My husband followed me to antenatal

[laughter] So we are going to get there to the hospital today for my antinata and I'm currently 29 I think 29 weeks and some days today. My appointment was for Monday but I'm going on Wednesday. I think after today my antinanta will now be to two weeks instead of the monthly antinanta that I do. So guys let's go together. I have a lot of questions I want to ask the doctor. So as I'm going I will type them out so that I won't forget. So let's go.

[00:00:47]So guys, we just got to the hospital here and I went to the receptionist to give her [music] my card so that I can collect my number. She gave me number 24 and now the next thing I have to do is to do my vital. So when I get to the [music] hospital, the first thing is to go to the reception, collect my number or register, [music] whatever I want to do. Then I collect a number. Then I do my vitals. Then after [music] the vitals, I go ahead to do the scan. So on this day, the the screen at my front was not working. It's only the screen that was working. Thank god my husband followed me. So he was the one that [music] did this video. Most times when I'm lying down like that, I just [music] record from the front. My husband said he does not understand the scan. The guy was always too fast. He just measure the necessary things. This is not like a detailed [music] scan just to check the growth of the baby and he will send it to the doctor. So we are in the gynecologist office now. So he's a little bit busy.

[00:01:50]So he said we should give him like 1 minute that you will attend to us. So these are the things I wrote down that I want to ask the doctor. I'm not sure you can see it clearly but when I start asking the question you will hear what h say >> no just give me a newspaper >> yes sir um I feel pressure >> yes >> are you surprised >> it was strange >> strange >> yes because >> the car is on your head or where is it I'm just asking where is is in my tummy.

So as you are getting out of the car you are holding something or you in a pipes as you are coming down you are holding something until >> you get yourself stabilized but usually once you walk few m >> yes >> I also want to ask that the position of the baby is the baby head down okay uh let me check the turn from 26 weeks According to the SP now baby is still sitting down but I'm more worried >> sitting the head is >> I thought the head is down that's why I'm feeling >> the head is down here so I usually feel more 30°.

What what I want something doesn't know the president of Nigeria and he's asking I just want to know you mention and whether the answer is correct or it's not correct I'll tell you see you don't know the way to expect a tele what should be particular about this.

[00:05:02]So therefore from the scan we're expecting about that 29 weeks.

[00:05:09]So if you get that yes that's telling but if by your date you are supposed to be 29 the SC is now giving 26.

[00:05:23]Then you have reason to be worried that ah supposed to be 29 now it's 26 wise is me that know what to expect >> your is when baby is coming out we expect it to be the other three cons something ahead so it's when we are close to that that worry so she's trying to just give me 29 weeks which is in keeping to what we expect.

[00:05:57]>> The weight is 1.2 which is a keeping to what I expect.

[00:06:05]Do you understand what I'm saying? But the point I'm making is you don't know the correspond what weight at this age.

[00:06:13]So you want to base it on that then you be covering yourself.

[00:06:18]M the fact that by your date you 29 and the SC is giving you 29 which 2 days you know that okay >> you're going to ask cuz she's going for NYC so I was thinking that if you get to camp and tell them cuz I don't treat their condition that will be needing probably a letter from the doctor or something like that.

[00:06:56]I can draft a letter to explain that pregnancy.

I just want to be sure like what are the things I should be wearing >> that should be >> that I should be preparing to >> the bet what is expected of you is all the support the physical the psychological the social. Yes, that's what we expect because pregnancy on it own is a bond of discomfort.

[00:07:56]But when you provide all those support, it makes her take it like you. But when those support are not there, you face your face is alone and the burden becomes more. You know when one fall down and people say I'm sorry you fail again but you fall down nobody anybody more that when somebody sorry I didn't get I hope you know so that's how it is >> okay the last question is that most I sleep on my I'm more comfortable sleeping on my right so but most time before I wake up I will see myself sleeping on my back and it's very comfortable for me.

[00:08:45]>> So as much as possible you ensure that doesn't lie on your back. You can sleep on any side.

[00:08:54]Now why do we prevent you from sleeping on your back?

[00:08:59]The blood vessels that bring blood from the two legs that bring blood to the heart converge I mean converge together here get come together around here supply blood to heart. So when you lie on your back like this that weight rest on that ve you understand and indirectly reduce the blood flow to the heart and if less drug is close to the heart of course less [music] blood to be pumped around the body. So we cause low blood pressure supine hypertension. So don't blood I mean don't blood we get to your brain it can make human feel and blood will get to the baby you understand. So that's why we encourage you can sleep on any site.

[00:10:08]>> After I was done with the gynecologist, I proceeded to collect my routine drug and they gave me the drug for 2 weeks because I've graduated to 2 weeks. So, these are the drugs they gave me.

[00:10:18]Usually, it's calcium, folic acid, and iron. I will not even lie, most of the ones they gave me for 1 month, I don't finish it at all. It's still at home.

[00:10:30]Yesterday was the day we went for the antinatal and it went well.

[00:10:37]It went well. So initially I wanted to I even requested for my scan results and why I requested for it was that when I go for ant I don't see my scan results and you know when you go online especially on Tik Tok and you see people say oh at 29 weeks your baby should be this at 29 weeks your position of your baby should be that. I'm always like wanting to know what mine is but because I don't have the scan results so I don't really know. So most times I'm just like in the dark. So that's why I requested for it. But when I asked the doctor, he told me. So I was like there's no point collecting the results anymore because the result they said they can't give me a hard copy that they can only send it to by mail. So they I was told to drop the mail at the receptionist. But I did not drop it because there were a lot of people there. I think the Wednesday is the immunization and people that came for other things aside from pregnancy related stuff. So it was it went well.

[00:11:48]My aunt is now every 2 weeks. I'm happy because I'm finally coming to the end of this journey and I think very soon it will now be weekly. Yeah, I guess so.

[00:12:02]But I don't know when it will become weekly but I know when I'm close to maybe like 37 36 maybe it will be weekly.

[00:12:11]Yes. So that's all I want to say. By the time you are seeing this video I'm sure like everything would have ended in praise and testimony. I believe in God and I'm praying earnestly for my baby to come out early.

[00:12:28]When I mean early, as soon as the baby is mature. If the baby is mature, 37 weeks, one day the baby should come.

[00:12:35]That's what I pray. Like I can't even imagine imagine waiting till like 41 42. Some people wait like 41 weeks 42 weeks before they finally do induction. I don't want to do that. So I'm very I'm praying. So join your faith with me. I want my baby to come out early, like very early. And I want the weight I don't want the weight to be too big. I don't like shubby baby because look at me I'm very small. Imagine carrying baby that is like let's say quarter of my weight. So I don't want a chubby baby.
