This Moment Isn't About What You Think It's About

[00:00:00]Everyone thinks this moment is about politics or the culture wars or whatever the latest crisis is, but that's just the surface layer. Underneath, something else is happening, something very ancient. And most importantly, it's something far more coordinated than you might think.

[00:00:17]Today I want to decode the real story beneath all of the noise. I'm not talking about the headlines. In fact, I'm talking about the actual machinery that explains every single headline you've ever read.

[00:00:31]Let's talk about it.

[00:00:34]>> [music] >> Welcome back, wanderers. It's Elly again. Every era of human existence has had some kind of a distraction layer that has been placed on top of its reality. It's the part of the culture that is really loud and very reactive and constantly shifting in order to keep us kind of off kilter. The distraction layer is designed to keep us emotionally occupied. It gives us something to fight about so that we don't notice the machinery that's kind of clunking underneath. And that machinery is always the same. It's all about the people and the groups that get to shape reality and the people and the groups who get to interpret it the way that they want us to understand it. Once you stop reacting to the surface story that's being thrown at us again and again, you start noticing the pattern underneath it and then everything clicks into place.

[00:01:31]There's an ancient pattern that repeats itself throughout human history. Every time people start reclaiming their ability to think and interpret the truth and choose for themselves, the systems around them that have been very accustomed to getting control start to get a little bit nervous. People often call this rebellion, but it's not rebellion. That's not what it is.

[00:01:54]Rebellion is an act of disagreement. So, people who rebel aren't really a threat to the system because, you know, they rebel against all kinds of things, even each other.

[00:02:06]What makes a system really nervous is the fact that people are waking up.

[00:02:10]That's what's dangerous when it comes to a system because waking up is the single thing that destabilizes an established norm more than anything else. And the reason for that is because when people wake up, they all discover the same truth. Because when it comes to anything, there's only really one universal truth. And if everybody, regardless of what their previous views were in the world and how they were influenced, if they all wake up to that universal truth, then they are united.

[00:02:45]And that's why they are so dangerous to an established system. And so, when the system feels the shift of a waking population, it doesn't clamp down. What it does is it tries to create as much confusion as possible. Confusion is the most effective form of control. If you can keep people feeling overwhelmed inside confusion, then they stop asking the deeper questions. If you can keep them feeling emotionally exhausted, they stop noticing the patterns that are happening underneath those distractions.

[00:03:16]Confusion creates compliance without having to use any force. And right now, the confusion cycle is running at absolute full volume.

[00:03:27]That doesn't mean that the world is falling apart, quite the opposite, actually. It means that people are starting to see through all of that noise. Let me explain.

[00:03:37]When confusion is running at full volume, and it's been doing it long enough.

[00:03:42]Remember, full volume means it really can't get any crazier. [clears throat] And it's been doing it and doing it and doing it, it starts to work a little bit like those high impact movies or the you know, the action movies or the horror movies, the ones that that survive on shock value. People who felt the shock of those movies, whether it be high-impact action or horror themes, after a period of time, as shocking as they were, they start to get used to it.

[00:04:10]They start to get tired of it and the movie stops shocking people. Just think about those really scary, gruesome movies from the '80s or '90s.

[00:04:20]Now, you could watch them and they feel like nothing because they just don't work anymore. When enough people get tired of being tired, the confusion will just stop working and that's when the deeper pattern is going to reveal itself. This moment right now isn't about culture wars. It's not about left versus right or whatever the algorithm happens to be pushing today. This moment is about sovereignty. It's about who gets to interpret reality.

[00:04:48]We're in a transition between eras.

[00:04:51]We're at the threshold. The old systems that kept us under control are starting to lose their grip and the evidence is everywhere. There are new forms of meaning that are emerging for the future and they're competing against each other. People can feel that shift before they even understand it for what it is.

[00:05:12]That's the reason why everything feels chaotic and strangely familiar at the same time. The real story is always underneath the chaos and the distraction and the noise, always. That noise is just the camouflage and what's happening right now is a return of individual sovereignty.

[00:05:29]And the systems that have been in control in the past or even up until this moment, they really don't like it.
