The shift to fiber-optic drones is a clever tactical response to electronic jamming, showcasing how physical resilience can overcome digital dominance. However, framing incremental technological adaptations as a definitive "secret weapon" ignores the broader strategic complexities of a war of attrition.

Ukraine CAN’T BE DEFEATED! SECRET WEAPON is readyAdded:
267 combat engagements have been recorded by the general staff since the beginning of the day. The toughest spot is the Pocrosk section of the front.
There the enemy launched 47 attacks.
They are actively attacking several directions in Donetsk Costantin, Kromatsk and Lyman. A total of 18 attacks. The situation is tense on the Juliaole section. The Russians attacked and assaulted our positions 21 times in Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 attacks in the Kkefe region. According to the general staff, the Russians have several directions of advance there. These are Kupansk and Vchanska. Let's find out more about the operational situation in the Borova area. Joining us live is Mikola Volokov, the commanding officer of the terror group within the third army corps. Mr. Mikola, greetings to you. A very good morning.
Greetings to you and glory to Ukraine.
>> Glory to the heroes. So, first we see a QR code on the screen. Let me ask you, how much are we raising and what for?
>> I'll tell you about it now. We are raising 450,000 HRAS to modify 100 FPV kamicazi drones. These wonderful FPV drones right here. Right now, friends, we have a big problem. We need to make these drones capable of flying over 40 km. What are we doing to achieve this?
To do this, we are collecting donations via the QR code or the card number. You can donate using the QR code below. And we are modifying the drones we already receive from the government so that they are optimally resistant to enemy electronic warfare. And that's how everything works now. The deeper the drone flies in, the stronger the enemy's electronic warfare suppresses it and the radio signal doesn't get through. The pilot loses control. The pilot loses the video feed. and at a distance of about 35 kilometers or more are the best targets. That's where the Russian tanks are. That's where the Russian artillery is. That's where their operational ammunition depots are. And we really want to burn all of that so it doesn't have any chance of reaching our frontline positions. And so it turns out to be an interesting calculation. You donate what seems like a small amount compared to the price of a drone. A good drone that can reach such a distance costs 50,000 fnas or more. You donate your 10 or even just two hivvenas and then we buy equipment that isn't that expensive again compared to the price of a drone and together with you we make it so that this drone can reach such a long distance. Right now this is extremely important because the greenery has come in and the enemy has additional camouflage. This gives them the ability to hide themselves better. And in order to locate enemy equipment and enemy infantry we need a very high quality image and a very reliable connection. So friends, I ask all of you, please donate for FPV drone components. Let's work together to make absolutely sure that each of these FPV drones can fly not just 20 or 30, but a full 40 km and find its intended target there. Also friends, sometimes it happens that the complete wall of electronic warfare makes it absolutely impossible for us to reach our target. And that's when we use nanopiber optic coils. This little device is attached to the drone. And here there's a thin fishing line. So the signal is transmitted not by radio frequency through the air but through this cable and then it's absolutely impossible to jam this drone in any way.
And the math is pretty simple. 150 gets you 100 m of this cable and that means the drone is guaranteed to reach its target. Once again friends I want to emphasize that the Russians are still not giving up on their attempts to attack. And as for the spring offensive, well, I think it's safe to say now that they weren't able to carry it out, but we still have summer ahead. A favorable season for them to launch an offensive, and we are monitoring very closely to ensure that the enemy cannot bring any equipment up to the line of contact. And you can help us a great deal with this mission. Yeah, your generous donations make it possible to create these amazing drones that the enemy doesn't know how to counter. and they can't even bring their infantry units up to our guys on the front line. And I want to remind you that when these drones destroy the occupier, they are not just eliminating the enemy, they are saving the lives of those people who are on the front line at that moment. So I ask everyone to donate. You can see the card number and QR code on the screen. Let's destroy the Russian forces. Let's save the lives of our brave friends, your friends, and our beloved relatives. And let's accelerate Ukraine's victory together.
Absolutely, Mr. Mikola. I'll also add that the QR code is on the screen. The bank account number is on the screen.
Any donation helps, even the smallest one. You know this and we must help the front. A person is either serving at the front lines or for the front. As long as we are not on the front line as long as I emphasize, we must provide support with all our strength and at least with some small donations.
Mr. Mikola, you know, just as mothers have asked, fathers have asked, and we are asking too.
Please donate. It's very easy to do. Mr. McCall, I have a question. The Russians and their resources have started again.
You know, they're always creating fakes and now they've been constantly talking for over a week already about supposedly capturing Bova. On May 18th, UN analysts later refuted this. But the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration noted that unfortunately due to constant strikes by glide bombs and MLRS the settlement I mean Borova is being practically wiped off the face of the earth. So let me ask you what is the real situation now in the settlement and in the direction of Borova and how do your fighters manage to hold the defense under such difficult conditions?
>> Well, let me start with the very good news. Bova continues to hold out, being steadfastly defended by Andre Billeski's core. And no matter how many statements the Russians make, it seems to me that either their newsmakers or their generals are simply dreaming about it happening. They wake up in the morning and before they've recovered from their evening partying, they report that Bova has been taken. But then, as they start to come to their senses and look at the map, it turns out that's not the case.
After all, Borova remains firmly under the control of the defense forces. And friends, I want to say that no matter what the Russians write, you should always verify with Ukrainian sources.
For example, deep state also does a very good job of showing what is actually happening on the front line and with a fairly minimal delay. However, there is also some sad news. Indeed, this city is gradually turning into complete ruins and it's already impossible to live there. Back when we first arrived at this line, people in Borova were still living more or less normally. There were shops, Nova Pushta, and the military could not only hold their positions there, but also live there overall. Now, that's no longer possible. The settlement, well, I wouldn't say it's been completely destroyed because it's very difficult to totally destroy such a large place, but it's already impossible to live there. And I want to address all Ukrainians, if you are in such settlements, please evacuate. The simplest thing, reach out to the military. It doesn't matter who is driving by in a car. They will always help you help you evacuate and live in Ukraine in that part of Ukraine where there isn't such a terrible situation right now about holding the defense. What is the logic now? We are following the concept of the commander of the third army corps Andre Billetki. We need to keep the enemy at the maximum possible distance.
And in fact this concept is what I was talking about regarding these drones.
Why is it important for them to have long range? Because if the enemy has already approached the settlement, managed to bring in tanks, artillery, and infantry, then holding them back becomes extremely difficult. And probably that's why Borova is holding out so well because we manage to keep the enemy at a sufficient distance from the city. So we don't have to deal with the problem when their infantry has already entered and their artillery is firing at it. But instead, we address the issue before all of that even arrives. And I, friends, am addressing all the viewers. You can join the team of the territorial defense forces, the team of the third army corps in defending the town of Borova by donating via the QR code or the card number. Your generous donations will help these drones actively intercept and neutralize the enemy long before they reach Borova, thereby ensuring the defense of this town. I want to remind you that holding Borova is critically important. Bova is located on the Oscll River and in fact it serves as a gateway, a huge crossing over the Oscll River. The Russians have been unable to cross the Oskll for over a year now and Borova remains the critical key which is why we must hold it. If they manage to cross the Oskll they they will essentially have a direct road to Isium and Kharkiv. We absolutely cannot allow this to happen. Dear friends, please donate. Help us and these crucial drones ensure that the Russians have no chance of crossing the Oscill.
>> The QR code is on the screen. The bank account number is on the screen. Please join in. scan the QR code or write down the bank account number. We continue our conversation with Mikola Volkov. Mr. Mikola, you openly say that the Russians have more drones and extremely powerful electronic warfare systems and how does Ukraine compensate for this numerical advantage? Could you please tell us in more detail about the most recent technological solutions and if possible about the upcoming developments of ground robotic systems? you know the next big thing right in logistics and holding positions.
>> I'm happy to discuss that. Well, first I won't put on rosecolored glasses for myself or the viewers and claim everything is better or more abundant here. Let's put it this way. There is a simple logic to war. When you have more of everything and everything is better, you win. And that's the only indicator that shows what your real results are.
So you win and say, "I had more of everything and everything was better."
And unfortunately, that's exactly the calculation the Russians made when they attacked our country because they thought they had more of everything and that everything would work out for them.
But there is also good news at this stage, just based on a purely subjective feeling. If before when you looked at reports or talk to people who were at the positions yesterday, they would say they have more drones. Now everything is starting to reach some kind of par.
Thank god a lot of Ukrainian manufacturers of aerial drones have appeared and now everything is reaching some kind of parity and in terms of quality we have an excellent system of innovation. Well, at least I'll speak about Andre Bitki's unit where we have an R&D center and we independently work on developing innovations. And friends, your donations, by the way, help us tremendously to do this. And in terms of quality, we even always stay a little ahead of the Russians because for us, after all, this is a defensive war and we know what we are fighting for. More initiative, more faith in our own righteousness leads us to create innovations. And you friends can donate to these innovations using the card number and QR code. And then we won't have, let me be honest, even though we'll still have more aerial drones, they can be of higher quality. And that's more important. Let's move on to the second component, ground robotic systems. For us, this is absolutely essential because it is ground robotic systems that help reduce infantry losses. That is, while you can't replace an infantryman on the front line with an aerial drone, you can replace him with a robotic system. For example, a combat one equipped with a mounted machine gun.
Let me put it in simple terms. Instead of infantry on the front line, we had unique cases where a single robotic system held a position on its own for over a month. Of course, it was serviced and reloaded. It hasn't learned to do that on its own yet, but there was minimal infantry there, and they only came when absolutely necessary. And as a result, this saved human lives.
Moreover, 30% of all infantry in the third army corps right now we are able to replace well let me put it as it is not the infantry themselves but infantry functions because this also includes logistics. In reality the most dangerous moment is when you are in a dugout at the positions but when you are traveling there you are exposed in an open field and also moving making you very visible to aerial drones. And it is possible to replace up to 30% of the functions.
There is a vision that over time it will be possible to replace even more. I think that we are unlikely to reach 100% because after all these robots still require human maintenance but achieving 50% is quite possible. That's why robotic complexes are the kind of bet that just a year ago, let's put it this way, 3 years ago it seemed like pure science fiction. And a year ago, it seemed like something we had, which was cool, but we wouldn't have much of it.
And at this very moment, it's something that is proving to be incredibly effective. And we're actually setting new world records in logistics, in what is being delivered to the front lines, and in the rapid evacuation of the wounded. And it is truly difficult for you to even begin to imagine, my friends, just how much benefit this brings. Your generous donations allow us to experiment. They allow us, for example, to purchase components like these. I'll show you and explain everything right now. So, we buy these kinds of components from China, not very expensive boards, innovative ones that have just recently been released. We buy them, try installing them on drones, try installing them on ground robotic systems, and see what happens. And very often, we end up creating something that doesn't exist anywhere else yet, something the Russians don't have, and then we share it with the government, show it to them, and say, "Look, this works effectively on the battlefield."
And then the government scales it up.
But it all starts with your donations, with the fact that you trust us and with the fact that you give us the opportunity to conduct these experiments, friends. And I ask you not to just take my word for it. Go to the Telegram channel of Unit T. Go to the Telegram channel of the Third Army Corps and see for yourselves how all of this works. I would like you to support those units you trust and for your trust to be based on objective results. And it turns out that together with you, we are creating those innovations that overcome the Russian numerical advantage in drones. And here's another interesting fact. The Russians always had more of everything while we had better quality.
And it was better quality precisely thanks to your support.
