[00:01:34]Um so I can let you guys in on some exciting news. Um I told you guys about the reseller catch-ups that are going to be taking place around Australia um organized by eBay. And uh so I got to speak to the team on uh Monday on Monday. And um I will be when when and if they happen, I'll be the host for the eBay reseller catch-ups for the Toowoomba area and I'll keep you guys posted. I'd love to see some of the Flip Fam showing up. We'll be exchanging ideas, talking about reselling and trying to help each other become better at what we do.

[00:02:18]My understanding is the events will be catered to a small extent but obviously we can all catch up regardless and have a bit of fun with that. So I'm nervous because it's stuff I haven't done before but I do think it'll be important for us to all network and get into it and I think it's awesome that eBay are behind that initiative.

[00:02:39]I'll keep you guys posted though like I've been told by a email that they're keen for me to do it and I've also been in touch with eBay regarding live selling. I'm waiting on some paperwork to come through but so at the moment it's white listed which means you've got to be invited um and I'm lucky enough that uh I guess because of the the YouTube stuff and other bits and pieces that the eBay live team have said if I want to want to do live selling that they would be happy to have me on the platform doing that. So that means we're in a really good position here guys to learn for me to share that information of how it works, all that sort of stuff kind of like without all the referral codes I don't think they exist um like what not had but as as you guys know people used my referral code as long as I got in touch with me. I did my best to help them. I wasn't always able to answer everything but I will always do my best so once I get access to the back end of how the eBay live works if it's information that I'm allowed to share cuz it's all very new.

[00:03:48]They may like I said there's some paperwork being sent, so there may be NDAs in there, non-disclosures, I don't know. Um but the whole point of uh you know, the Geelong Flipper channel is to share information, so I'm stoked with that. I'm very grateful to eBay for entrusting me. Uh I know there's plenty of other people doing it. It's not I'm being Not that I'm being singled out or anything like that, guys. Um there's plenty of other people selling live. Um you know, it looks like they're having a lot of fun doing it, too. Um so I'm just glad that I'm going to be able to be one of the early people, which means I can make the mistakes, show you guys the mistakes, and then hopefully you don't have to make those mistakes.

[00:04:41]Um so we're just going to do a little bit here, and then maybe do do some work from home, or maybe chill. Uh we've had some pretty early mornings. I don't know if tradies big thumbs up.

[00:04:55]I mean, I I did a little bit of gardening and landscaping many years ago now, uh working for myself, but I never got up at like 5:00 to be at a site by whatever. I just sort of showed up at 8:00, 9:00.

[00:05:11]If anything else happens during the uh the day, of course, I'll let you guys know. Sales have been crap, so I'll just get that out of the way. Sales have been crap. Um I'm getting maybe one to two sales a day at the moment. Uh we've got a lots of listing done. We're trying to get that machine up and running again, and I'll let you guys know, as always, how we're going with everything. Okay. Okay.

[00:05:39]All right, legends. So I'm actually going to tell you Well, I just got a sale. It was very very very very small, and it's our only one for the day. And this is why the other day when I was talking about reselling how it isn't as glamorous or whatever as some YouTube people would make you think. It's It's the best job ever. It is. But um like today, we just had an $8 sale and I took it took an offer.

[00:06:02]Um and it's for this. So, this is a Matchbox Jurassic Park vehicle. And uh yeah. So, the thing I do love about these though is I bought them for roughly 20 cents each. So, 20 cents into eight bucks, that's a good sale. Sometimes when I'm buying them in bulk though, I've And you guys have seen, I have actually found um vehicles that um go for 60, 70 bucks, 20 bucks for 20 cents. So, I always whenever I see um diecast being sold like in a bulk lot, I always try to get my hands on them because you never know when you might need that rainy day for some stock. Um and it may sound silly cuz you know I've I know I've got thousands of them, but so there's thousands of opportunities.

[00:06:54]Whilst I'm chatting to you, I was I wasn't going to chat about it because I don't have the microphone, but I wanted to also um show you guys or tell you. I don't know if they're here that I I can show you.

[00:07:05]Um but Ali had some banging wins.

[00:07:10]Um with uh some stuff that was purchased recently and she said you should show people and I'd forgotten. So, thank you, sweetheart. And she's just getting them ready for me now.

[00:07:23]Um which one is the the >> So, that one there has got an It's It looks like an old grandma watch.

[00:07:33]>> But it's that's nine-carat gold casing. And it doesn't say nine-carat gold on the actual back of it. You actually have to take apart the casing first and look inside and it's marked as 375 9-carat gold inside.

[00:07:51]>> That's awesome. So, and I think it she picked it up for like five bucks or something like that.

[00:08:16]Um a particular uh model number I can't remember what it is, but we'll be putting up that up for somewhere between $700 to $1,000, I think, from memory roughly, something like that.

[00:08:36]I got it is a a cute little vintage vintage watch, I think, probably '60s or '70s, something like that.

[00:09:18]Um and yeah, it's just stuff that you see.

[00:09:22]Often they'll just have them chucked in a box. So, always make sure you're checking. Do your research, guys. Please do your research. Just cuz we're saying it doesn't mean you should be doing it necessarily.

[00:09:38]>> learn how to do that yourself. It's very easy.

[00:09:41]Um and the vintage watches, they are the wind-up and and they move They keep going with your movement.

[00:09:53]Okay. So, just in case you didn't hear my beautiful wife, um the gold watches were wind-up. They're kinetic. You know, they wind when you move your your hand, but we're going to have to get a battery to put in the Rado one. It's nice to send it One's nice to test the damn thing, but also to send it working to the buyer.

[00:10:11]That is pretty cool as well. And like Ali said, it's not so it's not so intimidating with some watch brands to change the battery yourself, but if you're not sure, watch place is if you've got a really good one, it's not expensive to have them do it for you, either. So, just food for thought. Food for thought.

[00:10:41]All right, guys. So, it's now later in the day. It's like dark outside. But um we picked up a parcel from Grand Central the post office. And when I saw who it was from, my face lit up. It was from my dear friend and your friend, too, but channel member Sharon Newjoy, who you guys heard at least in the videos up in Mackay. She sent this beautiful card for us and honest to god, it made me tear up soon as I opened it.

[00:11:15]It made me feel really special.

[00:11:18]Newjoy, I love you, mate. Thank you so very much. And she sent some presents, too. So, well, definitely no Care Bear was left behind. So, I've got some new Carries.

[00:11:36]And then we also got This is gorgeous. We're going to put some little flowers or something in a little kitty cat thing.

[00:11:45]But this is the one that made me laugh.

[00:11:48]But it's also almost the highlight for me. So as you guys know when I was in Mackay my main thing was I'd hang out at the um the Caneland uh shopping center because it was cool when I could not like have a go at me I'm cool but literally it was cool from the heat and um I'd go and eat sushi and read books. And uh she found a Caneland Central coffee mug and sent it to me.

It was just Ali and I staying out of the house so as the painters could get in and paint the entire house and they did a great job. So that's all. There's nothing wrong guys. I do love the fact you guys care enough to check in. I've received quite a few messages now. I'm extremely grateful for the care. It's nice to love and be loved.
