Congress Attempts Pass Bill Integrating US and Israeli MilitariesAdded:
Congress is attempting to fully intertwine the US and Israeli militaries, further enmeshing the two warmonger nations under one colonial banner, one that reads Israel first. A bill is currently moving through Congress that would integrate the US and Israeli militaries in unprecedented ways through a secret buried provision that would cover joint research and development, the shared production of weapons, and the linking of military systems and data. The House of Representatives unveiled the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act at the end of May, a $1.14 trillion budget increase for the Pentagon of historic proportions. It serves as a massive refueling for the US war machine, and hidden deep within the bill under Section 224 is a clause called the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, an initiative that would all but fuse the two countries' armed forces together. This provision would call for expanded US-Israeli coordination in defense tech, including AI, quantum, autonomous systems, directed energy, cyber, and biotech. The US defense secretary will also appoint an executive agent to coordinate military cooperation between the US and Israel. So, Israel gets a direct representative in US government.
It also proposes network integration and data fusion, which would allow Israel to access the US military's data. But, on top of all of that, it also seeks to hide the amount of aid the US actually sends to Israel. These billion-dollar weapons packages Congress votes on would no longer be made transparent for the American people. It will now be considered opaque machinery of defense acquisition, where oversight is limited and political accountability is minimal.
So, Israel maintains the billions it receives in military aid from the US, and it now has access to military data and information on top of that. Where is the benefit to the US? How does this provision help the US military in any way?
It doesn't. This is the result of Israeli influence in politics and the proclivity of Israel first politicians.
The occupation state gets to siphon off our resources, send American men to die in its wars, and have full representation in American government.
America is occupied.
