DJ Warras Murder | Case will proceed in the High Court on 18 June

[00:00:00]So the case against Victor Matlala who allegedly orchestrated Warona's murder and Armindo Pacula the DJ's alleged shooter will next sit on the 18th of June at the Johannesburg High Court for pre-trial.

[00:00:21]>> [clears throat] >> While police claim to have found details of Warona's car and those of his partner on Matlala's phone and pictures of the deceased. Pacula whose lawyer was not available due to ill health will now be detained at Modderbee prison for safety concerns. His lawyer previously told the court that his client intended to plead guilty but he wanted to peruse the docket. While this as Warona's family continues to wait for justice in the murder of their son who was gunned down in the Johannesburg CBD in December of 2025.
