This video examines the case of Shah Rahman, a London Stock Exchange bomb plotter who was granted leave to remain in the UK under Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which provides absolute protection against torture and degrading treatment regardless of an individual's criminal history. The case highlights a fundamental tension in immigration law: while the Refugee Convention allows denial of status to those guilty of terrorist acts, Article 3 of the ECHR provides an absolute right to protection from torture that cannot be overridden by security concerns. The video also discusses how Rahman's wife, despite being caught with ISIS material at Heathrow airport, was initially allowed entry clearance before being banned, raising questions about inconsistent application of security measures in immigration enforcement.

THIS IS MENTAL: London Stock Exchange Bomb Plotter Uses ECHR to Stay in BritainAdded:
You literally cannot make this stuff up.
Now look, we have had a lot of wacky stories about migrants who can't be deported. Be it uh people whose sons don't like Albanian chicken nuggets or Jamaican pedophiles who can't be sent home because people might make fun of them for being uh bisexual and for being uh pedos. Um but this is just something else folks. This is something that genuinely threatens the security of this country and the safety of the people here in the UK. We have got to keep a terrorist in this country. A terrorist who plotted to blow up the London Stock Exchange and endanger the lives of huge numbers of civilians, innocent civilians here in the UK, let alone the damage it would have done to the London Stock Exchange and the chaos that would have caused. We have to keep him here in the UK because of his human rights. Because if we send the guy back to Bangladesh, there's a small chance that he might be tortured. Who cares if he's tortured?
Who cares if his life is in danger in Bangladesh? He tried to endanger the lives of Brits here in the UK. Why on earth has this happened? And why on earth was he ever allowed out of prison?
This is the monster in question. Uh Sha Raman. This guy now gets to live here in the UK. We can't get rid of him because of the ECR, that old Chestnut. Once again, another clear reason why we need to leave. I'm also going to show you in this video some of some shocking revelations that have just come out about his wife as well, which you absolutely don't want to miss. So, make sure you stay around for that. Before we get into it, make sure you subscribe to the channel down below if you haven't already, so you can stay up to date with all the news here at Reason. Let's get into it, folks. Uh, this is being reported in the Sun. Hats off to them for their reporting. I will link the full article uh down below. So, he was jailed in 2012 with his merry band of terrorist mates for plotting to blow up the London Stock Exchange. This is a serious terrorist that we are talking about now. For some god knows why reason, they let him out of prison in 2017. He should have been behind bars for life if you ask me. He is a huge huge danger to this country. he should be behind bars for life if he is to be in this country, not walking the streets freely. But they're just so kind to these terrorists in the system here in the UK that they decided in 2017 to let him out on license. Oh, oh, we're sure he's a nice guy. He couldn't possibly hurt anyone. Let him out um on license.
Why enough? And then he gets given a chance to apply for an for asylum at the same time. Why on earth is he even allowed a chance to apply for asylum?
He's literally a terrorist. I mean, what a waste of paperwork. What a waste of time of the civil servants that have to go through his application. Now, luckily, that was rejection rejected.
Some common sense. For once, the refugee convention says that you can deny refugee status to people who are guilty of terrorist acts. I mean, who' have thought that that would be a reason to deny people the right to stay in the UK?
Well, I mean, according to the ECR, that's not a good enough reason to deny people the right to stay in the UK.
That's right. He was granted leave to remain eventually despite the refugee convention failing him because of course the ECR came to his savior as it does for every wrongan that wants to stay in this country. Article three of the ECR says that he has an absolute right. No matter what, no matter how evil you are, no matter how much of a terrorist you are, no matter how many times you tried to blow people up, you have a right of protection from torture and degrading treatment. Degrading treatment. I couldn't give a toss if he receives degrading treatment. You know what's degrading treatment to the people of the United Kingdom? trying to blow up their stock exchange and kill a load of innocent civilians and blow up a load of buildings, cause an insane amount of damage, terrify the nation from ever going about their lives in London normally again. Okay, that that's pretty degrading.
Why is it all about him? Why? It's just unbelievable. Now, this guy gets to stay in the United Kingdom. I don't know where he's living. Maybe he's got a nice social house paid for by you, the taxpayer, whilst everyone else waits at the end of the queue. I don't know. I don't know. But what I do know is that his wife is pretty scary as well. Okay.
Another twist to the story. They're both terrorists basically. So whilst he was out of prison, he married a woman called Pavin Peru.
in a Islamic ceremony at the East London mosque that was in June 2019.
Now she is no longer in the country. She has been banned and kicked out the country by um Suela Bravman. She kicked her out the country, banned her from the country. So how come she can be banned from the country but this guy can't?
Well, turns out that she is pretty scary as well. So, she was caught at Heathrow airport with ISIS material on her phone.
Okay, she's a terrorist as well, or at least a wannabe terrorist. Okay, she was stopped by immigration officers. There is a a whole transcript where she's just very flippant, completely in denial of the fact she's done anything wrong, even though she's like, "Oh, I'm I'm just interested in what ISIS gets up to."
Right? Okay. Um, so she and get this folks, yes, she is now banned by the UK by from the UK by Swell Bravman. But before Swell Bravman did that, yet again, this woman despite being a total wrong and a huge threat to this country's security was allowed to stay in the UK. So in 2021, she it was, you know, it was told that she's not allowed to be in the UK, right? So she well okay she applied for entry clearance to the UK. It was initially denied and then it was granted after she applied a second time. Okay. Um but then she goes to court about ISIS propaganda being on her phone. That should immediately exclude you from the UK. Um but actually she was allowed. So she wasn't So she was at the airport.
They let her through. They let her through. So they might be stopping some Brit from coming in because their passport has expired, right? But this woman literally has ISIS propaganda. I mean, you think in an airport of all places, they are the strictest. Like you're always told, don't say the word bomb in an airport, else you're not going to get through. This woman didn't just say the word bomb. She literally had she showed herself on her phone to basically to be a terrorist or a wannabe terrorist. She could have blown up the airport for all I know. And they said, "Come on in. Come on in." Okay. And then she lived with her terrorist husband until he ended up back in prison in 2022. Then in 2023, Swella Bravman kicked her out the UK and she is now permanently banned from the UK. Why can we get rid of her but not the husband? I don't know. And I do wonder did Ramen did he marry her just so that he could try and apply for a right to a family life here in the UK? Possibly. That's not the grounds on which he was allowed to stay, but there's a good chance that was uh the reason why he did that, why he so quickly married someone after being let out of prison on license.
Honestly, absolutely bonkers, folks.
