
>> That's cool. Okay, now you have my number. Oh, actually.
>> Whoa. Easy.
>> Wy loosen up if we're dating.
>> It's Hannah.
>> I like Wy. We're going to have to take >> That's cute. Wy.
>> No, we don't. You picture.
>> If we're going to be fake dating, there needs to be real kissing.
>> I just met you.
>> So, what are we going to do? Hold hands?
It's cute, but it's not going to work.
You seriously think that's going to get Justin's attention? Problem is, I don't do girlfriends. Everyone who follows Fifth Line knows that. It's the prior gossip account. If we're going to convince Justin, we got to convince Jules. My best friend's younger sibling.
They run the account. For this plan to work, we have to sell it. Classic first period strategy. Maintain possession of the puck and establish a rule. Throw your opponent off this game. Get the crowd.
>> Sorry, I'm the puck.
>> It's a metaphor. Who's the tutor here?
Find opportunities to crack. Look for rebounds. We showboat our relationship in front of crowds. In front of Justin and especially in front of >> phase three, >> we break up, you cry. This fake relationship is going to destroy you.
>> I love her voice. I don't know why I just >> jump in and pick up all the pieces.
>> You're going to fake cry over me, too, right?
>> Oh, I'll be in consult.
>> That part of like >> it's kind of genius.
>> I mean, I've read so many books.
>> When do we start >> with the fake dating trope? And then I love them. I love them. And honestly, most of them have been hockey romances and I'm always like, would this really happen in real life? Like they make it seem like it would, but like really like now that I've read so many books, obviously I couldn't do it cuz I'd be like, "Oh, we're going to fall in love.
If it were to be like a new concept to me, I don't know if I would do it." But I guess that's why you read books, right? Cuz like it's not very realistic, I guess. I don't know. I don't know. I just I've always wanted to like know if like someone has actually done this in real life. So, if you're watching this and you have done this, um you've experienced it, let me know. And did you end up falling in love with each other?
Hi, I'm Hannah. Gret's tutor. Yeah, sorry it took me so long. No one ever really knows.
>> I'm Jules. Hello, Chucker's sibling.
>> Who are you?
>> Don't tell Jules anything you wouldn't let the whole school knowing.
>> I only record the facts.
>> Wy.
>> Welsie. I love that nickname.
>> We can study in my room.
>> Down here is fine.
>> No, it's better up there. No worries.
Jules, >> no. Actually, I don't need your knowledge.
>> You need to believe that morality was defined by the individual. God is dead or whatever. on the other hand is trying to find what morality was itself. What the duties and obligations of the individual were to begin with.
>> If you know that already, why do you need my help?
>> Well, I mean, right.
>> What I don't understand is how they can be saying different things and we'll still be right.
>> It's not about being right.
>> Just put it on do not deserve. It's annoying.
>> We're just a little predictable. So, we do the same things and we see the same people. We break up and get back together. Like, I'm just trying to shake us out of our routine here.
>> I like our routine. Life's not going to be like this forever. Don't you want more?
>> Yeah, they're definitely going to break up again. It seems like they've done it already, but like for sure.
>> What did we love about Hannah's piece?
>> Classical com matrix. We don't do pop.
Aren't there supposed to be lyrics?
>> I haven't finished it yet again.
>> Try to listen. Sounds a lot like Hannah's films work.
>> Like you're afraid to really get under the surface of what this song wants to be about.
>> Just right.
>> Putting it close, Mr. Brown.
>> Had to stop. Grab coffee from my girl.
>> What's in this? I think you meant to say thanks baby.
>> Just pretend like >> his face.
>> What about now?
>> He's looking now.
>> Come on. It wasn't that bad. It was like a car crash exploded into a volcano and then fell down the stairs loudly.
>> It really was that bad.
>> The annual Maxwell Derentes birthday festivities will take place this year at the Maxwell summer home in Cape Cod as it is our 22nd year gracing the earth.
The theme shall be twofers. Please come dressed as your second favorite dynamic duo after us of course.
>> Hardash.
I would just like to say this is the most absolutely unhinched man and I'm obsessed with it.
>> It could be Beetle Juice.
>> No, you need to show up to someone hot.
>> How dare you? Win Ryder is beautiful.
>> Yeah, but she's not hot.
>> Don't you have any of those boots that go up past the knee? You got it. So fl >> Not all women want to get dressed up for the male gates.
>> The women I'm with.
>> If you want to get Justin's attention, we have to be boy hop, not girl hot. We are coming. I just decided.
>> Yeah, it would be more fun to drive out to the party with you. Anyway, >> you're coming.
>> That wasn't part of the deal.
>> If you're into me, you're into hockey.
What's up with that guy? I need to know already.
>> Can I help you?
>> I'm his philosophy student.
>> Not going easy on Mario. Say good. Do your best. We need him up there.
>> Can't you just speak to his professor?
It is so important that he play.
>> He didn't want me to.
>> What? Why?
>> He wanted to earn it. He said it.
>> You know who his dad is?
>> One of the best defenseman in NHL. His Jared's last name carries weight. So, he busts his ass to prove that he's earned his place.
>> Like everything he just said, the coach.
I'm guessing that's that's his coach and how he explained it like his last name carries weight and there's a lot of pressure on him and he he wants to earn his place. Yeah, that's what I was trying to say earlier, you know, like regarding like his relationship with his dad and everything that accompanies that. Um, so yeah, >> you know, I don't appreciate being made to wait 45 minutes.
>> Hold on. Hold on. I can multitask.
>> I've never met a guy who can genuinely do two things at once.
>> Yeah, guys. Like >> I'm sleeping with the wrong guys.
That was a joke. You know, if we're going to convince anyone that we're cooking up, you can't freak out when I tease you.
>> We fine as long as you stop force feeding me dairy products.
>> Forget your oat milk. This is serious.
You blush whenever I come near you.
>> Get over yourself and don't blush.
>> See? Nothing.
>> Not bad. What about Oh, right. Your turns.
>> Okay.
>> What's wrong, girl?
>> Hello.
>> Don't blush.
I thought they were going to kiss. Like I thought they were just going to I don't know. But they're kissing. Okay.
>> So, this is >> uh he was just trying to prove a point.
>> It kind of feels like I just did.
>> And now it's my turn.
>> What is she going to >> I'm going to kiss you.
>> Okay.
>> What about you now?
>> I love him. what I was going to say, but then they just I got distracted. But um yeah, I've never like Well, yeah, men can't multitask. That's fact. That's it.
That's what I wanted to say. I just wanted to finish my sentence.
>> First game.
>> I know we can seem like a lot, but we don't fight. I swear. Stick by Jules. I mean, their playbyplay was a lifesaver.
My first time. Thanks.
>> Okay. She seems like like a nice girl, you know? Like she's not a mean girl.
problems, >> right?
>> Oh, she looks so cute.
>> You totally nailed boyh.
>> No, not yet, but he'll be here.
>> No thanks. I don't drink.
>> No worries. I'm not a big drink either.
>> So, what's next?
>> It's your favorite, actually.
>> There's just one thing I can't quite figure out. Garrett Graham doesn't do girlfriends. Garrett's tutor. What's really going on?
>> She wants to know the tea. That's her job. Kind of. I guess.
>> Hey babe, where's your Duncan cup?
>> Well, without the cup, you don't look like Ben Affleck. Like, >> oh, she's JLo. I should have guessed from the outfit. Also, maybe maybe I I get her cuz he seems kind of boring. I don't know. Or maybe parties are not his thing. But like, you know, when you don't match up like that, you know what I mean? Is that the word? I don't know.
She just seems more fun, more adventurous. Their personalities don't just don't seem to match. It seems like they've been trying to like make it work, but >> you know, it started with looked at it looking human being sparks blue as they do when people >> Sorry. What What don't you get any of it really? Just different. Not what I would have expected for.
>> Do you guys like dating dates? Well, I mean, we're not like exclusive or anything. Do you see anything not alcohol? It's for >> She doesn't drink. She said not a party.
Here. Clothes cans are safe, bro.
>> I really love him. Like, I love him already. He's not even um the main character, I guess.
>> But he can be kind of sometimes.
>> Yeah. What do you think? He's also funny. Really hard.
>> Yeah, she's definitely getting to see like another side of him.
>> I thought maybe, you know, in case you change your mind. No pressure though.
>> Yeah, actually. Thanks.
Okay. So, they're like definitely hinting at something already.
>> Who is that? I don't know personally, but I'm pretty sure that's JLo.
>> That's really helpful.
>> Yeah, that's not what he meant.
>> Oh my god. Wait, this is me.
>> Okay.
Okay. Cuz I'm like, well, you still have a boyfriend. Where is he, by the way?
What was he doing? Oh, getting the the coffee cup from the car, right? Like, how long does that take unless he left?
But I just don't know why they're like hinting at that when they're like the main characters of book three instead of like hinting at something between like Jon and Grace. I don't think she's going to be appearing in this season, but I don't know. I don't know why she she didn't. so they can hint at the plot of season two or who are going to be the main characters of season two, which I'm guessing they're going to be, right?
Because they're the main characters of book two. Maybe I should read the entire book series after watching this season.
Maybe I should cuz it seems they're going to like mix things up throughout the seasons. Let me know. I don't know.
Maybe I should just read the whole series.
>> Oh my god, Justin's here.
>> Be cool. You're with me.
>> Is he looking?
>> Yeah.
Yeah, he's looking. All right. Oh, she's looking, too. Oh, everyone.
>> You got him interested. Now we got to go.
>> This is the part where I tell you all the things I want to do to you when we're alone.
>> He's so smooth.
>> You're not letting me take the bed?
>> No.
>> I'm not sleeping on the floor.
>> You know, the bed is big enough for two.
>> Absolutely not. You am I?
>> You should take the bed.
>> That looks That looks rough. Like all the bruises. That looks like it hurts so much, but it seems like he's used to it.
He's so cocky. Like he's so I don't know, charming as well. But like Okay.
>> Wait. No. You just give me the best to feel better. I don't need your pity.
>> You just collapsed on it two seconds ago. Take it.
>> I am perfectly capable of sleeping on the floor.
>> So am I.
>> Are they both sleeping on the floor? Oh my gosh.
>> Impressive.
>> Do you always get so beat up out there?
>> Get used to it.
>> How old are you?
>> When I started playing, as soon as I could walk, my dad put skates on.
>> There's a lot of pressure on a kid.
>> Pressure was getting measured once a week to make sure that I was growing fast enough. Chugging protein shakes, lifting weights, missing birthday parties.
>> Why do you still do it?
>> I wouldn't know who I am about it. Seems like you never really had a choice.
>> Yeah.
Oh my gosh. Stop.
>> Turn that off. That's so embarrassing.
>> He obviously doesn't seem to think so.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> Did you write this? It's incredible.
>> In high school >> the other night at the Eastwood game.
>> Oh, >> I was struggling. I heard someone say it. I followed your voice through the tunnels.
You were so like genuine. You heard me.
>> Jules posted us.
>> Let me see. Let me do that. Have you heard Bonnie's cover?
>> Yeah, of course. I'm a man of taste.
>> Yeah. Well, what about Billy Porter's?
>> Who's Billy Porter?
>> Come up here.
>> Will you show me something like your Instagram?
>> I don't write like that anymore.
>> That's crazy.
>> But I I am working on something for showcase, but it's not there yet.
>> It'll get there.
>> Ste, I need to win.
>> You ain't losing that.
>> It means that I you want, which is what happen.
>> Do you have to write the lyrics yourself? Like, can you collaborate?
>> Sure.
>> There's your answer. Ask for help.
Pretentious douches.
>> He is not a pretentious douche.
>> Wait, are you ready for the beaches?
Their punch set will change your life.
>> That's so cute.
What? He's going to move. And he let her stay on the bed. Turned off the lights and everything. Turns out you are a gentleman. Oh, the way he's looking at her. Stop.
Honestly, I love you.
>> Don't tell me he's going to listen to um >> Stop.
Okay. Well, what I was going to say, I keep starting sentences and then I just get distracted. Like I just I have to if I have a thought, I have to pause it. I was going to say I love the she falls first and then he falls harder trope.
But I love so much also the he falls first and then even more he falls harder trope. But like even if it's he falls first, she falls harder. But like the fact that like he's going to fall first.
He's already falling for her. Like come on. So I love that. Oh my gosh. So it's going to get even more like now cuz like he has to keep helping her with Justin. So I want to keep watching.
I still felt like episode two was kind of like just again not like an introduction but we're just you know things are just starting like it's um you know I don't know how to explain it but there were so many cute moments. I want to keep watching it. I just I just I don't know. I feel like I'd be not more invested but already connected to the characters obviously if I had read the book first. I'm going to get there.
I'm going to get there. I just I am rooting for them of course. I guess I just have to keep seeing more of that side of Garrett, you know, the side that Hannah brings out. Well, my light ran out of battery, so I guess I'm just going to have to finish the video like this. But anyways, yeah, now this really makes me wonder if I should have read the series first or at least the first book. At least I'm going to do that for like the next season, you know? I think I've made my decision, though. You guys still let me know, but I think I think I'm going to read the whole off-c campus series. Let me know if you really really would want me to film a reading vlog for that. And just let me know your thoughts and opinions on these first two episodes. I don't know, maybe something to help me get even more excited, I guess, about the show, about these characters, about what's going to happen next, without spoiling anything, of course. But also, let me know your opinions and thoughts if you're someone who hasn't read the series or at least again the first book, cuz I'm curious.
Um, yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I just wish I had more to say. Hopefully things start to pick up now, even more so. But I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
Thank you so much for watching.
Subscribe if you haven't yet. And I guess that's all I have to say. See you guys in my next video. Bye.
