Division by zero is undefined because no real number multiplied by zero can equal a non-zero numerator (like 1), making the equation mathematically impossible; calculators display 'ERROR' to prevent users from obtaining incorrect results that would break mathematical consistency.

Problem that completely break the rules of mathematics and calculators refuse to solve .Added:
There is one math problem so strange calculators refuse to answer it and the reason is genuinely terrifying. Normally division is simple. 0 / 1 = 0 because 0 * 1 is still 0. But now look at this. 1 / 0. This secretly asks what number multiplied by 0 gives 1 and suddenly mathematics breaks because no matter what number you choose 5 * 0 is still 0.
A million times 0 is still 0. Nothing multiplied by 0 can ever become 1 which means this equation has no real answer.
That's why mathematicians call division by 0 undefined and that's why every calculator on Earth shows only one thing.
