The Asian Multiplication Trick is a visual method for multiplying large numbers by a single digit. The technique involves: (1) multiplying the first and last digits of the large number by the multiplier, (2) placing the first product at the beginning and the last product at the end, and (3) filling the middle with the remaining digits. For example, 999 × 4 = 3996, where 9×4=36 (first and last digits), and the two middle 9s are simply dropped between them.
