Scientists have documented a severe global decline in plankton populations, with over 54% disappearing worldwide and losses exceeding 2% annually; this collapse threatens marine ecosystems as plankton produce over 70% of Earth's oxygen and form the foundation of ocean food chains, with some ocean regions like the central Pacific and Atlantic experiencing complete ecosystem death.

The collapse of a marine ecosystem, what dose this mean for humanity?Hinzugefügt:
why you're unable to join there. If you look through your notifications, you actually should have it.
And I do not know why you're not seeing that.
It is.
I don't know. Again, I'll wait for Herman. he's still having problems.
But uh over the over the last 8 to 10 years, we've been constantly speaking about the collapse of plankton in erosion and what that actually means. And the numbers plankton numbers at this stage in different areas around the world are absolutely collapsing.
uh you know the what that actually means to humanity is absolutely terrifying. Uh you know and the problem with it of course the boy that cried wolf there for years and you know if you look at the Al Gors and everyone else that constantly said you know about rising sea levels and all this nonsense and of course the way that has affected uh the way that has affected people. One second. Now, let me try Herman again.
I'm not sure what Herman is doing that he's unable to join here. Um, you should be able to look back through your notifications, Herman, and you should be able to find it, but I'm going to continue just in case Herman is unable to join, which I I don't know why he'd be having issues.
But today, plankton numbers globally are down over 54%.
Over 70% of the oxygen we actually breathe comes from these small plants and animals inside the ocean. There is an area in the central Pacific now that is half the size of the Atlantic Ocean that's absolutely dead. There's no life in it.
There's a similar area in the center of the Atlantic Ocean that is nearly as big as the Mediterranean that's also dead as well. Something similar in the Indian Ocean. Massive areas that there's actually no life in. Now what's happening globally because of that of course like the acidization inside the ocean everything is changing changing changing quickly really really quickly.
It's estimated this year it could be anything as high as 5% of the pl of the uh of the plant cell die this year.
The European Union is planning in finally after they pushing that we were spreading misinformation for years are finally going to come out over the next week to 10 days and actually agree with what we're saying. They crank the numbers.
