Rogue planets drifting through interstellar space can enter solar systems and cause subtle gravitational perturbations that gradually shift planetary orbits, potentially causing Earth to slowly drift away from the Sun without immediate catastrophic events, as the gravitational influence is imperceptible until the orbital changes become significant.

The Planet That Steals Worlds đAjoutĂ© :
Something is drifting between the stars.
No sun pulling it.
No orbit holding it.
Just a cold world moving through empty dark.
And if it slipped into our solar system, we wouldn't notice it at first.
Because gravity doesn't announce itself.
It whispers.
Earth's orbit would begin to stretch.
Just slightly.
Not breaking.
Not crashing.
Just shifting.
Days would still feel normal.
The sky would still look familiar.
But seasons would [music] start arriving wrong.
Winter lingering a little too long.
Summer never quite reaching its peak.
And oceans responding in silence.
Slowly losing their balance with the air above them.
No alarms.
No impact.
No visible change.
Just Earth quietly falling [music] out of rhythm.
A normal day would still happen.
Birds would still sing.
People would still walk under the same sky.
And nothing would feel wrong. Until the pattern becomes impossible to ignore.
And by then, Earth wouldn't be where it used to be.
It would already be slipping away [music] from the sun's stable distance.
Not violently, but permanently.
And far out in the dark, that rogue world keeps moving.
Not chasing anything.
Not targeting anything.
Just passing through.
As if planets losing their place is just another day in the universe.
Or worse, as if it has happened before.
So many times, no one was left to remember.
How many times has this already happened without anyone here to notice?
