AI Just Solved 9 Unsolved Math Problems That Stumped Humans for Decades

[00:00:00]I am not a mathematician. I do not study math. I've never really been that good at it. Okay, but apparently AI is getting better and better at it and these researchers have now resolved nine of 353 open Erdos, probably messing that up, math problems. So, if anybody ever says that AI actually doesn't solve anything, I've got a lot of examples of this including medical and other physics and math applications. But, AI really does enable us to solve problems that we could not have solved before or had a lot of trouble solving. And in this case, they spent a couple hundred or few hundred dollars, excuse me, and proved 44 out of 492 OEIS conjectures and is being deployed in, okay, a lot of other kind of mathematical things. And this is very impressive. So, this is what I love to see about AI is I wanted to see it advance things in what we've been studying and trying to work out as humans and that trying to get there quicker. AI is a great tool and I love seeing things like this where math, science, and all of that is advancing that much more.
