Sorry. Um yeah, basically win cement second spot or basically match or better Chelsea basically as I was saying going into today we are second but if we were to lose and Chelsea would win against Man United Chelsea would then take second we'd have to qualify for Champions League Zig and not them.
I'd rather see them stuff and start early than us. So, and [clears throat] big big news today obviously since we were last live um for midweek the midweek game against we've had more uh more breaking news more another departure has been announced by the club and shockingly they listened to me this time but she is the face of our graphic today on the Arsenal admin side of things Katie McCabe after the ins and outs of didn't want to want to keep it go away to last minute contract talks apparently going processing well uh literally not even 24 hours after the final whistle went on Thursday night whilst we were whilst George was live with his panel and all that for the Thursday night show um as to announce that Kate McC was leaving end of the season which has caused a bit of a stir in our fan base in terms of why couldn't they done up prior cuz obviously now it's basically the vid there was videos going around in the morning came crying. We all assumed cuz what we were told at the time we all assumed it was a matter of her just being upset to see her her friends go. Now no it turns out um it wasn't the case obviously. [snorts] So yeah it the thing is of why couldn't we had Katie M and Beth and the others get them moments etc at the Emirates for the last time. Everyone else got it. Katie hasn't been given an opportunity basically not properly in the sense of she may be knew clearly but us as fans didn't have that opportunity to have that final goodbye with her properly at the Emirates. So that's going to be interesting um how Arsenal will get them get themselves out of that mess they've caused. But yeah, as you can see obviously Arsel wearing the away kit today or third or third kit or whatever they call it the white kit. Van Dash is back in goal. We've got Emily Fox, Rivenoy, Li Kadina, and Katie McCabe starts as well. And she's been given the captain's armband for the final time along with Pova, Mariana Cane, and Russo as a midfield trio. Then we got Bora Williamson, Seth Catley, blood deal, uh, Hines, Smeberg, Kim Little, Freda Mumm, Chloe Kelly, and Olivia Smith making up the bench basically. Just change this on. So, it didn't make sense for her to get the final home game. Again, I mean, definitely I know again we got nothing to fight for in terms of trophy wise now. We've already got the we got the one, but we would have want like more, but didn't get that. But yeah, it's just a bit uh I don't know.
I'm I'm a bit my mindset is a bit old school like just play your strongest team basically. Again, maybe maybe Dafany came over came over real maybe on the day. I don't know.
But again, I'm not going to disrespect Bora either because Borba has been a big part of the re big part of our season really when Dafany had a massive setback injury wise and took her out for about what two and a half are they two and a half it felt like two and a half three months anyway might be might be less than that might be over dramatizing it but she been a big part she came in after a preseason debut didn't go to the plan the first the competitive competitive debut onwards.
So B actually saved us in games massively at crucial points when it's nil nil or 1 nil etc. She made big big saves. And again, part of the reason why a big part of the reason why we won the Club World Cup in that minute in um back in February was because of her performances basically. Let's be brutally honest.
So, I'm not going to disrespect her or nothing like that cuz she has been solid solid when we needed her to come in and do her job. sort of very reminiscent to the men's team in 9798 when David Seaman got injured for for a sustainable period. Alex Maninga came into deputize and was absolutely solid as a rock basically and literally perform performed out of his backside in every competition going as a big and a huge reason why I asked and won the double that year in the end let the league.
So yeah, massive respect to her. I just don't get the rotation at the end of the season when there's literally no finals this that and the other to sort of rotate for.

And the way that I heard it is that if you finished first or second in the WSL 2, you get the WSL promotion and then there would be playoffs happening, but I thought it was going to be like first one coming up and then if you finished second and third, you would be going off going into playoffs with 11 and 12. Well, actually like or or let me let me rephrase this. I think what I understood it to be I'm trying to think of my words again. Um I'm half a cup in half a cup of coffee in. That'll tell you where I'm at right now. Um, one and two automatically get promoted and they fill out teams 13 and 14 of the WSL. And then if you finished 12th in the WSL this season, you get an automatic relegation. You aren't going to have a chance to stay in the WSL. You are because you were that crap. You are staying in the WSL too for that season.
But then if you finished 11th in the WSL, you would be going into a playoff.
But that's the way that I thought it was going to be cuz like why why I mean well in all honesty the way that Lester's been playing they probably would get relegated anyway in the playoff especially against a team that really wants to be um in the in the WFL.
