The video offers a sophisticated synthesis of solar data, yet it frequently pivots from empirical observation into speculative catastrophism regarding Earth's magnetic field. It serves as a prime example of how legitimate space weather monitoring can be framed to support a fringe narrative of planetary instability.

Solar Watch, Ring Current at Earth, Sunspot Cycle | S0 News May.7.2026追加:
Good morning folks. Welcome observers.
It is Thursday, May 7th, 2026 and today we're going to look at the solar cycle and where we are in it. We've got a river in Tibet redrawing its bed. a brand new space mission poised to deliver a new kind of data stream. And we are starting as always with the last 24 hours on our star where the small coronal holes are turning through. We didn't have much in the way of eruptive behavior. Shouldn't be much variability in the solar wind. The sunspots right now aren't doing much of anything, but our focus will be on what's coming in just behind the limb now. Definitely some more eruptive activity back there and turning this way. Should be visible by this weekend. Folks, here's the latest sunspot numbers. With each passing month, it looks more and more like it'll be a single peak sunspot maximum, and we are heading for the decline. Remember, geomagnetic storm maximum is in the declining phase, and so is the proton storm maximum. Most phases do tend to bring something interesting. The minimum brings cosmic rays. Maximum brings flares and sunspots. The decline, which we're entering now, has the strongest protons and storm conditions. We have indeed finally broken the streak, by the way, of declining solar cycle power after four decades. Onto the river, the Yarlong Zangbo River in Tibet is constantly redrawing itself. The bedrock below acts as a table for shifting sands and soils to be moved around easily. We see similar action over longer time scales with other rivers, but the sharp curves here initiate further motion in the stream flow and it's caught itself in a bit of a loop. Today's top story is in fact story. Story is a mission to study the Earth's ring current, the powerful electric flow nestled within the famous Van Allen radiation belts.
And during powerful solar storms, this current can amplify, expand, and actually leak down into the atmosphere.
We have seen this leaky ring current drive rare auroras too often recently, and it's going to get worse. The amplification and expected exacerbation are due to the ongoing magnetic pole shift, the weakening of the magnetic field, the amplification of solar impact to the Earth. Folks, about 1 in 20 of you watched the videos from the last two nights. Two nights ago, we cut the extra stuff from the live stream and Jeff's left the substance. Last night, the one you're looking at now, we shared a preview of the videos from opening weekend at Observer Ranch. We'll be doing live event previews the next couple evenings here. And don't forget, since pretty much everyone here has been informed on the disaster cycle, the ongoing poll shift, and most of you don't need to be further informed, only half of you are working with the philosophy that every expert and every one of you has said is the only way you're going to survive what's coming.
Master the disaster. And also, only about half of you are prepping. Food, water, seeds, and medical supplies come first. 10% off with the code solar at checkout. Links to both of those are below. Link to master the disaster is below as well. We greatly appreciate your support. We'll do this all again tomorrow. Right here, but right now at 6:00 a.m. in the new Valley of the Sun.
Eyes open. No fear. Be safe, everyone.
